I was deeply worried about these things when I first saw them because Mechtanium Surge continues to traumatize me, as well as Baku nano having just been plainly offensive to me in general, they and the mechtogan came together to make it feel like the Bakugan name was just slapped onto whatever garbage they wanted to shift. But darn if Nanogan haven't become my favorite gimmick of the entire franchise. The toys aren't necessary for the game so they don't clutter a deck, they can stand on thier own as toys and don't need to be an accessory to have play value, they aren't the world's worst shade of grey, and their characteristics are defined enough that they feel as full of character as the normal 'gan (the fact they use otherwise unrepresented designs like snails and lobsters helps with that too). Something about them really recaptures the magic of the original 2007 line before B2. These innocuous marbles that happen to hold something special. I hope they stick around. Edit: oh also Riptide Nation forever.
I mean I can see them being pretty fun. Plus you can either plan to go for specific cores OR you can play the game normally and wait for it to Happen by accident. Honestly, I have to thank you jet. I remember I had like 10 of the new bakugan just sitting in a bag, collecting dust. Until I just came across your videos. They put my old childhood love back into this hobby. And I have on one to thank but you. And in that time I’ve accumulated 50 bakugan, 6 nanogans, and 7 geogan. Thank you jet, for bringing my passion for bakugan back.
I recently rekindled my joy in Bakugan (that I had in them maybe 8 or 9 years ago) by going to a target, seeing a pack of 3 for 12 dollars, and buying them because I remembered that I really liked them. But one of them was a small little guy, so I was a bit confused on what in the world the point of it was. And then I found that the little guy had one of those pegs that could fit into one of the hexagonal holes, and then I was intrigued. So I looked them up and this was the first video I found. Seeing all the Bakugan you have, a lot of them I've never even seen before because it's been so long since I've even had any. I think I want to start collecting them again. I never really got into the actual game aspect of the toys, but I always loved seeing all the intricate ways they opened and closed.
I've been watching quite a few of your videos and man it kinda makes me want to get back into bakugan. The way the reboot is handling the IP seems nice.
The worst part of Nanogan is that they are so lack of details that there will be Bootlegs of these in no time... Wich is a shame because they are cool... But they look kind of cheap... Well at least there is a lot of room for Custom since they now don't have complex magnets or colors

I feel like these will later be used for blind bags that can be bought for a cheaper price, or they could be used for a separate game, similar to the retro Bakugan rules, but simplified to not have all the clutter of added gimmicks.

Well this stinks, that I rejoin Bakugan when I did. Been binge watching your videos the past week and other Bakugan stuff. Decided to get the toys 5 and just been collecting. Already at 14 Bakugan, 2 Nanogan, 2 Geogan, a Battle Mat, and Battle Arena. However, I didn't know until now the TCG is on hiatus. Plus, I also found out a lot of the community is actually based in Texas, but I'm literally moving out within the next month to South Dakota, lol. Just the luck of the Kiwi, once again. I never have good luck. But, glad to see Bakugan is back. I knew it was when I saw the relaunch back in 2019, but I forgot until I decided to look for my Bakugan for some reason and also looked up videos, stumbling upon yours. Been in a dark place admittedly, and this has made me genuinely happy, falling in love with Bakugan again. Forgot how much I loved it.
I'm going to spend some of the last of my birthday money to get it these will be one of the first Bakugan I get and I find them very cool because of how small cute and yet powerful these are
Hey congrats on 100K! I've been watching for awhile now, and have been loving the bakugan content! You've been wholly responsible for recultivating my love of the reboot after legacy ended, and I look forward to seeing more of your content in the future! (and maybe even playing the TCG with people someday)
It kind of worries me that this new addition power creeps the game. I just discovered the reboot like a few weeks ago and wanted to slowly build myself a deck/collection of bakugan like i never could when i was a kid. i still dont have that much money so it kind of worries me that what little i have will get power crept before i even have a full deck.
