I was just 8 years old playing it and my once innocent mind was completely opened up about the horrors of the real world. It changed me positively because I was no longer nearly as ignorant about the world and the evil that exists but at the same time it did make me wish that I never found out about them. Its a game I found myself completely immersed in and couldn't take my eyes off of the horror like art and graphics and the stories that were told with each character you picked. As someone who grew up with Narcissistic parents I related to the gritty, dark, unforgiving world that was in that game with my own and it weirdly gave me comfort.

Very cool picks. I would definitely agree with Silent Hill 2 and GTA 3, i've never played State of Emergancy, SSX Tricky or Prince of Persia so I can't comment on those but Prince of Persia is definitely on my list to try. My top 10 would be Burnout, Gran Turismo 3, Timesplitters 2, Midnight Club 3, Resident Evil Code Veronica X, Ratchet and Clank, Devil May Cry, Theme Park World, GTA 3 and Silent Hill 2.
Many thanks for the video. Silent hill 2 got me into gaming, absolutely epic game with major nostalgia. I still play this on my gdpwinmax2 which I can play anywhere.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 is iconic for me! Love the series, have played it for decades. 3 was my first introduction to the series (outside of a demo of 1 and 2 I remember playing). It was my first PS2 game I experienced. The coolest thing about that game was how all the levels feel alive and filled with colorful characters. I was blown away when I first experienced it. The music and the sound effects are imprinted into my brain! It's in my top 5 favorite games ever, ever, ever!
Agreed on SSX Tricky! My list would have Marvel vs Capcom 2, Fight Night, Katamari, VF4, Burnout Revenge, Capcom vs SNK 2, Street Fighter 3, Tekken Tag and KOF 11. I honestly think the GC and XB had much stronger libraries in terms of exclusive games that generation.
Nothing but the fondest memories for Resident Evil and Silent Hill. My dear friend and I would play them all together in the dark. He’s since passed on, but I’ll always cherish the fright and wonder we shared during those long riveting sessions.
Snake eater was a next level game changer. Remember buying it from Woolworths day one. Still incredible even today. Those boss battles were so cinematic and epic!
Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, Shadow Of The Colusses, Tekken Tag Tournament, Simpsons Hit and Run, MGS3, Project Zero 3, Tomb Raider Legend and ICO!! (So many) but these games were the ones I’d frequently go back to to replay all the time.
The launch of the ps1 is probably my favourite time in gaming, I remember seeing wipeout and tekken on a TV in dixons and the leap in visuals from the 16bit consoles was incredible. I didn't actually pick one up till a bit later because I had to save up my paper round money lol
I didnt play resident evil 4 until I got the switch and it blew me away. That game is timeless, I feel like I could play it in 60 years and still have fun
Just seeing THPS3 took me back, especially how smooth it felt. But nearly all games on PS2 had a strange buttery smoothness to them in their control and animation. They never felt floaty though. I think this "PS2 butter" is why it's so fondly remembered, it all felt so accessible - especially compared to the PS1s jankiness and the realism of motion and animation of the PS3 onwards.
amazing list! loved each one of these myself! I'm 35 so played these quite young. and I'm also from Nottingham so we had similar experiences! I use to go to game in Victoria centre a lot too! just discovered your channel and defo subscribing!
My top 15: Final Fantasy X, MGS3, GTA SA, Tekken 5, Syphon Filter Omega Strain, SmackDown vs Raw (2007), Tomb Raider Legend, Final Fantasy 12, Soul Calibur 3, SOCOM, Naruto Ultimate Ninja, The Getaway, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, The Sims. I didn't play a lot of PS2 games and I was very careful about which one to buy. I also had to sell some PS1 games to be able to afford new games which was sad at that time.
Had RE4, SH2, GTA 4 (can not remember if I had GTA 3), JackA$$: The Game, Bully, and many many others.. PS1 and PS2 was the consoles I enjoyed in my life.
