Seriously, Vortex didn't ship with any instructions.. they should just send a note in the box with a link to this vid. Man, you saved me so much frustration. Thank you!
I just got the titanium shorty's for an NC700X Honda. You made it look easy since they send them out with nothing resembling a roadmap to install. Thank you.
Just realized you were using different clip ons when I went to put my clutch lever on haha. That locking nut is really hard to reach without taking a ton of stuff off on the factory clip ons.
Great video, very informative since there are no instructions that come with the levers, WTF!!? Installed these on my '09 FZ6R and really like them. After installing the clutch lever I realized there was a lot of play in the lever. Turns out I had to use the metal bushing from the original lever and install it into the Vortex lever, problem solved. That said, these levers really feel great on the bike. Got 'em dialed in just right and they look sharp too.
I purchased cheap chinese short levers and after watching your videos on those and these I think I'm going to have to ship those back and get these instead for my 2006 sv650
We have used these on several bikes now with no issues. Hard to diagnose this via UA-cam comments. I would really need to see the lever in person. - Van
Great vid as always. Looking to replace my stock ones on my 01' ZX-12R. I'm more inclined to stick with the long ones and something adjustable. The stock clutch lever especially, I feel, is a little too far of a reach for me and is not adjustable in that way at all. Cheers!
I know this is an older video but I was wondering if you would recommend these for a daily rider? Looked around and figured these had a solid bang for the buck (far cheaper than asv or crg) for someone who just wants to spice up their daily ride. Thanks!
Hi, I have a question about oil filter of ninja 400. I know that I need to change th filter after first oil change but should I change it with every oil changing? (I am using k&n 303) thx!
VORTEX SUX!!!!! I put these levers on my Ninja 650. Both SUXD HARD!! I had to squeeze brake like no tomorrow for the break to work. I went around the block slowly.. and I was just wanting to get back to my garage! Thank god for rear breaks. My clutch lever had to be adjusted to max to keep my clutch fully engaged. DO NOT BUY THESE.. TOTAL GARBAGE. I have $35 amazon levers the work 100x better than this crap! Went back to them while I wait for Puig levers.. I pray that Puig does not let me down too.

Hey, good job, nice video! The new little Ninja is a sweet bike, you guys got a pretty awesome project there.

We replaced our clip ons with the Woodcraft Ninja 400 Clip Ons before we took it to the track. The OEM are a little too high up for track use. - Van
Luv it. I have the same levers on my zx6 and HAD questions. U answered them, thx bud
Happy to help! - Van

I prefer a standard length lever on my bikes as well. - Van
Just ordered these for my 2015 cbr600rr and this video is just what I was looking for.Can I use wd40 instead of grease? Thanks
I would use the grease, WD40 evaporates over time. - Van
What grease do you use to lubricate the contact points?
I just use a quality multi purpose grease, nothing special is necessary. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear but your looks special.... :)
i just broke the stick of the clutch switch is this easy to fix? thanks
You will need a new clutch switch. - Van

Just installed these levers on my ninja 400. My clutch lever hits the pass button on all settings. Any fix?

What is the red substance in paste form? Sorry, I'm not a native English speaker.
I believe that is a thread locking compound. - Van
