Gin Falcon Reflex Wing | Avery Flies

- I've been flying an Ozone Mojo PWR2 for over a year now as my primary wing, and I recently started looking for a new glider. The Gin Falcon is near the top of my list. It is a very fast and sporty reflex paramotor wing for intermediate and advanced pilots. As compared to others I've flown, it feels a lot like the Ozone speedster, and seems to be more responsive than the Ozone Spyder 3 or Apco EZ-R. This is not a good beginner wing, and if I get this as my next ride I will have to take some time to grow into it for sure.
Thanks to Mojos Flight School of Charlotte, NC for the demo! mojosflightschool.com

avery! i finished the maiden electric flight. last time we talk about it. have a look. everything went almost perfectly. power is insane 😮
I like the way that tip steering handle looks!
sorry 2d steering! Only one toggle!
You can do it to your wing too, makes it very twisty turny. Not sure if I prefer separate or together yet. We'll see
I like how you’ve got your gopro 360 mounted!
I can't believe the chase cam took the brunt and didn't damage the prop! RIP Mr. Chase Cam
I know! The plastic mount snapped off, and the prop wasn't going too fast, so I got lucky. I think I will make the line longer so it drags on the ground more, as much as I hate the idea it seems the safest bet.
Do yourself a favor and fly the BDG Luna 2 if you can get your hands on one, it's an excellent choice for a second wing.
I have done a quick rip on a luna as well, and my school is a BGD dealer, so I will try it out also before choosing. I also want to give an Apco F3 a run.
@ the 2:13 mark i see you use a good amount of brake to take off. Do you ever have issues of staling the wing when doing that? Idk why people always say not to go pass your shoulders with brake on take off. Thanks in advance Avery.
Some of it was checking the wing as it launched, it absolutely will shoot past you if you don't check it on inflation, even in Nill wind. Yes, I was using a bit much brakes though. As long as you start easing up progressively as you climb it should be alright.
my thoughts exactly. i dont even dare to hammer brakes like that on my sluggish ENA wing. and i know it can handle it just fine. i need learn that
@@AveryFlies cool. Thanks
Get my gold falcon 2 24m this week
Way too much brakes on takeoff. Your arms are fully extended down on both launches. Let it fly. You won't be able to get away with that on some wings.3rd takeoff arms looked good.
Good to know. I transitioned from checking the wing straight into thrust. Even in Nill wind it would just fling past me
@@AveryFlies Trimm's all in for takeoff and landing?
Yeah! And it still wanted to overshoot on launch. Very excited wing
@@AveryFlies Reflex wings will do that, I have a Sky Flexor (High A - Low B speed wise, but still nice and boaty for a beginner like me), and yes, they just want to fly! Tiny check on the brakes with a forward launch to stop the overfly, and a TINY check on take off to bump you off the ground sooner.
@@1978sjt This needed massive checking on inflation when kiting with no motor, I was really surprised. So motor on my back, I really went hard with it, should've focused more on running and less on braking but hey, it was my first time flying this wing
