Although you won’t see much of the prep work in the end we all know it’s been done right. Huge quality to that job, fabulous to see it done this way 👌🏻
Thanks for introducing me to the thirds bond. Just used it on a splashback for a range cooker and it looks awesome. Greg's tips are priceless as is his work. Keep it coming A&E top notch
Great to hear Trevor, we try to be mindful of our video lengths - but we felt Greg's insights and banter warranted the runtime on this occasion! Have an awesome week 👍
I replaced all my corded power tools last month. Grinder, Circular Saw, Jig, Drill, Router with cordless DeWalt and I purchased 4 extra batteries. I WISH I HAD DONE IT YEARS AGO. I only do DIY but the difference they make is inexplicable. A bad workman always blames his tools! With DeWalt it's not the case. I would always have to muck about with my old power tools, with my new DeWalt every task is a one take ! I LOVE THEM and I love Yellow ! I think I understand Cold Play now 😜
Lovely job Greg, recently did my bathroom so appreciate your skill set as there is so much to consider! I learnt the hard way that the wall/ floor has to be absolutely plumb, true and level or your going to hate yourself 🤣 cheers M
Tiling was my first trade....this has caused me to dust off the tools and wanna rip up the floors I laid last year....love the tool bants I miss that.... Can you list the music you play over too..... Amazing job and throughly enjoyed watching that....
Some great work I would love to be half as good as this guy. Would liked to have seen how the expansion joint was done. That said loved the video, really enjoyed it
Great video. Question on the expansion joint, he mentioned when over 7m, an expansion joint is needed. What about in the other direction, across the room, that looked greater than 7m. Would one not be required in that plane
Awesome, meticulous detail. great job guys. I watched until the obviously, will you be mentioning how to get into the industry or on board at a later stage? Exceptional work as usual from the A&E team. I keep watching!
Hi Vincent, many thanks for the kind words. We’re aiming to do a podcast soon with Greg which will go into detail about his origins in the trade etc. have an awesome week! 😊👍
Excellent work lads. In Ireland here a lot won’t pay for the matting especially for screed floors, use it on every wooden substrates… which we recommend…. All grief comes back on the tilers tho… 🙄
Hey buddy it’s on the 28th March, I can’t wait the response we have had is incredible and I can’t thank everyone enough for being involved and getting involved I’am truly humbled by it all, it’s one of the reasons we had to move the date to the 28th because of the response have a awesome week all the best Tony 👍
Great looking job Greg done there, did he set the actual shower base into place, if so what product did he use? When will John design the logo for the tee shirts being sent out to viewers who sent books in for the podcast room?
Hi Kevin my sincere apologies, I’am to blame for this nobody else. I must confess I have got a little side tracked because of the exciting thing that we are bringing to everyone but it’s not an excuse I will get onto it this week please confirm your size so I can organise, I will check to make sure we have your details if not we can send you a message. Once again my apologies all the best Tony 👍

That little trick of drilling the corners out on L and U cuts is brilliant
Greg is the tiling champion! I absolutely enjoyed listening to him bigging-up his DeWalt tools!
Thanks for watching Juliet! Have a great week! 😊👍

I thought 35 minutes was going to be long for a tiling vid but I honestly enjoyed every moment of this.

Another quality job, love the offset bond on the tiles 👌👏👏

Great job Greg and I am with you on the dewalt tools I do like dewalt but flooring will look great when completed take care guys
Bit of a milwaukee fan here. They do some good plumbing specific tools and it's easier to keep to one system.
DeWalt here, been building my set up for 15 years + and nothing has let me down yet.
lovely video, learnt so much

Great video and quality work, what joint size did you use on the kitchen floor?
Great video. Question on the expansion joint, he mentioned when over 7m, an expansion joint is needed. What about in the other direction, across the room, that looked greater than 7m. Would one not be required in that plane
Can that decoupling matt be laid directly onto T&G chipboard flooring that has been sealed with Mapei G Primer?
Great video Greg, i am off to sub on the Insta....always learn a lot from skilled tradespeople. Best wishes
A&E is where quality lives.
Definitely give Greg a follow Bob, he posts some great updates and content from his projects. Have an awesome week Bob! 😎👍
Really need a video on how to work out and measure awkward cuts please 😆
One for the future definitely 😉 thanks for watching!
Lovely work as usual, got any recommendations for a good dry cut blade for polished porcelain? I’ve tried a few and I’m never happy with the results
Awesome job
Thank you bud! Have an awesome week 👍
Great video as always!! What's the rationale behind back buttering, suggested for all tiles or just larger format ones? Cheers!!

Great video guys! Always love seeing the transformation of a room once it’s tiled! Love a tool debate but I think DeWalt only takes 2% of my arsenal
Hi Ed much appreciated, very true about the tiles going down always nice to see, me to Dewalt radio only 😂 have a awesome week all the best Tony 👍
Hi Greg, I noticed you don’t use any edging strips on your wall tiles , is this recommended to amateur tilers ??? Fantastic job mate 💜👊🏻
He had a trim where the tiling finished on the edge of the tray. Its only place you would use a trim in the areas he tiled in this bathroom.
Great video, really found some useful tips, what make of hand tile cutter do you use btw at 28.23 ?
Excellent work lads. In Ireland here a lot won’t pay for the matting especially for screed floors, use it on every wooden substrates… which we recommend…. All grief comes back on the tilers tho… 🙄

@@BuildWithAE Ok thank you for all the details, i will set a reminder on my phone now. Cheers Tony 👍
Nice job, how many days in all that ?
Expansion joints are at 5 metre intervals here in NZ
Why do you use dual base matting and not ditra ? Any reason I just hit ditra 🤔😊?
Great to see you recommend & use decoupling membranes, far too often it's ommitted.
Thanks Stu! Have an awesome week 👍
Excelente 👌🏻 👌🏻 👌🏻 👌🏻
¡Gracias Vianka!
Do the big tile spacers just snap off👍👍🍺🍺
Yes buddy
Kick them parallel to the joint

That one floor tile facing the wrong way 🤦🏻♂️an otherwise class job.
Decent, how come the joints weren't in the middle of tile
Hi Neil it’s the bond the clients wanted all the best Tony 👍
A lot of longer tiles also don't recommend anything more than 3rd bond because of the bow in the tiles. Not the case here just a client preference
Sorry about your opinions about Dewalt but Makita is the BEST :)
Btw hikoki tools are the best
Tony would agree! 😉👍
Montolit cutter all day long 👍
Great product! Greg has a fair bit of Montolit in his tool arsenal. Have an awesome week 👍

Dewalt 🙄🙄 just a cheap black and decker product 😂😂😂 better of with proper German technology and use Bosch

As my old boss use to say Dewalt is only B&D in a suit...Bosch user here
