  • Paraglider wings are kind of fragile, we already knew that. But what happens when you damage one? Send it to a professional!
Some repair shops I have had personal experience with and can recommend:
    Airquest Paragliding (airquestparagliding.com)
    Cloud9 (paragliders.com)
    Airtoyz (airtoyz.com)
    Mojo's RipAir (mojosgear.com)
    Rising Air (risingair.com)
There are others, please mention a repair shop below if you've had a good experience with them!

I love your honesty and transparency. I think it's very wise, especially in this sport, to never think you are above certain mistakes. It could happen to anyone, none of us are above error. We are all only human after all. In this sport, be humble, or it will make you so. Thank you so much for your videos, I find them very helpful. Have para-spring fever yet?, I do.

Good timing. I recently got attacked by a red-tailed hawk, and got 12 little puncture holes in the top surface of my glider. None larger than 2 inches or so, most much smaller than that. My glider only has 35 hours on it (this one anyway) so I just patched the holes with the included repair tape and flew it again today and it’s all good. None of the holes are on seams, and the manual says that these repairs are ok. I’d like to have it repaired but it will require 6 or 7 panels to be replaced, and that will be a pretty expensive repair for such small holes, so I’m planning on just sending it as it is and inspecting the patches after every flight, then when it’s due for inspection I may get the panels replaced if it isn’t too expensive, that would be mostly for aesthetic purposes and resale value than any concern for it being unsafe.

Hate that happened to you man but you bring up a good point, take your time. I'm itching to go fly in this weather we're having right now but a recent surgery is keeping me ground for right now. Any reason you didn't use Mojo's RipAir for wing repair? Just wondering. Anyway, glad you got it back and look forward to flying with you sometime soon.

No offense to Mojo's RipAir but I knew airquest would be faster. When it isn't time critical I use Mojo's.
