great work so far. tip to get seam sealer nice cut the brush bristles down then brush it on , then after use little thinners on the brush drag it over the sealer nice factory look.

Hey mate! Thanks for the video. I just bought VW T3 with high roof and starting with campervan conversion but first things first I need to fix the rust issue. I already did some patches on the rear bumper and side moulding which was easy as it was straight or slightly bended but now I got to the same stage as you described in the video. It is so helpful to watch someone who knows what he is doing and sharing a perfect tutorial on how to do it. I felt kind of lost and helpless but after this video, I am sure I will be able to do it. I will surely spend more time doing it than you but because of your video, I feel confident enough to do it. Thanks, mate

I realize this is an older video, but It just showed up in my recommended list. Glad I got to watch you do such repairs. I like how you make them via shrinker/spreaders and roller tools. I also like how after you weld in the new panels you blend them into the existing ones to make a seamless look. I also like your robot shirt after the "instructable" website. That tells me everything about your ideas and interests... Thumbs up!

Добрый день. Отлично сделанная работа. В моей семье тоже есть VW T3 пассажирский. Время его не пожалело. Сейчас его восстанавливаю. Приятно видеть в мастерской много хорошего инструмента.

You did a very good job on this project. I was worried when I saw the rust of your T3 but you fixed it very well. I would buy a car repaired as well as you repaired your T3. How did you learn the use of metal shaping with the shaping wheel?

Hey, There Sebastian, welcome back on the VW T3 restoration, you did some nice padge work there. I don't know if you have seen my work on the VW T3 SC, I did clean the whole beneath for bitumen it`s equal to rust under that .but we have all our methods to deal with rust issues. the work you did with the driver`s floor was excellent also on the Dogleg the panel in the seat bay was well executed. did like your work and the metal forming of the different metal pieces. well-done👍🏻👏🏻☮🙏🏻🇳🇴. Greetings.Hubertus.

Thank you Hubertus! Yes, I seen that. Soo much work to remove all of that stuff. Remember, this is just a work truck. I’ll probably do it on the red truck though.
