He's definitely got my respect! Being a solo artist is a lot harder than singing in a group. In SHINee he only has a certain amount of lines in a song, and there's plenty of time for him to rest when one of the other menbers are singing. Here, it's only him, and he has to sing everything for 3-4 minutes without any breaks. I think that's a lot harder and it must be really difficult. I can still hear him struggle with some parts of the song, especially in the verses, but I think it's because the range of this song is lower than his usual range :) We all know he kills the high notes, and he's doing such a great job! He's showing us all that he deserves this more than anything, and I'm sooo proud of him!
This is the perfect solo performance. The solo singer can dance, and sings it live while dancing...and stays on key!!!! This is seriously a top notch performance! And his facial expressions too...makes me want to know what he is actually singing about..LOL! Glad he won, this performance really deserved it!

He is one of the few that'll ok better doing their cheography than the dancers. Taemin has more feel and because he is thin you can see the movements better also the clothes of course and he is awesome so that helps too ;)
Great to see taemin showing his potential to hold his notes while dancing. And i absolutely lovr the fact that he's not bound by strict choreography over and over again, and that he just owns the stage with his own style.
