Had to adjust mine last night on my Kubota L2501..............I'm definitely going to be replacing them ASAP!...The sway of the 3-point while hauling hay bales was bending the mounting tabs on my two 3-point Hay Spikes.
Thanks for the vid. Good idea. I would like to go for a hydraulic toplink on my L2850DT. Any hints for the valve and hydraulics to pick up? Regards Heinz
Telescopic stabilizers, wheel spacers and pats quick hitch has been an awesome combination. My l2501 3 point is sooo much easier to use than my dad's L series which is oem. With the kubota 1" wheel spacers the spacing is good, haven't rubbed my tires at all. Without spacers I'm sure it's tight
Crazy Daze…..all of your upgrades come a standard equipment on New Holland, Case and Massey Ferguson machines. Orange compacts are basically price point machines as well as the Deere compacts unless they are R series machines. Cheaper is never cheaper in the end after upgrades are added that come standard on other brands. Also you want some sway in the hitch so when you hit something solid the hitch can give some in order not to tear the hitch up..
I just fought with this for my new backhoe yesterday so thanks for this. The link for the arms doesnt work but no big deal. I also am not a fan of how the hydraulic hose and connection are located for the backhoe. When the backhoe is off, the hydraulic hoses are way too close to the lift arms for me. I zip tie it to the backhoe mounting pin hole, but want to try to find a 90 degree hose and attachment for that. But, thank you for making these videos. I am always looking for mods for my L3901!!!
Hey Cody now that you have the telescopic stabilizers, let's take it further and put adjustable link end lift bars on that rig. Once upon a time l had a"mirrical wonder quick-hitch";; it folded up, buckled, twisted,& got manglated itself in 10 minutes flat. Two of my tractors have telescopic link ends & stabilizers & one doesn't . The "quick-hitch" system didn't work for me (too much variation between implements) to all ways work right for me. I like only telescopic link-ends & stabilizers. Reasons:: always right ,always tight & 50% of the time have to get off of tractor to hook up the drive line PTO. I know the 3 point linkages have to come ALL OFF when the back-hoe goes on( only did that procedure twice), solved that rig-a-ma-rool & just got another tractor for 3 point usages. The Kubogy back-hoe mounting system is really good for the back-hoe usage, but a 2 hour conversion back&forth 3point is a pain when a one tractor system has to do it all. So l like the" muti-tractor system" and pursuing tractor #4 for the fleet. Just a case of"tractor-itis"@ 65,000$ paid out thus far. Thanks for the great vidio Sir and happy safe Tractoring & keep all you good ideas comming.
I have a L3901 too. I didn’t get ones with pins because I thought the wheelbase on the 3901 was not wide enough. It appears from the comments the wheelbase it to narrow. I do agree though. Implements with a pin sticking out and the lower links have to go around the pin to hook up are miserable. It is a living nightmare
What I like about those. Quick & strong. What I don't like about those, If the different equipment isn't exact to the holes then the 3 point attachment will not be solid and it with have horizontal sway from side to side which will eventually wear the holes larger. The turnbuckles are a pain in the rump, but once centered it's solid.
So if you just cut the original turnbuckles in half snd welded telescoping square tubing with drilled holes to each half, you would have the best of both worlds
The turnbuckles are junk , they are barely good enoigh for the tony lawnmower sized Kubotas, and the Telescopic ones is a downgrade also because they WILL hit your tires on any incline or turn without $500 wheel spacers. This isnt a mod at all its just another bad product by Kubota. My 70 year old Moline has better setup than anything Kubota offers. Stop letting idiots design tractors!

These are awesome and will certainly prevent that in the future!

They look nice on there
Thanks!

Spacers are on the list!

Thanks for the advice! I'm looking to eventually sell the Kubota and buy a skid steer. It's more practical for what I need.

They do rub the lift arms and I am not a huge fan of that! You are very welcome! Thanks for the comment!

I like my adjustable ones a lot more than turnbuckles. Have not had an issue with them with any of the equipment I use.
You will, save your old turnbuckles!
Still going strong!
Kioti Tractors come with those standard on the 3 point
Nice! Haven’t looked at a kioti yet

Springclips are called clevis pins
Why wouldn’t these fit every compact tractor?
R pins Cody. Because the clip look like a capital "R".
Tomato tomato 🤣
They suck with my stump grinder. Other than that they are great.
I’ve never tried them with a stump grinder, good to know!!

I liked them
