A song first featured by Neil on the Christmas Special of Rutland Weekend Television in 1975 when it was used in a skit spoofing the Who’s rock opera ‘Tommy’ (called ‘Pommy’). This time around, Neil plays a no-account punk until he joins the army and returns to his parents not only as a man, but also as a soldier.
