My daughter made me this heart and I loved it so much, she forwarded me your tutorial. I'm making a whole bunch to put aside as gifts. Your pincushion idea is great. Loads of fun.
I made 2 of this hearts, one pink and one blue for a couple as a symbol of friendship and caring. I'll be making more hearts to send to the frontliners we know, also as appreciation for their care in this sad times. Thanks a lot for your tutorial ♥️
I've made two hearts so far and just want to thank you for this tutorial? It was easy to follow you, and I plan on making more, LOL "that's what she said". Thanks again.
Love the heart, plan to make the loop bigger and attach to a lovely pair of embroidery scissors as a pin cushion xxx just like to mention i am 69 years old and although my mother taught me to knit, she could not crochet so neither could I. That is until I found you....thank you very much Pat xxx
+Pat Powell That is such a wonderful idea! I hope you won't mind if I borrow it :-) I also had an idea to try stuffing one with a dryer sheet to add scent to be used on a clothes hanger or in a dresser drawer. I will have to experiment with that idea, too!! :-)
Dearest +Pat Powell, I was truly touched by your sweet message. I was so amazed and thrilled that I could help you learn crochet. Love your idea of what you will do with the heart. Very sweet idea!. Much crochet love Olivia.
I loved your commentary and instructions, really easy and entertaining. I messed up a bit and should’ve tightened my stitches 😂but it was fun and I couldn’t help but crack a smile when you’d say that’s what she said 😂
Your timing on this video couldn't have been better, Olivia. I've been looking for a quick puffy heart pattern and wa-la! You deliver! Thanks for including the link to the written pattern, too. Love your videos. Thanks for all you do to make them.
I wanted to make one of these to send to my mother for mother's day, and I was struggling a lot until I found this video, thank you so much! I'm using soft, thick, baby yarn, so it's really soft.
My heart turned out super pretty :) Easily the prettiest crochet heart I have made. Your instructions are perfect. Very satisfied with the end result. Thank you :)
I really like how you've constructed this. Most 3d hearts start from the top or bottom or with a chain ring in the centre. The elongated V really emphasises the heart shape. Clever and pretty, I 💗 it!
British terms are different from US: she says double crochet 2:27 - she does mention this a couple of times in the video (Thank you Girlybunches for this) that is for us in Canada/US a single crochet. Great video (I tried someone else's yesterday and scrapped it) This one looks like it might just work for me. I keep adding to my comment: this is one of the best videos I have seen!
I made it it is now a beautiful heart Keychain. Thank you so much for sharing such a good and easy to do tutorial and very good and easy to follow explanation
Hi - Would like thank you for the pattern. I was following another video and was totally confused with it, I almost tried for 20 mins but couldn't understand. Then I came across your video which was easy to understand. And, I finally could make a lovely red heart. Thanks to you.
Thank you SO much! I've tried to do 5 other versions of a heart from other youtube videos and I just couldn't manage it (I am a *real* beginner!!). Yours was done very well, and for the most part I could follow exactly what to do. If you could point to every stitch a little slower, that would be helpful on the trickier areas, like that first time around the corner it was a little too quick for me to see where the stitch was that I was supposed to go into (I did seem to figure it out). Blessings :)
Hi Olivia, Thank you so much for this tutorial I am working on it now, sorry I haven't thanked you sooner sadly I've been having a catch up with my old friend depression, but crochet and gardening keep me going. Have a lovely Christmas and a wonderful new year. All the best Tracy. x
+Tracy Brobyn Oh Tracy, yes those unexpected catch ups! Hope you're old friend leaves you a lone for a bit. Crochet and gardening sound like wonderful distractions. I long to have a garden that I can potter about in.. and crochet in with a nice pot of tea of course. No need to thank me, I take pleasure in knowing you liked the video :)