For me the best games of that era were - ICO, Silent Hill 2, Ratchet & Clank, Project Zero, Jak and Daxter, Beyond Good And Evil, Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, Psychonauts and Return To Castle Wolfenstein. On the other systems they were , Halo, Metroid Prime 1,2 & 3, Resident Evil (2002) and Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4; Plus all the 3d Zelda games from Ocarina of Time onwards!
RE4 is still so good. I personally prefer it on the Gamecube. I remember as young teen being in the Virgin Store on Oxford Street London around the launch of the game. They had Gamecube kiosks all around and a huge mountain of the hilarious chainsaw controllers all stacked up in the middle. I played it and my new mission in life was to get a Gamecube.
So many great games. I would be tempted to say memories but most of the games on the list are timeless and still enjoyed by thousands of people today. Timesplitters 2 anyone?
Good memories of Nottingham games shops. Do you remember electronic boutique and gamestation in the square plus virgin megastores? More recently playtime in broadmarsh was great.
Oooh. I still play a lot of PS2, mostly just Time Crisis 2 and OutRun 2006 these days but for the games that really hit back in the day, there are many! But none more so than Shadow Of The Colossus. Sparse, exciting, enthralling and expansive; nothing since has inspired that gnawing guilt that you really are not the 'good guy'. I still remember my first takedown of Valus, the first colossus. The personal triumph I felt as the incredible score had spent minutes heroically swelling for my efforts... Then Valus goes down and even before being back at the shrine and seeing that this was all a bit suspect, having watched this majestic beast that I attacked for minding its own business die, quickly dampened my satisfaction. Incredible game! Other than that, as before mentioned Time Crisis 2,best game in the series and the best arcade driving game of OutRun 2006 (though, any of the various versions of OutRun 2 are brilliant) were always on rotation. Add to that Gradius V, R-Type Final, Devil May Cry, Everything Or Nothing, Capcom vs SNK 2, Zone Of The Enders 2, all of the PS2 Ace Combat games...
0:48 You really should try it in VR ... it's incredible on the Oculus Quest 2 - unbelievable!. I hope and pray that it gets a release on the PS VR2 as well in the near future
Brilliant vid, had some great times with my PS2. A game that really sticks with me is SSX, which was the first (and only) game I got with my PS2. I couldn’t even afford a memory card, so had to start from scratch each time 😂 Another one is Ridge Racer V, which was the next game I got along with a much needed memory card!
GTA San Andreas was the reason I saved up all of my lunch money just to buy a PS2, and from there the rest was history! After that it was just Need for Speed, Call of Duty, SOCOM, OKAMI, SSX series, Midnight Club 3 and a vast library of other classics! It ultimately led me to getting a job at EB Games (Canadian ver. of Game Stop) which was a dream job for me in high school!
There are a lot of games, but Gran Turismo 3 made me hunger for a PlayStation 2. One of my cousins had the Gran Turismo 3 bundle, and the game blew my mind. I just kept picking up the case and looking it over repeatedly. Still have my copy of the game, and GT4. And of course, the GTA games, which I'd play with my printouts of cheats sitting next to me. And of course, I gotta mention the first video game that I've ever purchased, that being Medal of Honor: Rising Sun.
wuz a uber awesome collection of high profile games in your list! it most definitely leads to all of the best games to play on the ps2 and for the future! and as usual, was a very great video put together by you, always a very great time to see what yuh got going on. stay safe!
Never got around to playing Silent Hill 2. Hard to believe being a survival horror fan. Back then PS2 was killing it with games, Gran Turismo 3, MGS2, GTA3, FFX, Onimusha, even Code Veronica came to PS2. Red Faction... Half Life... I was so overwhelmed I skipped SH2. Eventually I will play it one day.
Games I remember are Mark of Kri (you should really play it if you haven't), Shadow of the Colossus, Dead to Rights, Metal Gear Snakeeater, God of War 2 and GTA Vice City was my favorite on the Ps2.
