  • I have a couple of different setups for the type of work I do whether its framing a wall, building a deck, or doing finish trim. It is hard to have just one toolbelt so I have two. One mainly for framing and the other for finish trim. I do load the framing belt a little different depending on the task at hand. I will say though the occidental is my favorite so far. It is durable and will last a really long time. But buy what you can afford and work your way up to a nicer setup! #handyman #servicecall #framing #carpenter #finishcarpenter #diy #toolbelt #handtools #framer

The only two things I hate about my tool belt are: Just like you show, it spills out whenever I finish the job and put it in my truck (usually tired and hate messing with it). And, it gets hot af unless it winter time here in Texas. I usually just carry everything in a tote with the bar handle across the middle, and my drill bag separately. But I definitely take more time by not wearing the belt. Depends on the job too I guess.

Yeah same here depends on the job. A deck I wear it all day. Repairs I bring it in the house but don't wear it. I have it on a hook in my van and it seems to not spill out

I have same oxy setup. The suspenders do break in after a bit and then they feel great. I didnt like them at first. It took a few months of wearing them everyday though.
