- After a great 5 days in the French Rivera, I finally left the South of France. Join me on my very last day in Nice and board the flight with me to Krakow, Poland, which will be my very last stop before headed back to Ukraine.

Well as this world tour nears its end, it's been fun "traveling along" with you. I wish you safety as you head back. It was funny to see that YOU watch Jake for updates like I do. Seeing you grow over the years (well, I'm talking about on the inside 🙂) has been great. As I gear up to go back out into the world in a few months, I encourage people to also do it if it's possible. There's a lot of ways to be international--and I think you've shown a unique path.
The only teeny tiny thing I might add is, since I don't watch every single video and know if you've covered it is; your health. If you're not doing it, I would say, have a medical routine you do yearly or regularly; your teeth, your eyes, your heart, your blood work, unidentified aches, etc,. Getting in front of things before they become an issue is ideal...
Thanks for the comment and worry Bob. I know what's wrong with my health, I just need a stable place and time to fix it. =(
@@JohnnyFD Understood.
You should visit the English/French influenced Island of Jersey in the Channel Islands. Plenty to see and do, especially if you're a history buff and it's only a short boat trip/flight away from mainland France and the UK.
Yes the Channel Islands are well worth a visit. I want to go myself. Good call.
Na
Nice! Is this the end of frugal Johnny? I hope not! From what you have shown, it looks to be a great place and I'm sure you will be able to save a buck or two around town! Was wondering which was better, the strawberry's in Greece or the strawberry's in France (The ones in Greece seemed bigger. Must be the radiation from Türkiye😂😂)? Glad your on your way back home (Ukraine). Looking forward to seeing Poland!
The ones in France tasted different, more velvety if that's a word. I think the Greek ones were sugar sweet in a big bite, which is nice, but the French ones were delicious and sweet in a more delicate way.
Johnny by the way, when you buy the tram ticket at the airport, the 10 Euro fare is actually a tourist scam. If you want to pay the base 2 euro for the card, you take the tram 1 stop to Grand Arenas, which is free. From there you can buy the card at the ticket machine for 2 euro. Try that next time you're in Nice!
Oh wow, very smart! I actually didn't end up paying at all though by accident, as I hopped on as the train was leaving and couldn't pay onboard.
Дякую Johnny, love your videos. PS I will be in Kyiv beginning of July, might run into you lol
Yessssss love that your cousin has you reconsidering some things 🩵
9:52 girl in the middle: "who tf is this guy"
That's every girl he tries to talk to.
@@harry8201 Is it about race or age and his being a stranger? Young millennials aren't as sociable as we used to be. They have their phones and texting though.
FD was trying to get some action..
Ooh la la
Hey Johnny, I love your videos! Let me know when you are in Canada! You ever been?
Yes I have! I’ve been to Vancouver and Toronto before.
@JohnnyFD you need to visit my city Montreal! The Paris of North America!
I would love to actually. Especially for the Just for Laughs Festival!
Photos or photo processing take more time than you allowed... patience if you want a hard copy!
The printer was out of paper. 😅
Hi Johnny, Did you get the chance to get to the island of Corsica??? My sister and family moved back home to Canada about a year ago. They lived in Corsica for many years. They used to send us beautiful pictures. Where are you off to next.? So glad you are back to your videos .
Hugs from Cathy in Canada 🇨🇦
Why did they move back?
Boulevard Victor Hugo is beautiful 🇫🇷
Thank You for showcasing one of my old stomping grounds. Very fond memories of Nice. Hope to be there soon. All the best. 👍👍
It is very beautiful there in France with nice weather
looking forward to seeing Poland and then back to
Ukraine take care and see you later Johnny thank you.
🎇👋👋🎇
Go back to Kyiv? Check on your car and house.
I should tell channel members who early access to gives not to give away spoiler alerts. =)
Fixed it 😊
@@NurseGiWhy would he fight? He's not Ukrainian and has raised money to help. Stop commenting garbage douchebag
I can’t wait to see you in Ukraine 🇺🇦✌️❤️
You're right. We should all help Ukraine win this war however we can. Please tell me where in Ukraine you are so I can come assist.