It's always tough for me to pick between 10 and 7. I have beaten FF7 more so I would probably say I enjoy that one more. I will always remember when I got my ps2 for Christmas as a kid though and I got gta 3 with it. It was so mindblowing to go from the 2d gta games on ps1 to 3d gta on ps2. It's a shame my kid will never experience the greatness of the ps1 or ps2 era.
Good to see State of Emergency get a shoutout that was so much fun, Soul Calibur 3 was my fave as you could create characters, including Reg T Spoon, the posh ninja with a monocle!
Soul Calibur 2 and 3 I spent to many hours playing.. Time Splitters 2 and 3 loads of hours spent on single player campaign but even more hours spent on 4 player death match and capture the flag etc on a large projector 📽️ screen..
Great video full of nostalgia. I had to sub. Silent Hill 2 is definitely a masterpiece.' One of the best games ever. To me Vice City is the best GTA. Actually I didn't bought my own PS2 until maybe 2006, but I had played my friend's consoles before that. I had a GameCube and I still absolutely love it. I played Sands Of Time and THPS games on GC. I was also a broke ass person back then, but when you're young and don't have kids who rely on you bringing the food to the table, you don't really have to worry about secondary stuff like food. Games always came first. I learned to survive with very little money. Paying rent and electricity is important, though, cause where are you going to play the games and store them if you don't have a home?
During PS2 heyday I was Xbox man, I remember playing Dead Or Alive 3 and WWE RAW 2. 1 of my friends had Silent Hill 2 for Xbox, so played that 1 as well. I currently own PS5 and yesterday finished Resident Evil 4: Remake. I'm now playing Alan Wake: Remastered.
Alex Kidd on the master system was my first taste of gaming i got my master system at Christmas and i still remember it like it was yesterday, and must admit ffx has to be my favourite
I got dumped, i dropped out of college and then I lost my job. I was on a one way ticket to Turd Town. Then a mini miracle happened. I signed on and they decided I was entitled a 250 back payment. Which was just enough to buy a PS2 and GTA3. Glory days ❤😂
I have memories of everything from the early 80's onward from the Acorn Electron to arcades mid 80's to Atari St to 16 bit consoles and so on including pc and every handheld and console until just before PS4 where I went full pc apart from Nintendo. I love my memories of experiences that I had at the time from each computer or console but they are just that memories. I tried replaying old games and it's not the same and 3d games especially age like spoilt milk especially without a crt. My mum is now bed ridden and I'm her carer 24/7 so I have minimal game time now so I'll be playing modern great looking games on my pc instead of living in the past which is not good for your health. The past was great but it's just that, in the past. No playing of old games will get you back to those times, I've tried, it's like wishing you did this or that in the past, it's gone, time to let go and move on.
Silent Hill 2 happens to be the most recent xbox game I completed again in these past few weeks, I don't treasure it as much as Breakdown and SH 4 in terms of story experience, stress relieving and eeriness and long-lasting fond memories but it is up there. Funny because I forgot I completed it which goes to prove we always have the urge to return to these games and it's mostly the hauntingly beautiful music and atmosphere that makes me go back, it's the kind of game you want to play when you want to disappear from the real world for a while. The moving of the shape with a colored pattern on it that reveals a room behind you really blew my mind, the game haunts it's players by psychologically assessing them too to give you a specific ending so strong will power and attention to detail is key. I got In The Water ending which is for self destructive players who can't accept reality and keep obsessively searching for Mary while forgetting about your own life and the game does a very good job at reeling you in which is why you need to outsmart it. I got super pumped after completing the main scenario when I found out that a sub scenario became available Born from a wish where you get to play as Maria, it must be only on the greatest hit version
Resident evil 4 and sands of time were GC introductions to me. Tekken 5, mgs2, onimusha, okami, silent hill 2 were big hitters for me on ps2. My all time favourites were missed by Gemma. They are God if war 1 and 2, Burnout 2, Ico and Shadow of the colossus. If your interested in any of the ps2 titles see if they have hd remakes on ps3 as they will be 60hz ntsc versions and superior to the ps2 Pal versions. I am going for all the HD remakes on ps3. Burnout 2 BTW is so so good, even xbox owners couldn't believe the graphics. I have the USA edition it's 480p, silky smooth and really worth it. I haven't played any ratchet or jaxter games. That needs to change.
