This game perfectly encapsulates American TV dramas like Buffy, Angel and other Vampire/Monster television and films from the time. The look, feel, music and everything.

This track is used in the unofficial patch I believe. I've heard it in game, I am sure of it.
Edit: i believe it is used in the tutorial, which is honestly one of, if not, the best tutorial segment i have ever played through.
It’s used too in bloodlines2 in Seattle downtown, I mean I am sure of it!
Actually it is the theme at Downtown in the unofficial patch, I'm very very sure its not in the tutorial.

I used the Unofficial Patch and didn't heard it in-game. I guess that's because I didn't choose to install Patch Extras.
@@jozinek876 yes it only comes with the unofficial patch plus, the normal version doesn't add anything new.
I think they didn't use it because it sounds a bit like Giovanni's theme. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Never played this game but I've seen it suggested on UA-cam for years now. Went and tried it out. Sure it's old and janky, but I gotta say I can see how people were literally falling in love with it back in the day. This game deserves a real remaster and not that Bloodlines 2 crap we're currently getting.
I think a remaster would be really hard to pull off
@@AdrianskiASMR I'd be happy if they just improved the graphics, fixed some bugs and maybe replaced cut content. It sounds like modders were legitimately in the process of doing just that for a fan-made remaster but they got a cease and desist.
@@JohnnyRico118 well that makes sense. Still, what I meant is that the charm and the vibe come from the limitations of the time.. not sure if a remaster would keep the amazing ambience. But a good art director can do anything

@@gf7szega Két regényem van igazából, az egyik a játék történetére alapul, csak van benne egy kis csavar, plusz romantikus szál... A másikban is van romantikus szál, de ott tök más a történet, és VTMB lévén van benne gyilkosság is, dráma és akciójelenet is. Nem tudom, így is érdekel? :) LaCroixt mennyire kedveled? :D

awesome. i play this in the background while reading the VTM IFs (that many have probably never heard of). creates a nice atmosphere in combination with the story 🖤

For sure. Even if all the challenges have left it in a weakened state, I imagine updates and mods could solve much. Worst-case scenario is they scrap it entirely.
@@justusbowman The problem is that while the original Bloodlines came in an alpha state, the most important aspects, characters, atmosphere, progression and story were intact despite its development hell. Bloodlines 2 on the other hand, has all its story and characters removed from its original version since both Avellone and Mitsoda got hacked out and their work alongside them, what's left is a probably half baked missmatch of ideas that might have pretty graphics and nice gameplay, but the main core of the experience, is something that will more then likely be not there.
While Mods can fix the issues in the long run, it will take the comunity years upon years and even then, they might never fulfill the original intent on the game. For instance with Bloodlines 1 most of the quest once unfinished, got into a final playable stage with the Unofficial Patchs because Avellone and Mitsoda openly cooperated with Wesp5 in their implementation. Something Bloodlines 2 will not have.
