Damn you boys I'm so proud of what you guys are doing, I'm 64 years old and I would hate go take a guess of how many tons of sawdust I brought into Burnside there for Kingsford charcoal, that's some rough trucking country but man it sure is beautiful and anyone who has a chance to drive it just take your time it really enjoy it, I live right beside the belden company that the fitzgeralds acquired up here in Monticello, Kentucky sure was crazy when they did not think that his first idea of building gliders there at Monticello would work it cost a lot of good men some good work, I just pray that what you guys have got going now will throw a little cash this way, may the good Lord continue to bless all of you and stay safe and if you're ever here at Monticello and you need a hand just holler for rattler on the radio and we'll be there, once again may the Lord continue to bless you take care of that fine young man you're raising that's the only way to raise a young son,
@Gentryandsons
Hey that sweeper that Brax was running I actually build that exact frame and part for a welding shop in Wisconsin
No matter the trade, no matter how much you know, no matter how long you have been doing it, you will learn something new everyday.
And there will always be a troll on the Internet who thinks they know more....
If you're not learning something new everyday in this world, you're not trying.
Fact
Just talk that means nothing
Straight facts mate..
Thought I saw a imperfection in the paint but it was just a reflection of Tim.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lol
Great job at partnering up with FCR and sharing the pride their guys take in their work! Well done!
Do they have another big plant down south I thought that they used to do all their gliders here in the Livingston but then when they didn't move up to Monticello seems like the big truck gliders went somewhere else, one guy said they was in Louisiana and another one told me they was down in Florida but who knows that, I like to know what happened to him though because they used to every time I drive down to Chattanooga they just be rolls and rolls of them big beautiful trucks there in Livingston
This Pete is definitely going to be a show stopper I can feel it.
That paint guy is awesome taking the time to teach, very well done,
Im sure the trolls will crawl out before long to have their say. Good work, Tim by learning like this you are also teaching Brax and your children that youre never too good or too old to pick up new stuff.
Stay safe, man and i cant wait for the finished truck
Will in my humble opinion is Tim don't learn something he's missing a hell of an opportunity, you don't find shops like that just every day of the week that is a nice shops with them guys have, seems like they know how to do it also
Tim’s weld sounded like porosity and the weld looked like a a rolled up piece of bubble gum that landed on the piece he was planning on welding. U got welders and u got grinders… Timmy is 100% a grinder lol!! You can fill a gap full of metal but if it isn’t penetrating and all u do is grind down your weld to look pretty, in no time the weld will be cracked
The frame rails are looking awesome, paint the drive shafts blue the truck will pop!!😊😊😊
You should interview Rob Fitzgerald... would like to know his story!
Jake brakes with no load You're my hero
I drive truck everyday myself and I do myself use the jake brakes unloaded as well…. You pay for breaks? Or even hold a class a cell yourself? If so let me guess an automatic only?
lol my uncle was a towie and one day out with him was called to retrieve a semi on a mountain emergency stopping pad and he had lost his brakes while empty. he said he regretted not relying on his jakes more. safer is smarter and you sir are clueless.
Yea I live in pretty flat land in the Dakota not many runaway ramps here besides out there’s a couple…. And boy howdy I pray I never have to use one
Class A cdl (commercial drivers license) sorry autocorrect…
@8:08 , He makes it look EASY ! Pro at Work , RESPECT !
Dang it. A little clickbait with the thumbnail. Already seen this all in a live.
Wow, what a great learning video. Thanks Tim & Fitzgerald Collision!
That painter is like an artist with those spray strokes... MAN makes it look easy.. When its SO hard to do.
What are the odds this truck never makes the show with or out Mr gentry?
I really like this kind of video listening to the knowledge he has sharing with others
Timmy, you look so funny trying to act like you know what you are doing. You pretending to sand the tractor frame was hilarious 😂 😂😂😂.
All I can say is WOW amazing that's the kind of good ol boys I would like to meet every day thanks for helping Tim and Westen
Tim, just to chime in, Some days your the teacher, and some days your the student..And allways remember, a day that goes by without learning something, is a day wasted, God Bless you all in your journey, and special thanks to the fellas at Fitzgerald collision and Repair, for standing by and the never ending support to you and your team.
Your uncle would love this shop.
I wasn't sure at first due to the camera BUT it really does look absolutely Amazing Beautiful can't wait to see the Truck completely finished it's going to be Sooooo Awesome.
Love these Tennessee mountains brother
I love the color of the frame amazing your truck is going to look beautiful
Hard Work = Goals and you have no problem with the hard work !
I’ve always been told I would learn something new everyday. I haven’t stopped learning since then. You don’t realize you learn something new if you don’t want to learn something new.
Good thing Mr. OCD had someone else do the work or that dude would never get his truck back.
Oh my goodness what a great looking frame. Killer job guys 💪,an thanks for sharing 😊.
Thanks for getting the truck somewhere to get the finish coming
That is a very clean shop.