Man this video is getting me having to comment alot! It was fun hearing you talk about your memories with FFX and had me remember I had friend that 100% completed the game, which meant getting all of the Aeons for Yuna, I remember him showing me them and it was the most badass thing i had ever seen. Funny story, before all this, my and this same friend got FFIX at launch, well really I bought it cos he was poor, and i said he could start playing the game when i finished the first disc (there was 4 discs) and I would be about 1 disc ahead of him the whole time. Anyway this guy was such a fiend lol He beat disc 1 way before I was done with disc 2. He kept nagging me every day, "you done with disc 2 yet? you done yet? cmon hurry up!" etc. any was I think i got to disc 3 and gave him disc 2 and it happened again so he got fed up and bought the game. Probably begged his ass to get it lol
I bought my PS2 from Dixons in Sheffield in 2002. I got it with Final Fantasy 10 & GTA Vice City. I don't think I'll ever buy a new console with two classics like that ever again.
I wanted to like this, I wanted to say: Here's finally a unique channel but, then I saw this. Maybe this is why you have a UA-cam Channel with 16K views and more subscribers but one word comes to mind when I saw this list: Trendy. This is the same list you're going to find from most gamers of the PS2 world. The only game I saw otherwise was Prince of Persia. Everything else, felt like: WE CAN PLAY TOO kind of stuff. Ergh..... It's the same list regurgitated out by a different content creator, but, again, maybe that's what UA-cam success is about blending in and being part of the crowd, rather than the anti-establishment. Someone on here listed: Haunting Ground, brilliant! VIEWTIFUL JOE, anyone? "Not playin around. Henshin-a-gogo baby!" And a sequel with Viewtiful Joe 2. It felt like a next gen Comix Zone. DEVIL MAY CRY contributed a lot to gaming. The Hack-n-Slash genre pretty much exists because of this series. Ninja Gaiden Black, God of War, Bayonetta, Castlevania, Dante's Inferno owe it all to DEVIL MAY CRY. XENOSAGA. Everyone goes to Final Fantasy X, but Namco had talent too. Enter XENOSAGA continuing former Squaresofts Xenogears. This series has depth unlike any other and has continued on. Strangely not on PlayStation consoles anymore, it still lives on through Nintendo with the Xenoblade series now. RATCHET & CLANK. PlayStation may have lost Crash Bandicoot, but they kept this gem and wouldn't let it go. Insomniac even sold Spyro at the suggestion of Mark Cerny (when he was running Universal Interactive) but Sony wouldnt let this go. This series has never had to rely on cheap humor, it's always well written with intelligent humor. OKAMI - Yes, there's a running theme, but that's because Capcom nailed it consistently during that generation. Nothing like this game had ever been done before. I'm usually about gameplay but Okami won me over purely by its art style watercolor painting graphics alone, in this instance, good gameplay was the bonus. JADE COCOON 2 - Pokemon for teenagers on a non-Nintendo console. It's just too bad it didn't get more love and hasn't made it beyond this game. INDIGO PROPHECY - Before Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human, there was this. A totally new way of telling stories in an interactive way. RULE OF ROSE - Yeah, there was Silent Hill, but while everyone else was playing Silent Hill (not bad by any means) there was a whole knew world beyond Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Especially where Shinji Mikami declared war on PlayStation and how much he hated it so Nintendo got all the love on the Gamecube, we were playing: Rule of Rose, Clocktower 3, and Haunting Ground. It's a much bigger world than Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Fortunately Tecmo got in on it all with, based on true events, FATAL FRAME. I'm not easily made uncomfortable by games but Fatal Frame had me tensed up, even with someone else in the pitch dark room, the only light being the glow from the TV, Fatal Frame II scared the crap out of me. Metal Gear Solid 3 - Yup, I