  • Did Hitler really die in a Berlin bunker? Yes of course he did. But this simple truth hasn’t stopped a host of conspiracy theorists claiming the Nazi leader made it safely to South America. So why have these stories taken a hold on the public imagination? Al Murray and James Holland are joined by Luke Daly-Groves, writer of Hitler’s Death: The Case Against Conspiracy, to try and debunk the outlandish theories that still abound.

The best thing about the Netflix show is that they proved that Moe Howard survived the war.

An excellent book, a sign of the times when it had to be written along with Richard Evans's book on various Nazi Conspiracies all of which he regards as being "bad history", bad in that these notions and social media commentaries are of devoid of any factual evidence. Loved James's position on "Hunting Hitler" something that I pondered as I watched it , being paid obviously, but how James H. kept a straight face for so long I will never know. (God at times it was so painful to watch., so many experts, no evidence and so many eye witnesses popping up.)
Loved the debate gents , especially "The Victors Write the History", (missing was "Do your own research", a standard get-out phrase when conspiracy theory folks are cornered.) and as always worth listening to. BTW " Project Grey Wolf" the movie - so awful and yet so funny.
