I know this is gonna sound really weird but when I was 18 years old I took a job in Providence town for some reason I was thinking about it today wondering if there was any videos of commercial Street. To my surprise there was and I’m 62 years old now I just want to say thank you it brought back such happy memories and I can’t believe the time has gone by so quickly.
So glad you enjoyed the video! Many people who watch my videos say the same thing - it brings back memories of 'back in the day'. I love to hear that. (yeah, time sure does fly by!)
Hi my friend!!👋👋 My daughter will go to Brewster Massachusetts near Cape Cop in winter 2023 as J1 (cultural - labor exchange)....She can't get cheap housing....😒Do you know how I could do it or advice or any information? Thanks and greetings from Argentina!!
Hi. Cape Cod is a nice part of Massachusetts. It's also a summer tourist area. Unfortunately, housing is very expensive here. In the winter, that part of Cape Cod is much quieter. Maybe you could find a winter 'off season' rental.
I lived in Ptown from October 2008 through June of '09, on conwell street. It was such a special experience. Being there off season was magical. I miss it so much. Towards the end of my time there, I got lost in the dunes. Ended up being rescued! Almost spent a rainy night alone in there with the coyotes.
Yeah, there's something about a 'summer town' in the off-season. Watch out for them coyotes! I saw them casually walking along the parking lot at Herring Cove this summer. Actually, I see them walking down the street late at night right here in the Boston area.
I'm so glad you liked it. I'm planning to be on the Cape and ptown this weekend and was thinking of doing another video on Commercial St., but this time maybe on Friday or Saturday night.
First of all, thanks for doing these! I’ve really enjoyed watching some of your many Boston drive/walk videos the last month or two. It’s very interesting to see what P-Town was like last summer. I was there for a couple of weeks during the previous summer (2019) and it’s pretty crazy to see it that empty on a summer day (even with the rain).
I also did a video (Road Trip) where I walked down Commercial St at night. I recorded it on a Friday night (9-11-20). It was busier than I expected anyway. The beach at HC was much quieter and there were generally always parking available, but on weekends, it was really lively out on HC. It felt totally normal out there. No masks, no distancing, nothing. Glad you like the videos. I'll definitely keep making them!

Love Provincetown! Had my first ever lobster roll there.
On a COLD January night, it's always good to think about Provincetown in summertime. 😀👍

Thank you for this lovely video. I wasn't able to make it to PTOWN this summer. The video is a wonderful reminder of why I love PTown.

Terrific idea. I look forward to it.
