DIY Volkswagen Crafter Campervan Build (Full Van Tour)

I got this van off Facebook marketplace after looking for months! I knew exactly what I wanted after living in my old van and seeing 100’s of vans on the road, I took inspiration from each van that I can across and put together all the best bits to create my own project.
The van itself is a 2011-2016 shape. 2.0tdi 109bhp L2H2 (Medium Wheelbase)
I spent £9750 on the van as it’s only got 75k miles on the clock with a full service history and I also wanted A/C and cruise which this van has!
The conversion cost me £7000 in total for all materials, electrics and anything you see in the van in this video! I completely it in 77 days off my grandads driveway, many days were rained off and many days were spent making mistakes and thinking “what’s next” but I pulled it all together to make something I’m really proud of.

I’m Willem and I’m currently traveling around Europe alone after self converting my 2011 Volkswagen Crafter! I decided to quit my job after working for 8 years for Volkswagen, working my way up to sales manager, however 50+ hours a week and every weekend was too much in the end as I wanted to see the beauty Europe had to offer and in particular its mountain ranges, lakes and towns.
