Me and my siblings were born in the early 1950s, our mother was a smoker through her pregnancies plus alcohol was not thought a problem either and was even encouraged to calm your nerves as was smoking, stout was thought a great health tonic.
Julian Fellowes is famous for it. He lifted an entire sub plot from Mrs Miniver. He does admit to it and he adds in lots of things that really happened in real life he’s researched.
I know! Agree…but I don’t think it’s his fault. If I understand it right, Juan gets a have cent ( something like that) and utube gets all the rest. They make big money and the content creators don’t unless you have a huge audience
