REALLY like what you've done here... I was INITIALLY put off by Warlord Games/Bolt Action early plastic releases, (being a confirmed metal fan,) but these later releases seem to really work. They seem less FLIMSY than the first releases and fit together much better. The animation is acceptable/very good, the headgear choices/faces are characterful and interesting and YOUR TIP of combining the Supplied Plastic Base with a Metal 25mm Washer gives the figures a SOLIDITY and a HEFT on the table. While you CLEARLY STATED that you built this set directly from the box as supplied, I'd be inclined to add a Russian PPSH 41 or two, (as the Heer/Waffen SS seemed to appropriate these captured SMGS) but of course these couldn't REALISTICALLY be fielded in The Ardennes/Bulge, for example... (Might get away with The Battle Of Berlin, though!!!) A Recent Subscriber, I find your videos really informative and even inspiring. (I will DEFINITELY pick up this set based on your two videos...) Your Matter-Of-Fact appraisals and (if you'll forgive me...) your good-to-Very-Good modelling and painting skills show exactly what can be achieved, with a little skill and imagination, with boxed-plastic-kits like this one... ENJOYING you channel Very Much... xx SF
I believe you've glued the MP40 pouch on upside down @ 4:35 into the video. They should be glued either side of the belt buckle at a 45 degree angle also.

Great looking figures, Warlord keep improving with each set they release. Haven’t bought mine yet but must do soon.
WW2 isn’t normally my thing, but these are really nice looking figures. Could almost persuade me to consider the period. 🙂
Bolt action plastic kits are fantastic and their not horrendously expensive
Muste buy some Winter German infanteri =)) Warhammer is so expensive now.
Oh man this makes me want to buy some of these. Think after space wolves have come out I'm going to focus on getting bolt action before Orks come out
All of the new bolt action plastic kits are excellent
If your still around wargaming illustrated magazine has a sprue on the cover this month.

yeah, probably, eyes aren't what they used to be.
