There are a few aspects in the comparison that are slightly biased! Clearly the use of 7000+ km driven apache will affect its score in cornering and comfort due to worn out tyres. And also it's technically apache the more efficient bike considering the fact that it has 4 valves in its piston head whereas the other bikes don't therefore it gives more low end torque and better mid range in city traffic so ultimately it's it's efficiency of 47 in city is as good as 51 or 52 of other competitors. Considering these odds Apache stands the clear winner!!!
Bro , Pulsar is not getting sales as per expectations so they sponsored Zigwheels😂 . The braking test was clearly baised as rear tyre of pulsar was in air which is not ideal braking condition and lean angle on apache is better as compared to pulsar + The fuel efficiency of Apache is better as compared to pulsar .
In my opinion, this assessment is a little sloppy, and the comparison of the equipment lists is absurd. They are using a TVS with worn tyres which impact handling and braking. According to the reviewer, they preferred the FZ-S to the FZ-X. FZ-X is more geared towards retro vibe so don't fit in this sporty commuter character that well. Dual channel ABS and a USB charger are both listed as having the same value under equipment.
Why should you include rtr if it's relatively old when compared to other bikes? Cornering goes to rtr cause of radial tyre, mileage depends on the person who has been using that bike since it cloaked above 5k km. And initial 60 ,rtr reaches max 4.98 sec lol.. How the hell its 5+ seconds? That bike has some serious issues and you brought that bike for a comparison 😂☠️ !! The funny fact is despite all this rtr became 2nd out of others. Lean angle test was a very interesting thing, did you swap riders between bikes ? The FZX is a joke, thanks so much for including it, good entertainment, possibly one of the ugliest designs ever to come out. Gixxer too is painfully outdated. I wouldn't trust a Bajaj product no matter how good they look & how premium it feels, when new, they often degrade very quickly especially the engine & basic electronics like instrument console. Very surprised with Hero, excited to see the new bikes they are bringing. Absolutely loved this review. Its as an all round review that I have never seen anyone make till date except for that suspension testing which was done on literally an off road course with a guy hiding the container. His hand itself was acting as a suspension to counter the kickback from the bumps. The light spread test was something I really loved cos good light especially in this era where one has proprietary LED lights, is highly essential to know. Like old times, One just can't change to brighter bulb and get away with it. And yes its a shame to see that the Japanese bikes have devolved into such uninteresting bikes. I still ride the original FZ16 the one that started this trend and i love it. Now if it's not yo much to ask, can you people make the same kinda comparison video with 250cc bikes.
Not just Pulsar and Apache ..all of the mentioned bikes have long term reliability issues. But the catch is Bajaj's vast service network makes life easier because of the spare parts availablity.thats where the rest sucks
That's a old model of Apache, if you go with the new Model, it will perform much better than others. The only point where apache lags is Dual Channel ABS... else, it's the best in segment.
It feels like hero xtreme was betrayed by the last rating of 9 if it would be from 5 xtreme was too close to apache or if we test weight it would get a 5 too

Wow..absolutely anazing video guys. Loved the test categories. And loved the way you also included the "emotion" test.
Kudos to the whole team 👍🏻👍🏻.
I am still confused between gixxer and pulsar n160.
I love both equally but..i heard pulsar n160 have lots of after sale issue. 😢
@martin pulsar n160 only good for some months after that its sucks
Pick apache
In my opinion, this assessment is a little sloppy, and the comparison of the equipment lists is absurd. They are using a TVS with worn tyres which impact handling and braking. According to the reviewer, they preferred the FZ-S to the FZ-X. FZ-X is more geared towards retro vibe so don't fit in this sporty commuter character that well. Dual channel ABS and a USB charger are both listed as having the same value under equipment.
Talk about using the older version of the tvs to compare with the newest version of the other bikes
So clearly rtr is the winner here.
Honda Xblade is the real gangsta in 160 cc segment...
It's stopped
Exactly .thankyou
Xtreme 160r 4v chahiye thi
Inclusion of xblade and NS160 would make the complete comparison. Also should consider Fzx v3 instead of Fzx.
Video About sporty 160 cc bikes
With out the most sporty NS160
How ironic
Going to pick Pulsar N160 mainly for dual channel ABS 🔥🔥
Sound , headlight is mind-blowing
Dual channel ABS ❤
How about a N400 from bajaj, a sporty built on a Dominar 400
Once a KING, Always a KING

@@avinashyadav7289 bro yaar maintenance matters.
I have seen many pulsar Bikes in our relatives house n they maintained their bikes well.
So no p* star type sound yeah..
