Idk why but 0:15 had me cackling with the little shoot out growl hahaha. Great video as usual! I do believe you've got more info out on the Markpoint than anyone else on the net. That low velocity by comparison on the MK IV is pretty disappointing. Seems like the Markpoint is the better buy. Keep up the great work 👍
Thanks man, when I filmed that I expected I would cut out the “gun fight” I thought it was funny so I left it in. Glad you got a chuckle out of it. Hey I gotta ask have you considered becoming a member. It’s 99 cents a month but the few that have joined are some of the really knowledgeable frequent contributors. I’d love to see you there and I think you might enjoy it.
I looked at both pistols for my latest project. I choose the Markpoint over the Ruger for the longer sight radius as well as the slightly higher velocities. I plan to work on the trigger and perhaps mount a picatinny rail for use with an aimpoint type sight. I have never liked the Ruger's grip angle , another reason to go with the Markpoint. I have the older Ruger mk 1 and with some trigger work and a scope is a squirrel killer out to 25 yards. I enjoyed your two vids on these guns!
I've been on the fence about the markpoint. But for the price point, I don't think I can pass it up. I have a feeling there will be some good future support for this in the community.
The mark point is definitely made to be utilized I have one myself now and oh boy have I had fun ! .. It’s seems The mark 4 is like u said made to look good. I haven’t shot myself yet personally but ultimately from your reviews seems like a great collectble add
Yeah I really think the mark point is a better gun. That’s probably because it was made to be a good product. Meanwhile the ruger seems to only be a plinker or even just a show gun. Though they both have their benefits the mark point is hands down better preformance wise.
Yes, you have stated it pretty well. Too bad you’re not in the drawing for the Markpoint. It’s 99 cents a moth for membership. Supposedly when I get enough members they allow me to give memberships away. It may be a while before that happens though. I just think that given your interest level you may enjoy it.
No problem, you’re an asset to the channel. As far as the Markpoint verses Ruger, I think part of the difference is Umarex has to satisfy any Ruger licensing and design requirements (ie. Mare it out of metal, fiber optic sight, adjustable sight and so on. Then Umarex has to produce something that satisfies themselves as well as Ruger. They have to pay for the licensing and them provide so form of profit sharing. So they didn’t have the design control and profitability that they do with the Markpoint.
Thanks. I’ve wondered about the silver finish myself. I’ve seen it shown on UA-cam but as you point out, I’ve not actually seen it for sale in person or online in the US.
The MK4 doesn't make sense imho. The airsoft counterpart shoots even with a higher fps and accurate with 6mm bb's on CO2 and far more less moving parts. Build quality wise, it isn't worth to invest.

@@AlsAirgunsI have in fact joined at the 99 cent tier! Been really enjoying your members only content and the knowledge on display there 👍
@@Arcahnslight Awesome. Thank you. Watch for a posting this weekend and be sure to vote.
Ahhh, So you show in members as Sir Malcom?
@@AlsAirgunsYes sir. I'm not sure why it's different here vs there. Haven't been able to figure that one out.

Thanks much appreciated. Good luck on your project.
I'm interested to see your rail solution, personally I'd like to add a rear aperture sight
Great VIDEO keep up the great work.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.

Yeah I unfortunately don’t have methods of electronic payment. And my parents aren’t too keen on paying money for UA-cam memberships
@@kostasmellos8961 I totally understand. If I earn some from UA-cam one has your name on it.
Well thank you very much!!!

Good pt2 review, really would like to find the mk 1v in silver. Guess ya can't get that color in the USA.

Any experience with the Diana Airbug or the Artemis cp-1M
I have not but they’re on my radar. They look pretty good and I know they’re very popular.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Idk why his numbers are that low the gun is suppose to shoot around 280-320 fps with average weight pellets
So the mark 4 not shooting any mice any time there shot at that for sure💯👍 ✌️ i also diss like automatic safety
Not likely. Just not much power and darn tough to hit with. 🤷🏻♂️