Love these so much, absolutely adore Nano Shadow and Nano Lancer. But after all this time I still can't help but think about some missed potential in regular Bakugan. Where are Artulean and Apollyon? Why not make official physical copies for in show Bakugan like Boxer or the Samurai from early episodes? Maybe more dinosaurs, maybe, could be, please?
Nice Haircut lol Finally Another Video! Good Job on the video it was fun to watch! This explains every single question I had since evolutions came out! Also do platinums affect the melee game? My favorites are Chrysalin and Lancer
Platinums are fun in Melee! They count as a special Bakugan type like Ultras and Fusions, and therefore don't grant Bakucores for deck building. Full melee rules sheet here: i.imgur.com/hzeDptk.jpg
Please make unboxing & review video about Bakumorphs. Bakumorphs is similar to Deka Bakugan (big Bakugan) but it have more detailed parts & instead of transforming into the shape that is exactly same as its smaller counterpart, it transforms into a form that is more similar to its Bakugan form. Bakumorphs is so underrated even though it is actually cool. It currently have 5 characters : Dharak Hawktor Linehalt Neo Dragonoid Helix Dragonoid
Seeing the darkus dharak almost made me cry, mine accidentally got broke and the wings were beyond repair. I haven't seen one for 5 year or something like that, and it brought me joy to see one again lmao :D
What am I doing here? I should be studying for my college exams and not sit here and enjoy how this amazing guy passionately talks about collectible toys that are moving me to happy childhood memories. Anyway great video you have my subscribe.
I liked that "Yeah, Lot's of confusing hexagon simbols!" skit tbh Also, I love this channel, it really helps me keep up to date (even before they come out in my country haha), thanks for this video!
So, I dont actually know what happened, but youtube very abruptly started reccomending me bakugan stuff over this last week, including your stuff. I never really got into them when I was younger as, well, I was in highschool when they came out. BUT the newer designs and gameplay elements were standing out to me, I've been watching battles and stuff which is fun, even though I will probably never have a group to actually play games with. When I was shopping yesterday, I picked up a platinum sharktar and I actually really like just rolling it around and popping it open xD It feels really cool in my hand and its... heftier than I would have expected. I'm planning on getting a few more soon because they are just kinda... fun? So I just wanted to say thanks for the pretty informative videos, and I hope you do/record more showdowns in the near future! They are fun to watch and good to live vicariously through for people like me that dont actually have any folks to play with.
With the nanogan that have to ride upside down because of peg position, it almost seems like some kind of nanogan backpack. like, Riptide just sticks his claws through two big loops and just goes along for the ride, like someone put on a baby carrier backwards. It kinda adds to the lil guy aesthetic I think
First thought watching this video in the first 30 seconds:”Did you just open up a bakugan up with your bear hands? I’m hoping this isn’t how all of them open.”
Let me just say, both toolbox24 and game designer Gary are absolute G.O.A.T's, with out them, we would be in the dark for quite a while in terms of rules

They are really cute! I love Bakugan stuff you can just put together to make it look a little cooler.
I heard Arin Hanson's "riding on cars" quote and almost crapped myself. Such an amazing yet obscure clip
I had to create and reanimate that entire gag from scratch so I'm glad people like it lol
Loved it man, my favorite are probably any aquas or haos types
Jett here pulling the Spark Brushel look flawlessly.
I will eliminate you
Nice to see you back but I love nanogan and I agree with what you said at the beginning that it was always about the balls
I have not cared about Bakugan since I hyperfixated on them for a year when I was like 9, but these videos are so much fun to watch I can't stop
Well I mean they are keeping the other gimmick like Baku Gear and Geogan going pretty strong in 2022 and the Capstone set is just a Full Battle Pack with 6 Bakugan to have a Free Bakugan Battle for new kids with 4 Normal tier bakugan and 2 Ultra Rare bakugan that can be Any Attiblue need for the deck being Prisma dragonoid & his Enemy to rival him for this year!
Even though I only have 26 bakugan I still really like it and I’ve been telling all of my friends about your channel and bakugan.