I can not wait to see the final product once that Rig Rolls out the shop for the 1st time, she is going to look Bad Ass, I Really like that color.
That's awesome. I convinced a customer a few months back to put a gray with blue pearl over on his car. It's a color you don't see and it's looks good.
He is definitely right about passing on the trade to the younger generation. I have run heavy equipment doing pipe installation for 30 years and I am very happy to pass on what I've learned to anyone who wants to listen.
Keyword “ listen “ seems to be missing from younger generation
Hi Tim Gentry and Sons and family
Can anyone understand what Braxton says?? Besides “hey dad and burnout truck” maybe some wireless microphones would help.
The crew of FCR are true professionals. Passionate about their trade.
The 379 is really going to be a sharp truck.
I worked with devilbiss equipment back in the early 80's. They had great support and renewal part availability back then.
I always liked the 351, 352, 359, and 379 series and the 70's paint schemes.
Love the route. I waved from the box truck
I had a 93 exhd Pete 379 the paint color was black red pearl on a sunny day you could really see that red it was beautiful. That shop is awesome I had heard of this place but had no idea how big it is.
He acts like he has a big load on going up them hills
It is a lot of hard work prepping for the paint job and that's one hell of a crew right there man they all know their shit 💪🏼💪🏼💚🤟🏻🤟🏻😎👊🏻🇺🇲🌍✌🏼
I see SH TUBE in that trucks future !
Asome people.
And even better painters.
Looks sick.
3 & A 1/2 Mins In & Tim Has Rooster 🐓 With That Good Humm,, Sound's Bad"Ass ,, 💪🏼💪🏼💚🌍🇺🇲✌🏼

Holy crap. Dane Cook painted the truck.
Man that look so good that frame with nothing on it

Tim your going to need some of those strap tie downs they use on the race cars in the trailer to not scratch that amazing looking frame!!!!
That truck is going to be sick when its finished. Cant wait
Good morning Tim@
Tim i want thank you so much few years back u and ur family help me and my wife when we are out gas aging thank you love you and ur family u tube channels
Hi Tim all the way from Yorkshire England you need to get as much information as possible on painting as possible
I worked at Freightliner Truck Manufacturing Plant in Cleveland, NC. We would build at our peak 40 new trucks per shift per assembly line (there were 2 lines) per day!
That was one of my favorite jobs was setting engines. When I was there, we put Cummins, Caterpillars, Detroits, and Mercedes engines in those trucks. Since I’ve been placed on disability, they’ve quit using Caterpillars. Try setting that engine while the chassis is rolling down the assembly line! The engines get set with the transmission, radiator, charge air cooler, and battery cables attached. One person can set the engine by themselves if everyone else is still finishing their job on the previous truck!
Really enjoyed working there.
Good work guys!!
The chassis were hand painted just like this in a paint booth.
Every job was in 11 or 12 minute cycles. After the chassis were painted, they kept rolling into the drying booth which baked the paint on the through a cool down booth where the “pool” of guys I worked with started with putting on brake hoses, wiring harnesses and all air lines then a group called “tie-up” using -you guessed it, zip ties to tie up the harnesses and air lines. Then battery boxes and fifth wheels which were on a little cart following their trucks down the line were installed. Directly after that was “engine swing,” at the mid last station, the drivelines were attached to the transmission, the exhaust was installed, and all plumbing to the engine was completed. Battery cables were ran & hooked up as good as they could be without a cab. Once it left engine swing, it got mudflats, fuel tanks and then they swung the cab aboard!
Awesome stuff!
Yeah I know Westin going crazy right now.
Definitely love the new color better than the frame color
Rooster sounds so good.
The hol truck look good I like it
You guys are stepping it all up !!!!! Fantastic!!!!!
Keep on keeping on Tim you're doing a great job, it's going to pay off in the end really it will it'll show that you've upped your game, it will help establish your name further in the future. Wish you all the best man keep on doing a good job God bless you and take care. #StayFrosty bro.
Thanks brother
Look like you went down hwy 84 from Monterey to Livingston. I been up and down it a few times in my 98 379!! Painting has come a long way from the 90s. I use to work in a body shop painting vehicles before i got my CDL!!
Learn everyday something new
Changing the frame color is definitely a better choice.
Whooo eeeee gonna be frickin sexxxxxy loving this build keep up the good work all of ya that shop is amazing.HELL YEAH
Video's are out of order ! You did a live the other night and the frame was repainted already and the engine was in ! So what were the changes ??
Great way to save some money by using leftover paint on Westens truck from the wrecker paint job. It came out good.
Blueberry pearl would be a cool name for the truck
Dude can paint! and buff!
