@@marloncrudo1152 well of course he is norwegian ;-) congratulations for having 2 of the best albums ever (in my opinion) if we made a club exclusively for those who own both of these pressings, how many members do you think we would have?
@@marloncrudo1152 i also have the complete ulver and arcturus catalogue on vinyl. "sham mirrors" is quite rare. i also have the complete burzum catalogue on first press up until filosofem (those records are insanely valuable) just check discogs, i think "aske" went for 2000 euros recently
Amazing discussion! Thank you for uploading this. I have a lot of respect for his aim to constantly evolve the music of Dødheimsgard. I'm looking forward to excavating what genres are hidden in the new album for 2020 :)
I'll think this pandemic time will boost the next Opus Magnus from DHG. I recently know the band by hearing and listening "A Umbra Omega". I find it just a really dark gem, so i'm searching for all Vicotnik material available at the web to know at least a little part of his mind.
Y really respect this guy from just when i listened the first work i ever hear of them: A Umbra omega. I felt someone really authentic behind that creation
Very cool Marlon, thanks for the upload! I met Yusaf many years ago at an Inferno fest, also designed their mypsace page haha... looking forward to the new material.
Very very interesting material. But Please fix the intense background noise ...there áre parts i deeply wanted to undersatand but i just couldnt even replaying lots of times
I am sorry, interview has been done by using a mobile phone :) No professional microphone...we went to a place on a hill on top of Oslo for the silence...lol
I will always remember the night Yusaf "La Moustache" Parvez died in my arms, back in the day when neither him nor I even existed. Both a lifelong abductee & contactee, he was one of the few, among us shape-shifters hiding where rainbows end, to have been selected for project Black Metal in Norway. Vicotnik was only a code name. To us, he was, still is and forever will be known as Mr. Fixit.
I hope that the DHD make more music ! I mean I have been listenig such a artist like JK flesh for a while and he do it just perfectly Like search some new and make it works it again and go back wirh some old shit added somethig new!!!!! Just dont do it for years for what are yours fans are wairting for. But what i'm for saying
Criminally underrated OG of the black metal scene.
Thank you Mr.Crudo for a great interview and in general all you do for spreading good music!
Thank you for uploading this interview. Ved Buens Ende and Dhg are my favorite bands together with Arcturus and The almighty Ulver.
You are welcome! I hope you enjoyed the interview
Very interesting. Dødheimsgard & Ved Buens Ende are in my top 2 favourite bands.

Led here from the resplendent grotesque basslines
