Your mock scrapes are amazing. I tell all my buddies to use them and finally get them to do it after I show them trail cam videos and or videos I take from the stand. They always say. I got a rope I can use or what scent do I use. They just can’t understand that it’s so much easier than that

There is a 10acre field on a hilltop that has grown up over the years with smaller trees reclaiming the field with scrapes scattered throughout the original field edge where deer are in mild cover from where the trees are growing sparsely then a smaller one acre field around 150 yards from the other being reclaimed by trees as well with 3 scrapes in tight succession. With that many scrapes on the same field I would think they would have to visit some of them during the day around 15 scrapes in total. Public land(not heavily hunted)

These mock scrapes are absolutely epic! I started creating them two years ago and they start hitting them almost immediately! I love all of your content, I have learned so much! Thank you!

I started using the vine scrapes years ago after watching your videos. Man, I've got some great camera footage on them and killed some big bucks using them. I started carrying a small cordless drill with me to drill a hole through the top of the vine. I run the rope through that hole, then tie that in a knot. Then I tie the other end to the branch above. I started doing this after some of my vines slipped out of the knots I tied them with. This never happens anymore!!

Never used them till about 2 years ago and it has made a huge difference with my trail cameras and getting to survey deer. quite a few people in my area would have never tried it if they didn't see it work for me on Colombian blacktail probably one of the most useful things I've ever need to know when it comes todeer

Our season ended the 7th here in Indiana. My cousin Jason and I hunted up at the farm last 2 days, we saw so many does, yearlings that we lost count plus 10-12 bucks. We knew we'd see a bunch or none because they were getting ready to yard up for winter. Mostly young ones but a couple of them were big boys. My scrapes were well used.
Also, it was cool to see our mock scrapes open back up after the first rut was about over as they had been covered with leaves. I bought a gently used 300 gallon tank for fifty bucks. I've already picked a great spot, and i have a Cat mini excavator! Love it when i get to use it on my own projects. Well its all just like you said it would be..thanks

I truly seen the branch bring a buck from 50 yards away from the December pattern he was on trails they started using away from this branch and he made a point to stop following the does to come over and use it .. and the does on the way past that did decide to use the trail stopped for a second on it as well and it felt good to know it made a difference and learned it from Jeff . They was using a full brush trail and when I put this out and peed on it twice before I left with in a week it brought them from that brush to start using another trail that would pass this branch ... Truly works and I appreciate Jeff sharing the tip

Love your vine setup! A couple of years ago I started started doing the same thing thanks to you. So many bucks and doe hit mine throughout the year. I set my cams high also and jam a stick behind it for a better angle. People think I'm crazy but some deer are camera shy. I'm not taking a chance.

I hunt on 100 acre farm. If you were to seperate it into quarters front to back, we see different bucks in each section and they don’t crossover. Is that normal?

My thoughts are with rubs?A lot of them are made when a buck is following a hot doe and is frustrated 🤷🏻

Do you generally only use branches/vines native to the area? Could I bring a vine from southern WI and bring it up north to Antigo area?

Jeff… Do you find it better to use a vine even in say northern Michigan, where there are no vines present by nature, does a mature, buck even realize that that is not natural to its surroundings?
