Thanks so much for the tutorial. though one thing I do diffrently (not like you did anything wrong) when their capital gets captured, I just make the invasion go faster by like 10x instead of making the country surrender, also sometimes I look at a geographical map to make it more realistic
The capital thing depends on the situation, jf the government evacuates theres a low chance of surrender for me, but if the government is still in the city they automatically surrender, well thats how i like to do it, mostly though i dont like the auto surrender thing, it just makes my mapping feel a lil lazy you know?
ive been doing mapping for 2 years, most of the projects i made were left out, while a small part of it made into youtube. and i never seen that kind of attacking style since i draw of an attacker getting a large chunk of the defender (or the other way). this might be useful in my new series that will come up on youtube :D

I wouldn’t think france would go for a spearhead option, I think hey would kinda try encircling the Capital so more troops doesn’t defend get transported to defend it (I’m talking about the south, not bern.) and I think swizterland wouldn’t really surrender instantly, they could make a militarist type government and fight to the last man or just surrender after a bit more battles (just a tip, you don’t have to do this)

I suggest to make two layer make one for border and one for color under the lines