totally agree. Let them complain about long cutscenes, but Game Development is an art, and I love a good deep story. BLOOD WILL TELL - SEGA released a lot of games post Dreamcast mostly to Gamecube and Xbox, maybe because they were bitter over Steve Race jumping ship on them, but PS2 got some SEGA love with Yakuza (an evolution of Shemnue that was the grandfather of Grand Theft Auto, yup all your Grand Theft Auto games were inspired by Shemnue), Virtua Fighter, and Virtual-On, there was also Blood Will Tell. Everyone's played Resident Evil 4, but, old school Resident Evil inspired this PS2 gem. MARVEL VS CAPCOM 2 - Anyone? Arcade perfect fighting game. Did better on the Dreamcast, sure, but if you had a PS2, this one's also the most valuable version. Just a couple additions.
Great video Gem. PS2 is my all time favourite console with GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas. Other games I enjoyed were Gran Turismo, WWE Smackdown v Raw, Medal of Honor, TOCA Race Driver series and many others. I've been picking up other PS2 games and just need some time to play them now 😂
Silent Hill 2. Played it on the pc. There may be several other games on the number one top spot for best story in a computer game but this is defo one of them. The unveiling of the plot through the other characters you meet on the way - through their back stories - was simple genius. It was when the little boy's story was told I clicked as to what was going on... And when the main character's getting happy towards the end of the game? I was all: "This ain't gonna go well buddy! This ain't gonna go well at all!!!" Absolutely brilliant. I so hoped the movie was going to be this plot - well, can't have it all. Gonna get the remake once a vr mod comes out, bang it through a 4090... Good times, good times!
I remember playing metal gear solid 2 with my mate in my old flat. At the time, I worked for Curry's and had bought a ps2 and a 28-inch goodmans ctv widescreen . Me and my best mate went to tescos which was a 24 hour one and played the game all in one night no sleep was an incredible experience and this is my favourite ps2 game ever the music the writing loved it 😀 ahhh the memories
These are some great games right here, own quite a few of them. Did expect Code Veronica to be there, an honorable mention may be? As for SSX Tricky.....if it snows in my town in the winter months....and it lays ......I fire up the PS2 and stick SSX Tricky on. It has become a tradition of mine 😊
I had THPS3 on PS 1, i played on a friends Ps2 who had it and went and bought a PS2 the very next day. That game for me was phenomenal. But SSX Tricky was a huge game for me, i was working for an A.V company at the time and borrowed a projector from work, took it home and spend the next few weeks playing ssx on that with surround sound. one of my best memory's of that system, just so so good. I miss the PS2 and should get another really.
GTA 3, GTA Vi City, GTA San Anraus, Soul Caliber 2, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, SNL NEO GEO collection, THPS 3,4,Underground Underground 2, American Wasteland
@5:24, @7:18 (@9:30 - The entire game's soundtrack (via the radio stations): Vice City took it to the next level, after GTA3), @12:44 and @18:49 (@19:57 - FF7 (PS1)) - ❤ @14:52 and @16:43 - 😎👍 (The EA Sports BIG games, during this generation, were really good: Love the NBA Street series!)
A fine selection, however Gitaroo Man should be on any list of this nature. It is simply legendary. I would have also given a shout to Dark Chronicle for being light years ahead of anything else out at the time... 😀
My very first PS2 game was State of Emergency and I loved it. My classic PS2 horror past was neither dominated by Resident Evil or Silent Hill 2, but the Project Zero/Fatal Frame games. I could afford one game one time and because we couldnt go online and look up the games I picked up Project Zero 1 because of the box art and I gotta be honest. That game scared the shit out of me, but after finishing it I had a great time letting my friend play through it and watch him get jump scared. 😄 Project Zero 2 was even better.
