So do you use the kayak trolley to get to and from the water vice backing down anywhere even near the ramp? If so, I think I like that plan as I get ready to purchase and build out a trailer to hit spots in NW Florida.
no, I almost always back it into the water and launch like a boat. I use the cart if I have to park some distance away and can't back the trailer near the water.
Have you used the trailer yet? Has the 2x4 done any damage to the boot Tom of your yak?
why would it? Old Town sells kayak trailers on their website with 2x4 bunks

Hey gramps, do you have any sources for relatively local kayak catfish tournaments? Im in Southern Indiana too.
nothing that I have seen. Don't think I've ever tried cats out of a kayak before
