since I love abstract painting, if I used acrylics do I need to seal the top, and in this case cutting the pieces first and then painting with the liquid clay colors might be better?
Hi! If you use acrylics, sealing the top is still optional- depends what final effect you prefer. And for your second method of cutting the pieces first- it will definitely work too, just the final result will be slightly different. Everything depends on your preferences, you have something cool on your mind, just give it a try :)
Thank you Sue, you are right, it´s for both durability and texture. Also, if you would just use acrylic paint you would get cool results, just a bit different. That is what we like about these techniques, mostly there is no right or wrong, there are just different results and each can be artistic and unique :)
I am new for clay earings . I love ypur VDO . Every pairs of earings are adorable . Could you please give me advises about how to bake and sand them .( I don't have any tool to sand them .) / Thank you .
Hello Paew, you can check your polymer clay package and there should stand the baking time and temperature, each brand has it different. And for sanding, just use sanding paper :) no need to buy expensive tools :)
Hi Humayra! This is everything polymer clay, in the video you can see how we mix normal polymer clay with liquid polymer clay to reach paint like structure ☺️ and no varnish is necessary in this case ✨
Crazy technique. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool. I don’t understand the reason for using clay vs just using acrylic paint. Is it for durability or texture?
