ok i've seen like 5 thread comments on here about kai's rapping and??? first of all, it's not really a big deal bc kai's rapping isn't the main part and its not like he made a huge mistake or smth. second, idk why ppl make such a huge deal about it?? before i could hear his raps in exo songs i had assumed he was h ORRIBLE from the way people talk about him. i have literally never heard him sound anywhere near as terrible as people make him out to be. he sounds perfectly fine, not out of place and keeping up with the music. he even sounds fairly good live since they're also doing some pretty jumpy dancing. i just?? what do you guys want from him?? full on hip hop rapping?? i cant understand why people want that from him bc come on, can u honestly say that if kai started rapping like hes in BTS or smth in the middle of an exo song that it wouldn't sound weird? exo are a kPOP group, they sing POP songs and for the genre theyre in, i think kai does well. this is practically the same argument in shinee that minho is a bad rapper and really hes fine. people call it idol rapping for a reason and guess what?? its bc they are IDOLS. theres a khiphop genre for a reason and if he rapped the same way and was in hip hop idol groups like bts, bap, block b etc then i could see why people had a problem. but hes not so can we just move on already?? not to mention that in exo, rapping isnt even his main position but his secondary one. he is good at doing what he is supposed to, don't demand from him unreasonably. ugh sorry this is so long but im just so tired of this stupid argument. heck im not even an exo fan and im seeing it EVERYWHERE! at any rate, great live stage from taeminnie-ah!! yeah i noticed too but he probably has a high metabalism. i have that, my weight goes up and down alot escepially when i have long working hours. while i'm working i don't eat much at all because i can't. but when i get days off or small "Breaks" from working i eat alot more and i gain some pounds then lose it again when working. i don't gain much weight at all either. i think that's how kai, suho, and Kyungsoo are if you notice they gain weight when they don't have to much schedules but when theyare very busy they lose it easily. i don't think they are un-healthy looking though or maybe that's just me :)

I'm just going to go ahead and say it: Taemin's Ace mini-album has, for me, been the best Kpop SOLO release of 2014! He has won me over completely as a soloist. His range may not be spectacular, but the emotional precision and subtlety in his delivery, coupled with the warmth and silkiness of his voice are nothing short of magical - this is perhaps best exemplified by Ace and Play Me. Going back to such songs as Ring Ding Dong, where his singing is so rudimentary and uncertain, and then listening to his solo album, his growth as a vocalist and performer is truly remarkable. I hope SM recognise and duly cultivate his talent. Being the hard-worker he has shown himself to be, one can only look forward to his evolution, both with and apart from SHINee. Here's to a successful comeback in 2015!

He's had a spectacular year and I wish him the very best, but Taemin is the only Kpop soloist to whose album I've been listening every single day since its release, and that's saying something. Needless to say, it's a matter of personal preference; there's no right or wrong answer, no particular choice that's more legitimate than the other, and nothing whatsoever to war about. Happy 2015!

So.. I started with EXO first but ended up with Taemin as my fav. Both the perfect movements and vocal stay in one person is incredible! its magic! Actually I tried to click the stop and play randomly in his dancing performances, and in every clips he's showing perfect movements. his body is totally mechanically accurate. who's stating that he's too skinny?? look at his choreography! He's definitely healthy and energetic enough, if not, better then most of the people. So when we don't discriminate against the fat, don't do that to the skinny either! That video makes my day!