Ayo thanks!
Your hairstyle surprised me more than nanogan
Nice Haircut lol
Finally Another Video!
Just imagine..
You've seen a Jett Kuso bakugan battle but get ready for.. a bakugan RAP battle 🎙🎶🎤
The best Jettkuso
Please make unboxing & review video about Bakumorphs.
Bakumorphs is similar to Deka Bakugan (big Bakugan) but it have more detailed parts & instead of transforming into the shape that is exactly same as its smaller counterpart, it transforms into a form that is more similar to its Bakugan form.
Bakumorphs is so underrated even though it is actually cool.
It currently have 5 characters :
Dharak
Hawktor
Linehalt
Neo Dragonoid
Helix Dragonoid
Imma be honest, nanogan really cute! So im just gonna by a heep to fidget with and to play with
Jett Kuso, YOU'RE my favorite little guy!
Aw shucks
Seeing the darkus dharak almost made me cry, mine accidentally got broke and the wings were beyond repair. I haven't seen one for 5 year or something like that, and it brought me joy to see one again lmao :D
What am I doing here? I should be studying for my college exams and not sit here and enjoy how this amazing guy passionately talks about collectible toys that are moving me to happy childhood memories. Anyway great video you have my subscribe.
I liked that "Yeah, Lot's of confusing hexagon simbols!" skit tbh
Also, I love this channel, it really helps me keep up to date (even before they come out in my country haha), thanks for this video!
Sir I haven't seen anything Bakugan related since I saw the original anime, and yet, I'm once again intrigued.
Eyo this is coming out on my birthday!
God i gotta get back into Bakugan
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday
Happy Birthday!!
Happy birthday
4:02 I just had the thought of Dan opening up Drago manually to perform surgery on his mechanical parts… Thanks.
Glad to see u back ur videos made me a bakugan battle brawler and new vestroia stan
They are fun to watch and good to live vicariously through for people like me that dont actually have any folks to play with.
wooo congratiolations for hittin' 100k and now im gonna subscribe
Love the fact, that the official toys went into an exact collor scheme of the legacy series' bootlegs :D
Jettkuso love the hair. I am watching this video for the first time and I want to collect them all
Love the channel and content would love to see more defiantly headed to the patrion when pay day hits
Ayy thanks so much
I have mini bakugan from when I was a kid. Probably 12+ years ago. My favorite was always my mini White and black dragon one.
Oh, Jett, you're my favorite little guy! 🤣
AW THANKS
With the nanogan that have to ride upside down because of peg position, it almost seems like some kind of nanogan backpack. like, Riptide just sticks his claws through two big loops and just goes along for the ride, like someone put on a baby carrier backwards. It kinda adds to the lil guy aesthetic I think
I'm not much of bakugan's toys but your videos are of such good quality.
People who just Open them and never close them cause it’s so cute and tiny?
They just seem like silly little guys. Everyone loves a silly little guy
Say it louder for the people in the back!
First thought watching this video in the first 30 seconds:”Did you just open up a bakugan up with your bear hands? I’m hoping this isn’t how all of them open.”
Let me just say, both toolbox24 and game designer Gary are absolute G.O.A.T's, with out them, we would be in the dark for quite a while in terms of rules
youre content has made me get back into bakugan thanks
YOOOOOOOO
I've been watching your videos since the first one for a couple of days. I will finish everything and then this video will come out YOOOO
Happy early birthday 🎂 🎂 🎉 🎉
I dont even play Bakugan yet I still watched the whole video
neat video! as i started to get impatient with it showing up it finally got done lol
btw, i really like that playmat, is there anyway we could get some for ourselves?
Eventually, yes there should be.
also: sucko my beloved…
I hate that I found this channel out of nowhere. I’ve never watched bakugan, never played bakugan, and I know absolutely nothing about bakugan. But I’m addicted to these videos and now I’m interested and I fear for my wallet lol
As a card game enjoyer. That collectors thing was like a personal attack man