I'm high strung, which probably explains why I travel alone. You probably wouldn't notice this in the airport, though. Even when I give public readings or lectures, no matter how neurotic I am inside, all my preparation allows me to function smoothly nonetheless. My mother, on the other, would let the world know she's losing it. But, yeah, even if she says nothing, she, as my father says, leaks her anxieties.
You have gotten used to cheap restaurant food apparently. 15 dollars for French Onion Soup would not be unusual in the US these days at a nice restaurant.. That's what "starters" cost now in St. Louis where I am, and it's considered a cheap city. Even a sandwich might cost that much.
Tbh I would pay that much for a sandwich over a soup tho
You actually looked at arrival board, that is why your flight was missing 😂
Since you have a permanent residence permit in Ukraine , you can get a temporary protection in France and live there ( depends on a Prefecture😊)
Hi, thanks for the tip. I actually thought about it but never wanted to "take advantage" of the situation as I didn't want it to have even a small chance to negatively Ukrainians who really need it. But yes, it was be an easy workaround for Visas to the EU or Canada as I technically qualify.
Nice is nice! I spent many summers there, I would even walk sometimes from the Promenade to the airport. But last several years I’m going to Ukraine, see you in a month! All the best to you, Bon voyage
Johnny, you only get one life,it is OK to indulge yourself 😊
Johnny listen to your smart cousin...living in Nice or France could be amazing!
Hi Johnny I think you should do it
Johnny freaking F to the D what up dawg that place seems a lil frigid go to Thailand and chill
Love your observations on La belle vie in Nice. You get what you pay for. You may find better prices heading west in the South of France. From Montpellier to the Occitanie. Or up into the Dordogne.
Sellers price items at a value far above their cost, and often the most they deem possible to get for it. Yet the buyers very often pay more than the item’s worth not only in value but also cost. The act of purchasing, stripped to its core, is a transaction where the buyer’s loss is implicit. In tourism, this disparity is heightened, as experiences are sold at a premium beyond their actual value. So, I kindly disagree, as you just get what they charge you, especially in tourist traps, and simply hope each time it's what you pay for.
Wahahaha lol, Johnny you were about to plunder the breakfast buffet again! 😂 love it
Grateful for your offer to allow us to join you on your adventures! Best of luck!!!😻
Thanks so much for coming along the ride!
That French Onion soup looks delicious!
I bought the bowls 20+ years ago. I’ve never made it yet.
This is your motivation to do it. =)
Johnny your thumbnail is giving off serious Butterball from Hellraiser vibes, very unflattering choice for yourself 😆
Maybe I should stop wearing all black with my fellow Cenobites. 😂
@@JohnnyFD 😂😂😂
Good that you are considering some things. A lot of folks commenting on you in Ukraine have done diddly squat helping and spreading awareness like you have.
Thanks for that!
Nice is so visually appealing: The Palace, the statues, the street cafes, everything ... except the garcon with ripped jeans?! How gauche!
Johnny eats, drinks, walks and finally arrives at the airport again. The only youtube channel where I agree to watch this. But Johnny is different and lives in Ukraine.
I was inspired by your you tube video Odessa - Chisinau airport by bus. Air Baltic flies to Chisinau airport from here, Riga with a stopover, in just over five hours. Odessa and Kiev here I come... Many thanks Johnny. 👍🙏💙💛🇺🇦💛💙🙏👍. 💙🤍🇫🇮🤍💙
I agree with your cousin. Life passes by very quickly. Johnny honestly i told you in a earlier video. Those countries Russia etc have been fighting since the beginning of time .No person will change this. You deserve true unconditional happiness. You willl never find true peace in kyiv. Please Johnny , i have a very bad feeling about you going back there. Take care ,Love from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 💫🌾
=(
I agree that Western Russia/Eastern Europe has been in conflict for thousands of years, and peace is actually an anomaly there. I think it will always be a volatile region.
