    @chosen1atWork This is why studying ancient cultures is so very important. Most people assume their own personal cultural perspectives on the Biblical text. We think of a "family range" as a tract of land local to the main house. She ranchers may be out in the field all day, but home for dinner. This is not how the family ranges worked in the middle east. There, they would be gone for months at a time and range hundreds of miles from home, that, by definition, is a nomad.

    The 7th Century BC Tel Dan Inscription specifically mentions "melek yisrael" (king of Israel) and "beyt david" (house of david). In addition, the 7th Century BC Meshe Stele mentions "beyt david" (house of david). Doesn't sound to fictitious to me.

    how do you figure David was a nomad? yes, he tended the flocks, but his family was based in a permanent dwelling (bethleham). There is a BIG different between being a nomad and overseeing flocks on a family range.

    Mr. Benner, if we were to focus on your lessons that the hebrew language and text is concrete in nature, and not abstract, we might gather other useful data in understanding the culture of hebrews like solomon - the text plainly reads.. Dark am I... if we are to take this literally this phrase in the song is an affirmation of qualitative fact. I am dark, like a black tent covering essentially..
    Mr. Benner please take into consideration that if you wish to truly understand the culture and being of these peoples including potentially understanding who their living decendants are on this earth today, it will be important to mull over these clues hidden throughout text as literall affirmations of the skin color of these peoples.. much like the color of burnt bronze.

    • @ancienthebreworg
      @ancienthebreworg  6 років тому +1

      Thank you for your informative and respectful post. In my opinion, the skin color of the Hebrews is kind of irrelevant, for two reasons. First, I don't think it has an impact in any way how one interprets the Bible. Secondly, the Hebrew people were not as concerned about "appearance," as they were about "function" (I think a lot of people could benefit from this perspective :-).

      @@ancienthebreworg your welcome and thank you for you response. I believe conversation is the best way for us. I disagree with you however for a couple of reasons. First... Lexicons amd geneology. Understanding a language and it's sounds are correlated to its culture. That culture is correlated to their region, traditions, migrations and parent geneology. Being able to visualize a being good they appear is determining factor in one's perceptions of them and their varying characteristics. Furthermore it provides valuable information alongside prophecy like that found in Daniel, as to where the generations of these tribes are now. An unwillingness to examine race in a conduct where race has been voluntarily misrepresnted in popular imagery for years not only disrupts an accurate view of the culture you seek to understand, it represents a mind closed to potential facts...truth which could reframe world views dramatically

      And to be direct... it's not possible for someone to imagine a person... with no race. Focus and perception are not the same I'm addresding identity here.

      @@christopherbooker6079 I agree, if race wasn't important, then why did christianity whiten the Hebrews? Why do they contrary to todays knowledge still depict egyptians as semi-white? Until the 15/16th century the church still knew that Hebrews were black, hence the many black madonnas with a black child as statues and pictures. Knowing that the vast majority of humans as of today are not white, and that the whitening of whole countries came through forced emigration of the white minority, one can only wonder about the notion that Jesus was supposed to have been white, totally disregarding the Bible describing him as having wooly hair (nappy) and bronze (dark brown) feet.

    I am curious.. i hear alot of talk about the isrealites being nomads and tent dwellers and such.. but correct me if i am wrong, how much of that is really true after the exodus? many dwelt in cities after the settlement, and except for the book of genesis, the people were not nomadic... at least not any more as they had land in their name in the family territory. nomads do not have fixed dwellings.. at least not that i understand.

    • @christofferraby4712
      @christofferraby4712 Рік тому

      You are quite correct that they became less nomadic after the Exodus and built towns and cities; however the people involved in raising sheep and goats even if they dwelt in houses would lead a semi nomadic lifestyle in order to graze their flocks.

    speaking of most Tanakh figures being nomads/shepherds (the shepherd thing relates to Processional Astrological/Astronomical Ages as one learns from Ralph Ellis) modern migrational statistics as they stand as I understand : 1/25 Christians live in a country other than where they were born; 1/20 Muslims; 1/4 Jews. top migrants!

    There was a great Sumerian king who was extraordinarily gifted and full of statecraft.
    In his time 2 popular literary works existed the Tigi and the Zamzam Hymns also called the cir-Gida. They were great sweeping stories of adventure and intrigue depicting mythologically the adventures of their characters against the rich background of Sumerian and Akkadian origins from the powers and kingdoms in outer space.
    Shulgi decided to write a story/ song which was better and far more entertaining than these but which drew on and referenced the same background events and ideas. His characters were designed to be more accessible and appealing.
    Considering the Tigi as written by a cuneiform scribe called Asimovil and the Zamzam as by A C Clarki, which are works like the technology based I Robot, and the Foundation Triilogy , Shulgi planned to write a cross between a Star Wars/Star Trek epic and a Tolkien / Harry Potter saga with a smattering of The Matrix.
    With the aid of his advisors and collaborators, alongside these his many duties, he set out his drama in a 12 fablet Edition(Astrahasi,Enuma Elish and Gilgamesh).
    It proved a triumph among the court elite who could afford a copy. It was especially well received when it was performed as a set of plays/ song cycles, with the audience showing eagerness to dress up in identification and emulation of the characters. Its success spread its influence throughout the kingdom.
    Soon if was translated into many languages fur the instruction, and education of neighbouring kin's and their kingdoms. Changes in translation and characterization were made to suit local customs and traditions to translate its popularity to them.

