why is no one talking about how cool it is that JOHNNY MARR is on this song

Probably because you can't expect the girl who had never heard of Van Halen expect to know who Johnny Marr was, unfortunately. Granted some of that blame for not knowing who Van Halen was, falls squarely on the late Eddie Van Halen's shoulders due to the band's long inactivity.

Finneas must feel so fucking good writing the melody that, beyond the title song, became the main love theme for the movie because Hans was like, no, this is dope as fuck, we're using this through the whole movie.

When one realizes that Matera's theme which appears twice, the second time at the last scene is the violin part of the original arrangement of There's All Time in The World, the impression is deep and endurable. NTTD is plenty of little details, so is ideal for multiple views, like every true classic movie.

Also, the chorus of No Time To Die is accompanied with the chord sequence of Barry's theme, making an striking effect, specially in the reconciliation between James and Madeleine.

Both lyrics and music ilustrate perfectly the internal world of the main character after Madeleine departs in the train.

In the opening the third chord departs from the loop of the traditional Barry's theme and the listener clearly understand something finally will happen in NTTD.

Shoshana michel has a song called prelude in E minor. If you listen to the 40 second mark on the song, sounds like what this bond song sampled it from

Severine - Bond encounter in the bathtub in Skyfall has also beautiful music that generates a sensation about seduction and the exotic place where it happens. On the other hand Madeleine - Bond reencounter at home has an absolutely different meaning captured perfectly with the final fussion of Barry and NTTD theme. All is about scars to be cured, forgiving secrets hidden, and the strong confession of the deep "bond" between both main characters. James and Madeleine are not casual encounters, they are a couple, as Vesper was briefly before her betrayal and death.

To me this is my favorite Bond song and to anyone amazement I actually wrote the lyrics to this upcoming 007 feature two years ago when I realized another Bond movie was in the works.
To date stamp all my songs I write I always send me an email for validation if anyone asks. But here goes here's the lyrics. The only thing I added was the actual name of the movie after I realized the title.
    No Good Time To Die
    A star is born.
A shining light is newly formed.
An ease has overcome me. Replacing all my torment life. Breaking down the walls of strife.
    The sands of time.
The faces are no friends of mine.
Each moment placed in front of me. Creating shadows in the dark. Destiny has left its mark.
No place to go. No one to hold
    Every smile is a frown
    Everything turned upside down.
There's no truth. No reply to why.
There's no good time to die.
There's no good time to die.
    I hear no sounds.
    I see nothing.
I gasp for air, but it's not there.
Tell me why I must care.
I know the truth must be somewhere.
No place to go. No one to hold
    Every smile is a frown
    Everything turned upside down.
There's no truth. No reply to why.
There's no good time to die.
There's no good time to die.
    No good time to die.
    Every smile is a frown
    Everything is upside down.
There's no truth. No reply to why.
There's no good time to die.
There's no good time to die.

So sad. But I have to be honest. As a long long time fan of Hans’ music since I was a kid, “NO TIME TO DIE” has to be Hans’ worst album 💿 yet.
There is nothing here that sounds original. Why get Maestro Zimmer to score your movie, if he’s just gonna sound like Thomas Newman?!! And not even that good!!!!!
And then, there are parts where Hans literally plagiarized his own score from the dark knight!!!! Except it sounds worse, like a kid trying to play Batman 🦇 on a Cheap Casio keyboard 🎹
You got a beautiful state of the art studio Hans!!!!! And this is what you came up with?!!!
    Bland, uninspired and completely forgettable.
I remember when I was young, I was so excited whenever Hans has a new album, and would beg my mom to buy it for me! Hans’ early music 🎶 always sound so different and new and original, And now…..so so disappointed.
    Hans Zimmer’s Best Scores:
    Driving Miss Daisy
    Rain Man
    True Romance
    Regarding Henry
    Tears of the Sun
    The Prince of Egypt
    The Holiday
    The Power of One
    Black Rain
    Backdraft
The Pirates of The Caribbean series

Kinda surprised no one has made this comment... Billie seems to exhibit body language that is condescending and disapproving, to an extent, some of the times Johnny speaks, and you can tell he picks up on it, because he then starts talking less confidently and questioning himself and showing some shyness in his body language.
As a Johnny Marr fan, I gotta say, that’s pretty annoying to think this girl who just came out of nowhere thinks she’s better than a guitar legend like Johnny Marr. I’m sure he understands by now that not everyone is gonna recognize and adore you, but still. Says a lot about kids growing up today... don’t even understand or pay respect to the legends that shaped modern music.

Or maybe you're just incorrect and wanted an opportunity to be condescending to a young artist

Imagine basing your judgement of a person and an entire generation upon moments of body language in an interview

    • @alexagomez111

Billie has Tourette's. From watching her documentary, I could tell she was probably struggling with a bit of a tic throughout the interview, which would explain the odd blinking and eye rolling. As a fan of Billie, I can tell you she is not condescending at all, quite the opposite actually. You can tell easily from watching any other interview of hers or even just through her music.
When it comes to extremely successful young artists, it can be really easy to judge them harshly. I do this myself all the time. But just like Billie said it herself in the interview, it is always great to have an open mind and not let your preconceived notions of an artist or any person really be the sole thing that you're judging them upon.

I used to think the same thing about her for the longest time, now she's one of my favorite artist of all time. Give her a chance, She's much more than just another modern cookie cutter young pop star. When the Party's Over, Male Fantasy, I Love You, and Everything I Wanted are some of her best songs.
