DC law allows Idaho stops for bikes which means we treat stop signs as yield signs
@@Penguinsix I grew up in the country and have never ridden a bike in town. So it's only in DC.
@@JanePilkington It isn't only in DC, but it is permitted in other states depending on their law. When it comes to traffic laws in the various states it is incumbent on you to know it when you are in them, and if you don't and you end causing harm to another they aren't going to give you a break.

Thank you, Andrew, for the footage of DC, the history, places to visit, Parks, whitehouse, Reflecting Pool, wildlife, also so many cycle paths so you can tour the area. The one on the supermarket where you can go in only if you have an app on your phone, do your shopping, leave without paying and they charge you later, they started that here nothing has come of it. I would like to say squirrels are resilient I was out cycling one day, I saw a squirrel, slowed down as I was passing it decided to run under my back wheel, I stooped turned to just see the squirrel run into the bushes, thank goodness it was unharmed..