    A millennia later Terah and his family including Abram left the cities and lands once ruled by Shulgi, and moved towards Assyrian lands. Shulgi's stories / song cycles by then had degenerated into a farcical version giving license to a megalomaniacal insanity . To keep his family safer Terah moved, bringing with him knowledge of the older traditions of the Tigi(YHWH) and the Zamzam. It is thought that Terah may have belonged to an astrological family who observed the moon , but in any case did not subscribe to the commonly held views of a divine pantheon of warring gods as fictionalised by Shulgi's epic.
    The TIgi told only of one Igigi or divine Constructor of the earth, sung about in the Tigi.

    Terah Harran, Abram
    ua-cam.com/video/-ygSDL7qdvA/v-deo.html
    Shulgi had imagined many more who were annihilated by the Annunaki in a Great War leaving Shulgi's familiy gods in the victors position over one Igigi (YHWH), the god sung of in the Tigi using some musical instrument given the same name.
    From Harran YHWH called Abram to move to Canaan, where the full extent of Shulgi's twisting of the story was made clear to him, by a journey into Egypt.
    The Egyptians as part of a vast continental family now called Africa, had retained similar records of the T'igi in their languages and traditions. They also were great city builders and astrologers and were a continent of plentiful vegetation seas , lakes and rivers which supported civilised agriculture.
    From the Knowledge of the priests and elders of that Land Abram found the correct understanding of the ancient history and the boundary of the influence of the GodKings of Sumerian, and a technology and wisdom equal to the Sumerian's.
    It turned out later that in the America's and the lands of India and Indonesia, into Indonesia China the same story was repeated with more or less elaboration. Abram accepted the skeletal bare bones version and this is one reason why Tigi chose him to be the rootstock of the rebuilt Kingdom of Igigi(YHWH).

    @ancienthebreworg ....but that would not apply to the israelites after the exodus.. the tribes were given territories and whatever they did would be inside those territories.. and not 100's of miles either... their home would be in a permanent place while the shepard may be out with the sheep for a week or so.. with a permanent home base, that is NOT the definition of a nomad.. the definition is the home moving with them....

    The Tagalog language was almost obliterated by the Spanish colonialism.
    see even before Jesus Christ was born in human form it is written in the the book of Isaiah that the earth is round - a fact later proven by mankind thousands of years after the book was written.

    At the beginning of this video about Yeshayahu(Isaiah) 40:22, you weren't consistent with the principle of Abrytic("Hebraic") philosophy/thought(the thought about function rather than the thought about appearance).
    Although your explanation of the similar appearance of "the holes of a tent and the stars in the night sky" is logically coherent in and of itself, it does not correspond to the Abrytic philosophical principle you explained nor is it absolutely applicable because your explanation of appearance doesn't apply to the day sky/the sky during the day.
    The author didn't specify "only the night sky". It was a general statement about the heavens above the earth(regardless of the appearance of the heavens during day or night).
    The correct explanation(consistent with the Abrytic philosophical principle of function rather than appearance, and with the truth of reality) is the author was explaining that "the heavens"/the sky functions the same way as a tent, and has a similar appearance(a semi-spherical, strong, sturdy covering above the ground/earth and the inhabitants thereof).
    Just as the tent is a tangible/physical/material barrier sitting above the dwellers on the ground below it, sitting in between and separating what is below the tent from what is outside of the tent, "the heavens"/ the sky does the same; sitting in between the waters above the dome/"firmament" and the waters below the dome; separating the waters above/outside the dome from the waters below/inside the dome, spread over the earth and the seas.
    This passage among hundreds of others is teaching and prooving the flat earth cosmos.
    The earth is not a humongous ball flying through an infinitely spacious vacuum. The Earth is flat/level. The earth and the seas are encompassed by a wall of ice. With a solid dome over the earth and the seas. With the sun, moon, and stars in the solid dome. With waters above, and outside the solid dome. All of which is set on pillars. With YAHUAH the Almighty god dwelling outside all of this in the highest heaven, maintaining and sustaining everything.
    May YAHUAH be with you in the name of YAHUSHA the anointed one.

    This is laughable... His genealogy is clearly listed all the way back to Adam. I have to assume you're referring to Ruth who wasn't a Moabite, but even if she was that wouldn't make David a Moabite since genealogy is determined by the seed which is of the father, not the mother as the synagogue of Satan believe.

    • @christopherbooker6079
      @christopherbooker6079 6 років тому

      I wasn't aware that people track geneology solely through the mother. I was under the impression that the more common method thes days was to track family lineage through both parents, as that is a more accurate and comprehensive understanding of someones genetic makeup. Furthermore I have not seen in any scripture a commandment to track the bloodline of a human by either parent specifically, what you are refering to is not diving rule, but a cultural practice which isn't currently dated.. this is especiall important when understanding the tribal bloodline of the mashiac who is claimed to come from the line of king david.. which is NOT his mothers... who reportedly is the only BLOOD DONOR in his genetic makeup. HIS claim to David's lineage is made through his "father" Yusef, who'm, immaculate conception granted, cannot be the actual father.
      This means something has got to give.. food for thought.. in order to bring some clarity to your reasoning - What would you do with the affirmation that Yashua/Yahusha (the mashiac) is of the King David's patronage when he is clearly not.

    israel is not big enough for hundreds of miles to roam, and each tribe had their 'borders' inside israel. The most nomadic of them, Abraham, still stayed inside the 'borders' of israel except when he went to egypt. What the rest of the arab world does is no concern to me, only what the jews did. I suppose next you were be telling me all the jews were originally black?
