RS6 performance owner here and it checks off many of the boxes you mentioned in the video. Active family of 4. But if I could afford the Ferrari, I wouldn’t hesitate.

Great to see your enthusiasm for the car. I personally hate it. You could have a proper V12 supercar, a brand new van and a brand new luxury saloon car for the same price. It’s a bit like trying to design a pair of shoes that are perfect for hiking, going to dinner and skiing. It just isn’t going to work.
Ferrari have sold 2 years worth of production, so a lot of people are keen to own one.
Oh absolutely, and good luck to them - it would be a boring world if we enjoyed the same things. Personally I don’t like Swiss Army knives and prefer specialist tools for the job!

I love 2 + 2 sporty cars, but 2 big doors only. 4 doors is utilitarian, 2 doors feels more sporty. Like the 911. I remember sitting in the back of a 911 a very long time ago as a kid. The closest thing I had on a modest budget was the last 2 door Audi A3 150 bhp TDI. I loved it. I would love a 2-door A5 coupe, black and full leather. That Purosangue has looks of the Lusso.
So glad Ferrari tried something a bit different. That natural brown leather is the best look I've seen on one of these.
Performs like a supercar, but simply a nicer variation of every other SUV blob on the road today. Your last image beside the 488 proves just how ungainly it appears. Looks are just as emotionally important in a sports car as sound and driving feel. Would never want to look back at this one after parking. I'd actually be embarassed spending so much on something so beastly. In comparison, a Land Rover SVR doesn't pretend it's something it's not.
I disagree. The fact that they've sold two years worth of allocations shows you how popular they are.
I’d argue that the SVR is pretending it’s something that it’s not! and could never be compared to a Ferrari who was never intended to be taken off road,,,,,,,,,,ever!!!! Before commenting like this I’d take a ride in the Ferrari and you would understand how people that have would find your comment as ridiculous as it sounds. But alas we must all remember that we must read the comments of those that hide behind a keyboard with opinions formed by their enormous amount of time on TikTok and other fodder 😂
Hey Mark @marksaul2281 - don't have TikTok but however formed, I do have an opinion different than yours and the Internet allows that. It has the V12 from the 812 so of course it will drive amazing! However a ride in it won't change my opinion that it looks like a tricked out Mazda/Toyota and won't age well as opposed to other Ferrari designs (like the 488 in the video). If you personally have one on order and need the comments section for validation that it's a "Cool" SUV, that's kind of sad. The Purosangue may be a great driver's car and an awesome flex at C&C, but it isn't to everyone's taste.
Ferrari is the epitome of quality, speed and design.

my 612 was a daily driver and while not 4d, she handled adults fine. greenwich to manhattan wiyyh another couple an hour each way was doable

If you put a Novitec exhaust on then you'll invalidate the warranty. You'll have to keep putting your OEM pipe on every time you visit the dealership.
At Ferrari they know very well the concept of the subjective value of a good and this is why even at this absurd price the demand greatly exceeds supply.

Love Ferraris's but have to disagree with you nearly completely on this one, I drove it on a damp day in the Uk. Initially it was very surprisingly slippery, could not put its power down. Then the sound is good but not half as nice as a 812. The interior is very very bland, when your sitting there you cannot see the passenger display and all there is , is the central rotary button, which lowers and blends in , its very sparce and looks cheap. Cannot even compare with a cullinan . The lack of torque is very noticeable and it doesn't feel as quick as 3.3s to 60 (looking forward to your drag race. Was very disappointed (p.s other owners have said it feels slow also). Also should be 100k less, very hard to keep in under 400k ,otherwise looks very very cheap with all the plastics
F8 feels faster than 812, but 100-200 km speeds are similar. If you want to feel the speed in an atmospheric engine, go to higher revs.

If the Purosangue can't put its power down on a damp day then there's no other Ferrari that can do the same. The sound is perfect, keep in mind this is a practical car. The interior is perfect and minimalistic with leather and carbon fibre, the controls once you get used to it, isn't an issue like journalists make them seem. And you're right, a Cullinan and Purosangue cannot be compared because they are two completely different products, it's like comparing the Wraith and 812! The naturally aspirated v12 is what makes the price around 400k and the interior is filled with leather and carbon fibre.
GTC4 Lussso's put the power down much better. You have to pay a lot for the interior carbon, even schmees at 380k does not have a carbon instrument surround. Have to disagree, interior is bland . Sound is far from perfect. GTC lusso's interior is much nicer, much better sound and better to drive. I found d only in sport did the car feel connected to the road . Each to their own opinion and time will tell , as you will se. I asked my wife what did she think k of the sound, she said I cannot remember anything except being scared for my life, as it was slipping all over the place :)@@JuanOne11
@@richjohn9356 They have the same awd system and in the Purosangue it was upgraded to fit the extra horsepower. I don't know what you're talking about! The interior is perfect, it's just like how a supercar interior should be. I disagree, the Purosangue drives better than the Lusso and the interior looks better. The sound is perfect, not loud like being a hooligan. One tip for you, don't take your wife to judge these type of cars, especially supercars. The Purosangue order books are filled to the brim, time had already told!
It’s unique because of its ridiculous price so nobody can afford it. Also if it’s not an SUV, it is certainly not a supercar. For the price I’d rather purchase an Urus S + used Aventador S. I find it ugly and I despise those haptic controls. Not exactly my cup of tea I’m afraid contrary to most journalists raving about it like they rave about any Ferrari just to stay in the good books and get re invited.
I am not a journalist reviewing a car from Ferrari. I am an independent UA-camr driving a friend's car. My views are my own. I love the Purosangue. As for your comment about the price and nobody being able to afford it, Ferrari have sold two years worth of production.

Less of the FF’s with the pano roof and also a better tech in the Lusso, plus the AWD was improved for the second generation

It's a 'brake - it may be more versatile than a saloon but it's nothing compared to a dedicated UV. Totally different vehicles.

@@888mf4 Agreed. I have so much respect to Ferrari for packing this with their glorious V12 during a time with everyone is shoving EVs down our throats. Because of that V12 this car will age like a fine wine while many of the EVs of today will be scrapped or recycled once those batteries go out.
