  • Today is about the story of the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, one of the Nintendo Wii’s most hyped games, and how a game-changing exploit pushed the boundaries of what the Wii was capable of by allowing user made software to bypass Nintendo’s security and be installed onto the console.
Zelda Twilight princess was a long awaited entry, in the franchise, if you are interested in checking out other Zelda Content, then consider seeing some of my other videos.

A Wii game I liked was Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I liked it more than Mario Kart Wii, the characters looked weird like they where made of plastic.

And now, it doesn't use a game. It uses the Mail system in the wii.letterbomb or something like that. Should've mentioned that.

The homebrew scene is one that unfortunately passed me by, I only ever really learned to do emulation and so on on the PC, so not much to comment on there. But as far as favorite Wii games go, I was a big fan of Sin and Punishment Star Successor- real intense shmup for the Wii, even if it wasn't much of a looker beating all of it felt really cool.

thats what my cousin did for my 2009 model wii. i think it was before it was patched but he somehow found out how to homebrew my wii with twilight princess AND the letter bomb. my wii now is an emulation machine.

Back in the day, bootmii was more important, and I’d argue still is, as it’s your only way to practically guarantee an unbrickable Wii, by backing the whole nand up. (Saved my ass a couple times when messing with custom themes and custom IOS back then!) In fact, my plan when the nand on my Wii dies is to try to flash the bootmii backup to new nand chip manually, and swap the chip(s) with the new one(s). Gonna be fun.

Thanks, I tried to break it down, as best I could.

Why does your microphone sound so bad? There is an echo in the background like you don’t have any sound reducing foam or windscreen on the mic.
Sounds like you’re recording in the bathroom

Currently recording on the move, So it's been very, very difficult to get the Mic to not pick up an echo. I've been problem solving the issue, trying to figure out a solution for it.

@@thequestgamer what mic are you using? Is it through an audio interface?

@@narutobroken Elgato Wave 3, The audio you are hearing has been edited in audacity, and then further treated in premiere pro. So you can imagine what the original sounded like. It's just a matter of recording in the place I'm staying at currently. It has really quite bad echoes.
Soon I'll be in a different place so the recordings will sound cleaner again. In the meantime, I am figuring work arounds.

@@thequestgamerMatPat uses a stocked clothes closet to record, even when traveling. I've done that as well and it works quite well. Depending on what "on the move" means, a blanket over you and the microphone also works at making a cleaner raw recording. It gets hot because blanket, so I recommend not doing something like a 10 minute continuous voice over track, but in a pinch it works.
