Police office shot in DC, Biden leaves for the border, and then I get breakfast

- It was a busy busy morning in D.C. today, with a Housing Authority police officer being shot early and then a barricade situation. I was there when they put the suspect in cuffs. Then it was off to the White House for Biden's departure before heading to the border. He took a few questions from the press before boarding. Then I had breakfast.

And when you are walking away from the President's departure, what is that long white building behind the press tents? I learn something new every time you post, thank you.
That building is the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and White House staff work there. It used to be the State ,War and Dept of the Navy headquarters. Its incredible ornate inside .. you can Google for more information and visit the web page
