Neither am I from the South nor the Heartland where a lot of these ideals and lyrics are so closely-held-I'm from suburban New York. So obviously, I can't relate to a lot of the things in this song. But I am an Infantryman in the Army, and I heard one of my buddies playing this song. I found this video afterwards, and the lyric, "I wish everybody overseas was gonna make it home," followed by the crowd's raucous cheering nearly instantly made me tear up. I'm not deployed currently (yet) but I may be soon, and just knowing how much country artists and fans appreciate the servicemen and servicewomen humbles me in ways I can't really articulate. I just thought I'd come by and say thanks to Riley and all his fans for their love and support, God bless you all ✌️❤️🇺🇸

I most likely have less than 2 weeks and he is in the hospital and I regret not going in to see him one day even tho we were only there for 5 minutes. Make sure you NEVER take time for granted.