Favourite final fantasy 9 But the ps2 is still my most favourite console of all time Playing timesplitters 2 and timesplitters future perfect multiplayer with my brother was so much fun. Enjoyed the resident evil games on the ps2 tons as well
Kool list, if I could add anotha game it would be Max Payne, that game along w/ gta3 made me into a real gamer, b4 then I would play mostly arcades, 1 day i walked into my frends house n he was playin' gta3, he asked me if I wanted 2 play n I reluctantly grabbed the control cuz I felt intimidated cuz I had Neva played it, anyway long story short I walked around the corner from the hideout in Hepburn Heights n tryda steal a diablo car n duke knock'd me down n when I got up he shot me like 3 times, I was stunned n hooked after that
I still remember when I got my PlayStation 2 First games I bought was Devil May Cry SmackDown Grand Theft Auto III was some good times a lot of great games did come out for the PlayStation 2 I purchase Resident Evil 4 on my GameCube then I'm not sure if it came out a bit later on for the PS2 Silent Hill 2 was another great classic I can't see why they don't do the same with a silent hills as they done with the resident evils reboot them would love to play the first one again with James Mason not sure if I got the name right or not but was a classic Game.
I agree with you, most games you mentioned i played and love it but one game was very important to me was legacy of kain soul reaver 2 and defiance, thanks

Love the buy my Ecstasy back in the day LOOOOL. . Great video, amazing selection !
Great Video. I'm a big beat em up fan so Tekken Tag Tournament would have to be on my list and Soul Calibur 2 as well
Thank you lovely.
Oh and i am halfway through the Remake. Great version that doesnt completely replace the original.
My favourite ps2 games would be, “the getaway”, “black Monday”, need for speed underground 2”, and “stuntman”
So many great games. I would be tempted to say memories but most of the games on the list are timeless and still enjoyed by thousands of people today. Timesplitters 2 anyone?
Ooofff Timesplitters 💃💃
"buy my ecstasy back in the day" hahaa that caught me off guard ngl
It is obvious what's my favorite Final Fantasy game.
I was in High School when Vice City came out and I "was sick" for a week, to get the time off to play the game. Good times
I couldn’t even afford a memory card, so had to start from scratch each time 😂
Another one is Ridge Racer V, which was the next game I got along with a much needed memory card!
Thank you very much Luke. Ooohh and yes, RRV is a beautiful game
GTA Vice City is my personal favorite GTA game of all time!!!! All in all, your list of 10 PS2 games is a GREAT one! Silent Hill 2, MGS3, etc.
Kingdom hearts literally changed my life
wuz a uber awesome collection of high profile games in your list! it most definitely leads to all of the best games to play on the ps2 and for the future! and as usual, was a very great video put together by you, always a very great time to see what yuh got going on. stay safe!
Grand theft auto III definitely. Claude’s been my favorite character since I was 7-8 years old.
GTA 3 was the first game that made my jaw drop to the floor. It literally made me beg my mom for a PS2
Ah yes, Dixons in Notts, That’s where I got my PS1 on launch day. Those were the days.
Right on Rey. State of Emergency was pretty unique back then
Great video full of nostalgia.
Silent hill 2 , ico , resident evil code veronica, project zero 2 , call of duty 3 , gran turismo 4, manhunt , resident evil 4 , baldur gate dark alliance , timesplitters future perfect
State Of Emergancy was such fun, Graphics always reminded me of Sega Saturn Die Hard Arcade game aka Dynamite Deka also a great fun game
12:48 this one is a underated GEM!! loved this game
Great video
The PS2 was my childhood and did change my life with the amazing library of games it has
The GTA trilogy 😘
I still play the PS2 in 2023
I wasn't gonna buy any console cause I thought I was too old for video games. But seeing my cousin play GTA 3, I said fuck it, Im getting a PS2
💯😂😂
Your never too old for video games🙂
PS2 era is the best era
I bought my PS2 from Dixons in Sheffield in 2002. I got it with Final Fantasy 10 & GTA Vice City. I don't think I'll ever buy a new console with two classics like that ever again.
