The new drink concoction called "Justine's Justice Juice Revenge!" it is Durian liquor mixed with absinthe and Poitin and she feeds it to Kellie, Collin and Sean via a beer bong funnel lol.

Y'all should make a durian cocktail shoot and make sure to add Justine and Ciara together. Ciara's nonchalance about it and Justine's raw seething hatred. That's just good times!
There were some UA-camrs (Whiskey Tribe) that actually distilled durian fruit. Justine's face being told the drink was distilled from durian would be priceless....
if you can make a drink with durian and peanut butter then we could have Justine and Dermot both having great reactions, i'm fairly certain if you mixed them with guiness they cry and possibly murder Colin to death.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Justine are Ciara are the magic combo.
A note on adding salt or sugar to the rim: it's always best to only add salt/sugar to half the glass, that way the drinker may choose whether or not they want the salt/sugar with that sip.
Rule of thumb: If you are not sure you have ever had an Alabama slammer, just ask your best friend if they have ever bailed you out of jail on a Saturday.
That goes for Canadian Club & Royal Reserve ryes as well
While I live in Tennessee, my family is from Alabama, and I have never had an Alabama Slammer served in a highball glass. But, recipes vary... but wrecking you without you tasting it coming is absolutely the goal for this drink.
One of my absolute favourite pairings - Justine and Ciara! Anything Justine is just awesome. Everything Ciara is awesome. So, put them together, and good times are had by all! Plus, Blaithin in another pairing?!? You are SPOILING us!!!
Find out each TRYer's top 1 or 2 spirits, mix them, name the drink after the TRYer, and give it to their TRYer partner for reaction.

It is a big F*ck off goblet. That looked like about half a gallon of drink there. Really appreciate the fruit garnishes. It did look like they were all taking little baby sips of each one too. Which is not what I'm used to seeing. Justine is hilarious!! She is always so alive in the moment in these shoots. Just LOVE her humor. Ciara does always look like she is about to pounce on something,.. she just looks READY!!!
If Justine were a cocktail, she would be a Fuzzy Navel. And Ciara would be a Manhattan with bourbon bottled in bond.

Never seen an Alabama Slammer without either sloe gin or grenadine added. I'd probably like this iteration more than what I've had though
Yes. I’ve always had it with sloe gin and grenadine. I think the grenadine makes it taste like a Flintstones Push Pop. IYKYK.
I actually came to the comments just to emphasize that it should be Sloe Gin not regular gin :) and even better if you use a good whiskey instead of SoCo

Yup. I remember mine always having a red swirl floating through the drink, which I think is the sloe gin, because this drink is the only time I've ever heard of it.

The only Alabama Slammer🥃 I am used to is served in a shorter glass, and you slam it on the table 3 times before drinking it. Love them. You definitely get slammed after drinking them. You don't feel it until you stand up, then you're on your butt after three of them. They are so drinkable and yummy.

as a couple of people have said sloe gin is usually what is used to make a Alabama Slammer but i'm guessing that it's kind of hard-to-find sloe gin.
I can just see Justine and Ciara skipping down an alleyway together, holding hands, burning buildings in the background...

There was a bartender in Nova Scotia back in the '80's who made "A perfect View of the Ceiling". An interesting cocktail that packed a subtle punch. (so much so that I still remember it almost forty years later)

My fav cocktail is a Blue Lagoon. Blue Curacao, White Rum, Lemon & Lime Juice, topped with Sprite, garnished with an Orange slice.

I feel like whoever did the research for this video missed an important distinction in the recipe for the Alabama Slammer - it doesn't contain regular old gin, it has *SLOE* gin in it, and it gives the drink a lovely pinky sunset vibe. Gin tastes of juniper, whereas sloe gin tastes fruity and sweet and a little bit like plums.
An Alabama Slammer is, in fact, my go to summer cocktail and it *will* get you fucked up. The traditional recipe is one part each of Southern Comfort, Amaretto, and Sloe gin to two parts orange juice, served over ice. It's incredibly easy to make, sweet as candy with a tiny bit of tang from the oj, and I freaking love them.
The Two-Girl Swirl - - in an old-fashioned glass with ice, add 2 oz. Everclear and 2 oz. Green Chartreuse. Give the mix a single stir (the Swirl). For Ciara and Justine.
I was just in Ireland (wish we met up) and I'm not sure why, but there's Coors Light on ALL the taps in every pub we visited. Someone once left Coors Light at my house, and I found a use for it - Fill a tall glass 2/3 with ice. Cover the ice with peach schanapps. Fill the rest of the glass with Coors Light, leaving room for a generous splash of orange juice. And there you have what I have dubbed a "Colorado Bellybutton"

And btw...(as a bartender)...it isn't hard to "hide" gin. There are MANY drinks that do it quite well. I recommend a "Bramble".
As someone that enjoys a good craft cocktail from time to time (pretty much every evening) I will have to come up with a few good ones that surprise folks that visit my house.

Yeah, here in Alabama, we pronounce it Slamma, no R at the end. The University of Alabama football team has a chant that goes "Rammer Jammer, Yellowhammer(which is the state bird), Give 'em hell, Alabama" but we drop the R on all those words.
To be fair to Justine, when the title card popped up I read Cold in the Showers as well, and knowing this channel I just went with it.

In the States an Alabama Slammer is made with: Amaretto, Southern Comfort; & sloe gin.

Ciara and Justine is a combination for the ages (and I like Bláithín's fingernails). Try a Texas Cheater: Corona (which otherwise sucks) with a shot of Amaretto. Somehow it comes out tasting like Dr Pepper.
Upgrade it to a flaming dr pepper: 1/2 to 3/4 pint of your choice light color beer, shot glass with amaretto, Chambord, 151. Light shot on fire, drop into beer, chug the mixture. Note: many locations have rules against lighting drinks on fire, which is a shame as the fire adds something to the flavor possibly a hint of caramelization of sugars, but understandable as drunks and portable fire liquid is a bad mix.
@@13Nagash13 I'm too old for that. Plus, my old friend Paul has scars from trying a flaming drink back around 1990. He deserved it; he's an idiot. I try not to be. Although what you describe is interesting, especially the caramelization bit. I might try it some night when I'm already bent.

I thought Jade Martini was actually Midori + Coconut rum + Pineapple juice, but I've also seen variants with vanilla vodka and lime+ lemon juice instead of the coconut rum. I usually only rim half my glass and leave the other half without so I can chose when I want to add it to my taste buds

Finally, a proper made Alabama Slammer! I do think they missed that it's Sloe Gin, not gin.
Alabama Slammers would bring back memories of drinking in college bars, if I could remember some of those nights.
My homemade go to is: 1 shot amaretto, 1 shot kahlua, ice and tonic.. tastes like a soda, goes down smooth and sneaky!

Prohibition times in America sounded much more exciting, everywhere you went gambling was legal and alcohol wasn't. Literally everyone you went was poker in the front and liquor in the rear!
Here are two cocktail suggestions 1 Between the Sheets: Recipe calls for 1 ounce ight rum, 1 ounce Cognac, 1 ounce Triple Sec 1/4 ounce lemon juice (fresh squeezed and topped off with an orange peel garnish. The second one is a classic Rum Daiquiri.

My favorite cocktail is a Wild Thing. It's equal parts of amaretto and Malibu, over ice with pineapple juice and a splash of grenadine.
Justine made a comment in another video some time back that I will never forget - "foamin' at the gash". I think that would be a good name for a cocktail and I bet Ciara could come up with a recipe.
