@@gohan32 It was because Geek and Sundry got bought. There ended up being quite a bit of bureaucracy and approval that Wil needed to before an episode could start shooting and it ended up killing the fun of the show for him.

Yea, I don't think that Legendary Digital Networks understands that, as much as we like Tabletop, we can just go play a board game ourselves. It's not hard, in fact it is fun. We can get information about board games from a massive number of sources, Tabletop is valuable, but not that valuable, they are really overplaying their hand.

I just had a wonderful experience: I heard Marisha in a game for the first time.
I was playing MGS5:TPP and bumped into a soldier who said "Great to have yo back, Boss!"
And I went "that was Marisha, right?" She's not in as many games as the rest of the CR family, so it was just a genuine moment of surprise and joy

I love how excited everyone got whenever someone else did something cool, especially Alison at the end there with the kraken. The banter is great, but it's always refreshing to see people genuinely pleased to see each other succeed as well. Awesome!

Thank you everybody that was the best ever! I am currently awaiting the arrival of my own Champions of Midgard board game and I was searching the net for how to plays, I am so glad I chose this as a tutorial. Now I have a very good feel for the game play as well as learning a few valuable dirty tricks. I can only hope that my gaming sessions reach the levels of friendly brawling fun we all enjoyed today, great work legends, see you all in Valhalla.
Norwegian here, we don't care about it being historically incorrect (Horned helmets) or that you revert to butchering our weird language, it's all cool and funny, we can take it, we used to take other peoples land and people so it's all good.
Pillaging and murdering is quite a regal history to live up to. But without your mythology, the entire world of Marvel's Thor wouldn't exist, and then we wouldn't have Chris Hemsworth shirtless laughing about Mjolnir....so the world thanks you for that!

There is not a country nor nation without a bloody past, instead of ignoring it or lessening it, we usually take the values and lessons from it and let it form us as a people, it's one of the reasons why Scandinavia these days all have good negotiators, the vikings did settle eventually all on the coasts where they used to plunder. You have to be able to talk at great lengths to manage that.

I am Swedish and I do not really care either. I think it is funny to hear people try to say the names. I am not so good at saying the names either so I I don care when others fail to pronounce names
This was one of the best Tabletop episodes I have ever seen. Laughter all around and complete enjoyable insanity. Also, good god Wil is short compared to that guy XD

He has a bit of a spoiled attitude at times that cause people to not like her. It comes out a lot more on critical role than on this episode of table top, but you can kinda see the pouting in some spots.

No Scandinavian, absolutely none. Not the Danes, not the Norwegians, not the Swedes, not the Icelandics. None of us will ever find the inaccurate Viking helmet offensive. Stupid? Sure. Offensive? Why!? What's so offensive about it?

Not only that, but the horned ones look fucking sweet compared to the derpy hornless ones.
They look cooler, but to think that that was actually true, like ever, is kind of stupid. It's completely impractical and will only draw attention to your location. So sneak attacks would become harder.
Although, intimidation wise, they might have been able to help had they ever existed.
It usually conjures images of Elmer Fudd vs. Bugs Bunny, "kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit!"

Another extremely funny episode that needs to be released as an extended one!!! If this kind of quality keeps up throughout the season, I'll be wanting them all to be extended!!!

I just wanted to say thank you to the production team for making another great episode of TableTop. I loved this. Wil, Alison, Chirs, and Marisha were a great mix for the show, and this was a great game to play. It makes me sad that I will need to wait so long to see the next episode, but this episode reminded me of why I love TableTop so much. I'm just glad it exists. Thanks.

This is arguably my favorite episode of TableTop. Just genuine fun and witty banter. Makes me want to play more games!
this was a great episode, too bad we now have to wait nearly three months to see if G&S's new owners let the rest of the season on youtube. the current plan say's yes, but i'm not convinced untill the episodes are out.
Considering how lackluster all but one other show does I hope so. Only thing I watch here

I'm several years late to this party, but just now saw this video. Champions of Midgard is my favorite game and just had to watch. The expansions make this game much much better too.

This is one of the greatest UA-cam channels i have ever seen! Sometimes i can't get enough time, or friends, to play some of these games. And I can get my fill of geek boardgame feelings through you guys. And of course, through Wil Wheaton and his magnificent beard. Thank you for making a fourth season. A tip is to get your hands on a boardgame called "Nazgul the Boardgame". There are no dice throwing, so Wil can feel better from that.

No worries about the pronunciation. It is a hard G, like in Gas, though who knows how they pronounced their names back in the iron age. Languages and pronunciation does change. Anyway, no need to be concerned, we (at least I) are not overly sensitive :)

I dunno if it's that dumb a dischion, considering they're still going to get all the views they could expect now when they release the videos in January.
I assume Will Wheaten actually rolls insanely good and therefor they have to play 1000 of rounds until there is one he rolls bad. This results in the delay between making and uploading the video.
2nd but really unrealistic assumption would be: there is lots of preparation involved to find people, find an date everyone is fine with, pick a game and then cutting the video...

6:20 No problem, this happens often enough and usually we Nordic people jut have a good laugh at you non-Nordic people attempting at pronouncing our names and words. Hel, we even laugh at each other trying to pronounce each others words and names.
This was one of my favorite episodes mainly because everybody seemed to have fun.