Not THAT is a combo 🚨
Resident Evil 4 and Metal Gear Solid 3 are my top 2 favorite games on PS2!
Love these type of videos!!!
Thank you. I love them too
Great games. Though resi 4 was experienced on the game cube for me. The tales of dixons was very similar to me haha
Great video Gem. PS2 is my all time favourite console with GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas. Other games I enjoyed were Gran Turismo, WWE Smackdown v Raw, Medal of Honor, TOCA Race Driver series and many others. I've been picking up other PS2 games and just need some time to play them now 😂
Thanks Stag lad. I could never get in yo the wrestling games sadly
@@TheGebs24 wwe svr whole series was and is legend on ps2 specially 2006 2007
Tomb Raider helped me a lot, I love Ps2 & the TR Franchise
A great video Gemma. Thank you my friend
I'm at the moment playing through all my FF games. At the moment I'm on FFV, I do like FFVII and also FFX would be one of my fav PS2 games
I played Silent Hill 2 at a sleepover when we were probably too young to be playing it, loved it ever since. I'd say it's my favorite PS2 game.
What an awesome memory Sub 😊
Haha those were the days
GTA 3, GTA Vi City, GTA San Anraus, Soul Caliber 2, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, SNL NEO GEO collection, THPS 3,4,Underground Underground 2, American Wasteland
This list is 🔥🔥
The original final fantasy has always been my favourite. It was the very first game i ever beat/finished.
My favourite r timesplitters, baldurs gate dark alliance , test drive unlimited, Bully and Tony hawks Pro skater 4 😊
@5:24, @7:18 (@9:30 - The entire game's soundtrack (via the radio stations): Vice City took it to the next level, after GTA3), @12:44 and @18:49 (@19:57 - FF7 (PS1)) - ❤
@14:52 and @16:43 - 😎👍 (The EA Sports BIG games, during this generation, were really good: Love the NBA Street series!)
A fine selection, however Gitaroo Man should be on any list of this nature. It is simply legendary. I would have also given a shout to Dark Chronicle for being light years ahead of anything else out at the time... 😀
Good game mention. Gitaroo Man.
Gitaroo man I have. Along with Rez. Awesome games but quite expensive these days.
Project Zero 2 was even better.
Great video thanks☺️☺️
I got a PS2 and so far i think it’s Awesome, the best PS2 game I’ve ever played was Smackdown HCTP.
Games that made me love the PS2
Formula 1 2001
GT4
Need for speed Most Wanted.
GT3
Burnout 3.
WRC Rally Evolved.
The Getaway.
I can remember the first GTA Vice City mods that gave us multiplayer without these GTA wouldn't be the game it is today!
Favourite final fantasy 9
But the ps2 is still my most favourite console of all time
Playing timesplitters 2 and timesplitters future perfect multiplayer with my brother was so much fun.
Enjoyed the resident evil games on the ps2 tons as well
For Me It Was FIFA STREET, GHOST RIDER And The SMACKDOWN VS RAW Serie's. 😃👍.
That’s getting a remake coming soon on PS5
SSX tricky is one of my top 10. absolutely love it!
We need more SSX in the current generation for sure
Would you take Remaster, Remake or New SSX Game?
Agreed missed mgs 2 sons of liberty
I agree with you, most games you mentioned i played and love it but one game was very important to me was legacy of kain soul reaver 2 and defiance, thanks
I could never get away with vice city..I remember being excited to get it but got boarded after a day or two..I loved the music 🎶 80s!