BS3 makes lot of sound I agree..
BS4 has improved bit
BS6 improved more
But new gen Pulsars are the best till date in refinement among the whole pulsar series.
Man o man!! That pulsar looks more mature and sophisticated... And a notch above from it's rivals
Where are the real kings of 150cc/160cc category
R15 and MT15
Bajaj should've discontinued ns160 & updated n160 with usd forks.
N160 can do everything what ns160 can with better mileage & refinement.
True i owned n160
@@abhishekrajputminhas630 bro I am planning to take , what's your suggestions. I am confused between Apache and this , and also tell me the reason for your suggestion.
Bro if you want a bike with good mileage ,looks, adn performance you can go ahead , power is good . I dont jeed bluetooth because i have smartwatch for notifications usb charging is provided in bike which is important and dual channel abs is best , looks are so damn good, people will ignore apache if both are placed at same place, 55+ mileage in city with premium petrol, pickup is good but after 4000rpm you can feel the real power the beast mode. Bike feels little heavy as compare to others and handling is little bit heavier side
@@dhruvinmehta53 me too planning to buy bro ...
FZ-X ,the most hated bike from Yamaha 's lineup.
I hate that fuckin bike.
iam an 1st time biker N 160 is my dream bike going to buy next month suggest me an colour 😁
This is how comparison (and comparison videos) should be done. ❤️❤️
Loved how the pulsar took it's throne back ❤️🤌✨
Believe me I was going for pulsar n160 but When I saw that bike In real I didn’t liked at all the size looks more smaller compared to it power and other bikes
You should include the new pulsar ns 160 also fzs v4 coz I’m still waiting for my perfect motorcycle now I’m thinking for mt15 😂
Same bro ...Im also confused with n160 & FZ
Quality of Suzuki is 👌
N160 is good bike until it comes to engine 😢
Lean angle test was a very interesting thing, did you swap riders between bikes ?
The FZX is a joke, thanks so much for including it, good entertainment, possibly one of the ugliest designs ever to come out. Gixxer too is painfully outdated. I wouldn't trust a Bajaj product no matter how good they look & how premium it feels, when new, they often degrade very quickly especially the engine & basic electronics like instrument console. Very surprised with Hero, excited to see the new bikes they are bringing.
The now 4-year old RTR 160 4V looks to be an overall better package than all of these bikes & that's really saying something, I do miss the old headlight design, the new one looks very odd.
the newest headlight is a bit more digestable
You should add Xblade in this list.
Exactly
Wasn't the xblade discontinued 🤔🤔
Nope
@@syedfaizaanahmed9647 brooo god damn i haven't seen one ina long time bro i always thought it was discontinued
I own 200cc Motorcycle - Hero Xtreme 200r
Bhai hero xtreme 160r stealth 0 to 60 is 4.7
You should include fzs 4.0 instead of fzx and also include hornet 2.0..plz compare this way again with these bikes
Happy to be an owner of Apache 160 4V RM BT❤ . For me it's best in every view but tvs need to improve some Service centre in small town areas.
Ah yes the gold standard in bike tests, the water jug test😂💀
Where is Pulsar NS 160😢
I owned n160 and happy that i don't go with apache because i have smartwatch I don't need Bluetooth.n160 is far better allrounder. New fresh looks and better in all aspects..this is truly inproved pulsar..better than ns160 its topend is far better ..
Pulsar n160 is best bike
Need this video for 200cc
Now Xtreme 160r 4v is here
This should be revised with fzs and new xtreme
Ns 160 xbade left the chat
I'm still using fz 16
Fresh Apache would have made the things interesting.
I wish to see pulsar N160 taking on one on one with the new beast Xtreme 160R 4V
Hornet 2.0 all rounder
Insted of xtrem ,xblade is worth it
Long term Reliability is big issue with pulsar and apache
Not just Pulsar and Apache ..all of the mentioned bikes have long term reliability issues. But the catch is Bajaj's vast service network makes life easier because of the spare parts availablity.thats where the rest sucks
@@ripster36 Do agree Bajaj spare parts are cheap and easily available but Yamaha and suzuki are much more reliable.
Pulsar ns160 kyu nahi ha balo
Proudly Pulsar N160 owner.
Apache 160 2v..????
That's a old model of Apache, if you go with the new Model, it will perform much better than others. The only point where apache lags is Dual Channel ABS... else, it's the best in segment.
