Hey good video, I was looking for that because I wanted to install windows 10 on the usb, Thanks !, hey, I have a toshiba satellite c850 laptop which had an intel celeron b830 cpu, I decided to upgrade because it was a 2-core CPU at 1.80 ghz with intel HD graphics, which I bought a processor from an online store, specifically an intel core i3 3120M with 4 cores and intel HD graphics 4000, the problem is that I think the laptop has a bios lock or something, and every 30 minutes the computer is shut down by force. I tried another processor, exactly an intel core i3 2350M with 4 cores and intel HD graphics 3000, and the same thing happens, and with the factory processor does not turn off or anything, it is not a problem of the ram, or the disks. Could you explain me why exactly at 30 minutes it goes off ,? It is not problem of temperatures, because they are very stable and the heatsink has new thermal paste. I have searched for more than 4 months and I have not found anything ... Could you help me? ☹️

I'm so confused pls reply for this query what is the difference between both the video ? You used one method in 10.50 video and other method in this video which method do i need to use? If i use the first method in 10.50 video which you kept in description and insert it into pc and jus by pressing esc button can i do live usb. So what's the purpose of this one again using another method to store the windows in to the usb ?

Very helpful, Sir 1 question, in 2nd method you could have connected ssd to laptop via the external sata cable u hv, while the hdd is inside and used the same 1st method software to create live ssd.

Great tutorial and very useful, btw after creating the live usb, can the usb be restored back into a normal removable disk? Can the windows 10 OS on the usb be erased and reused as a normal usb?
yes it can just format it as FAT32 and not NTFS

Would you know how to do this but on a linux laptop? I'm running peppermint os which is based on debian. awesome video by the way! I too am using a Lenovo ThinkPad but the model of mine is the SL410 circa 2011 i believe. I got it off ebay and installed Linux on it and it runs great.

How can i access my hdd when im booted
It says that the computer reads it when i go to task manager as well as i see my procesor
But when i go to local files/my pc all there is is just the usb drive
Getting an error anytime I try this. Says it cannot read the WIM file and asks me to disable any virus scan programs. Problem is, I have it disabled already. No idea how to fix this. =(
LOL, my 16GB 3.0 wasn't big enough. That would be the end to this day. Full disclaimer: must be 32 gig USB 3.0 or better.
just use rufus and u can do it on a simple 8gb pendrive

I used SanDisk Cruzer Blade 16GB and this method went perfect 100%.
After installing Windows 10, I still have 7GB free memory on this USB flash drive.
How come this method uses so much less space than installing directly on HDD or SSD? I don't understand. It usually takes up about 30 GB of storage on my laptop or desktop PC once I've finished setting up all the drivers. 🤔

If it’s a model from before 2007, you can enter the BIOS tapping F10 after turning it on, models after 2007, you have to tap ESC after switching it on and afterwards tap F10 in the menu selection to go to the BIOS settings. Cheers.

No, you won’t loose anything but don’t pull up the USB while windows is running; should shutdown it first.

@@cerenkocer1518 if you are working on Macos and the usb is plugged in, just eject the usb as normal( right click on usb drive and select eject). But if you were working on Windows, you must shutdown the Windows then pull the usb out.

Hi, I can't install doing method 1 because I have Win 10 Enterprise and give me the error that WinToUSB doesn't support Win Enterprise. I choose Win 10 Home. How can I install Win 10 Home? It must be done on other SO and it works on that laptop with Win 10 Enterprise?
Use a tool called Rufus USB. Select the "Windows to go" option after selecting your ISO file.

Free version of WintoUSB does not support creating ANY windows on usb. Dont support these cheats from Hasleo software. Find other solutions.
Useless. do not waste time, Free version can not create USB, you need paid version... Better use command line tools from Windows for free.

Yo can put in dvd-r
It will be too slow if you run normal Windows 10, you have to put Windows into a ramdisk (boot.wim) and do some workarounds to make it an offline system
Also if you use DVD-R (the worst DVD integration ever) and it is only 4.7GB, Windows 10 will not be burned because of not enough drive space, you need at least a DVD+R DL (8GB) or DVD-RAM (9GB) or BD-RE (25GB)
