If you are going to teach these very basic steps, then you should realize that we new beginners are not good at judging the size of our picots, and maybe you should use a guage while teaching us.
Thank you for your comments. In my opinion, each person is different. Every person learns differently and every person teaches differently. Tatting is not an exact science. I have never used a picot gauge. I learned how to make consistent picots by practicing. A lot. I would suggest practicing to find your own style and method, a way to make things that you are happy with. I appreciate your constructive criticism on my teaching method but hope that everyone will view learning how to tat as the adventure that it is. Thank you for watching. 🙂