It feels like hero xtreme was betrayed by the last rating of 9 if it would be from 5 xtreme was too close to apache or if we test weight it would get a 5 too
Suzuki ❤😢😮😊Bike
The new FI Gixxer does not have the same connect and fun like the OG carburetted Gixxer. The OG Gixxer could have outclassed all the bikes here when it comes to cornering
Xtreme 4v please
Apache 160 4v RM still the best in the business proud owner ❤️
Loved❤ video. Hoping for more comparisons based on real life scenarios like these. Bought fz 5 months ago. Now feel like I have missed chance to get n160😅
Fz is good too be happy with your bike bro
@@offaryaan it's good old reliable machine. I'm happy that it won't give big problems in future but wanted something extra, like performance or better headlights. Will try to enjoy it while it's my primary bike.
@@pratikvanc6244 suree brotha
@@pratikvanc6244reliability comes down to maintaining your bike well. I have used Fz and Pulsar 150 both. The Fz was owned and maintained by my friend before i got my hands on it and trust me, it was a money hogging machine in terms of repair. Whereas the pulsar 150 that i am using currently (2010) model, is running like a beast. I have spent money in maintaining pulsar and in return that bike is giving me reliability.
Nah......Tvs 4v Always Best......Pulsar N160 get second......forget about dual channel abs......
Everyone just go for the pulsar N160, trust me you're never going to regret it over Apache, its better in sound, refinement and everything....and Looks omg
Nu 160
Companies should provide some way to check tire air pressure in phone or on speedometer. It will help alot. Improve average, ride quality, long rides become more safe.
I’m interested to see how these new gen pulsar quality is over longer periods of ownership. Previous gen wasn’t that great compared to Apache RTRs
You're wrong, you'd hardly see a 10 year old Apache on road, while you will certainly see 15 year old pulsars
@@suvrasinha5751 the owner of the 15 yr old pulsar couldn't afford a new bike because of the relentless maintenance costs.
@@suvrasinha5751 gotta be kidding me😂😂 there are plenty of apache models that i got which is 12years old and running like charm. The parts are expensive but the reliability is 200% + no chain noises like the bajaj or oil leakages or brake issues
@@suvrasinha5751 lol. I own the gen-1 RTR160 for which I recently got the FC renewed as I just can't let it go. The inspection officer found it hard to believe its 15 years old. Ofcourse I service it religiously once a year and that's the bare minimum one should do.
All my friends who got pulsars back then(2007), got ride of their bikes by 2017/18 max as the maintenance was too much & they weren't as reliable anymore. The pulsars that you feel are 10+ year old are actually maybe 4-5 year old because they didn't change the design since mid 2000s till like 2021/22 😄
just show me any surge 150 models or 1st gen apache running shoes on roads.😂😂😂 I can show you 100 of 2001 pulsar still on road even boxers and calibers .just show me one Victor or flame or star city . I myself own a 2013 model pulsar 180 with 110000 km on odo with stock bore and piston .recently uploaded to dominar 400 still i won't want to give my 180 is😢 such a gem .
Use new Apache and fzs rather than fzx then only the right comparison will be made... Definitely Apache would have been on top and xtreme and fzs would have been neck to neck.... And one correction FZ wasn't the first 160cc sporty commuter but Apache was......
I couldn't stop myself to like and comment 😊😊😊😊 great work sir🎉 salute 🫡👏
TVS quality is better than bajaj 😅 i own a TVS & BAJAJ bike finishing & parts quailty is better in TVS . but TVS service is worst
I haven't ridden the new pulsars but bring a fresh Apache (not the 2 year old machine) and I think things would be different.
RTR 200 owner here and I have learnt so much on the bike that most people cannot dare to go as fast as me on hills and only chapri riders with 0 IQ can keep up with me in city traffic
How about adding xtreme 160 4v to this list, might give a tough competition to Pulsar n160
The Yamaha's ugly duckling is the worst design I have seen , From every angle it looks like a botched up plastic surgery, old FZ was an Icon and this one is utter disappointment
Bajaj provides a great free feature in its Every bike ....chain sprocket noise......chakchakkkchakkchakkk😂
a huge point was missed here that is an inclusion of a kick starter which in my books gives huge brownie points to Xtreme 160R and simply makes it a winner
So you are expecting your bike to fail always
In the past 6 years i only had to push start my ns200 twice(battery dead), i never wished it had a kickstarter.😅
@@adarsh.a7 try living in Pune rain it becomes hell
@@SuperImbadude not always but when it fails you realize the importance of it and I don't really see a sense of why kick starter were removed...a lot of you will say it is to protect the fuel pump from getting damaged in FI system but how is Hero Motocorp providing this...I don't mind paying a extra 1000rs to get a kick start....also Pulsar NS160 comes with a kick so I am assuming it will fail daily