Yes, Russia has loved their wars. Just look up "List_of_wars_involving_Russia wiki"
@@JohnnyFDI agree with everyone, I think u should avoid moving back to Ukraine permanently , and keep traveling until you find your new home base in a peaceful country far away from evil dictators like Putin.
Safe travels.
I don’t think you should spend more money all the time. After all your frugalness is what’s allowed you to not have to work the crappy job like I have lol (and travel) But I think maybe you could have a day of the week or month even where you do indulge on something expensive.
Thanks, so far my only splurge is the Priority Pass for airport buffets. 😂
@@JohnnyFD lol
$2.50 for those strawberries is the antithesis of a $15 French onion soup.
Be happy Johnny, but stay smart.
Agreed, I'd much rather have 6 boxes of French Strawberries over a cup of Onion soup. =)
That food looked great, but why the huge line? Is it an instagram sensation? You and I have the same opinion about Nice, expensive, but definitely worth living there.
It was popular as it was good food at a low'ish price, compared to all the expensive restaurants in that area.
@@JohnnyFDyou could've starved to death in that crazy long line, you took a huge risk for great content for your subscribers 😅
I'm glad you appreciate what I put myself through for ya'll! 😅
Yessss Johnny - I'm very happy to aee you enjoy yourself spending your hard-earned UA-cam dollaz more readily (like those fresh strawberries). That's what life's all about my friend.
I don't know Johnny, the food didn't look like it deserves the long wait for the privilege to pay them to feed you. Johnny, I thought you rented out your apartment to a nice lady in Kyiv. I am curious about where are you going to live once you get back to Kyiv.
I see you as a champion for Ukraine and would hate to see you leave BUT you should do what makes you happy.
Always been fond of vlogs of in foreign countries such as bald and yours vlogs, but watchin a vlog about your country, france, is really weird hahaha
edit: i enjoy it, but weird.
good shit man you fucking around with ben great
Dude looks like the Baron Harkonnen in the thumbnail. Pretty soon, he'll need a levitation suit.
Post a photo of yourself 🤡
I'll say it again: Your cousin Kat is a gem and a smart, pretty woman. Listen to her wisdom.
the Mcdodo soup
You should move to Nice
question: would the police officer have to get off their horse and scoop the poop or clean the pee if the horse does it's business on the street
No, but I'm sure there is some type of cleanup procedure for it as I never saw any horse crap laying around there.
BTW, it's "lah koo-chee-na" in Italian pronunciation, meaning "the kitchen".
re: neurotic womanin security line, there are a lot of karens in the US
This Woman wasn't actually a Karen, she didn't even say much. But you could tell her stress and anxiety that she was feeling while taking things out of her bag to go through the security line. Not that I think she was hiding something, more just the anxiety of needing to do things swiftly/quickly and not hold up the line.
She kinda rushed to the left line when it opened so she'd be first. But then instantly she was stressed as everyone behind her had to wait.
Does Lamb taste like Goat? 🐐
The music/announcements on the train seem cool at first but then become massively annoying!
I really liked them as well, but I can see if you're riding it daily, it would be super annoying. Especially since they saw it in Chinese.
Move to NICE, Johnny !
Hey,'' Johnny it is Jeff. Nicely made. I hope you still can come to the Netherlands some time. It will be something to enjoy for everyone , Mostly you ! I have been living here in Europe for the last 24 years, born and raised in Orange county California. During the housing Crisis, And all the biggest companies left USA. France not so nice.. not for me.
That's a lot of Asians waiting for that restaurant.
Yeah, Asian travelers love a good deal that's why, and we spread the word on where to eat. 😅
Hey it must be Mcdonald's al la Francaise

Return to Taipei, not to Kyiv, and buy a cocoa farm.❤😊
The older I get, the less restaurant wait listing is worth it. Or very rarely I should say. I hate to say it but I am getting to the point where, food is food is food.
