Thank you for this video! I practised with my children before we went on holiday and they loved us speaking in the language my 6 year old was introducing herself and her family. Our tour guide on one of our excursions was very impressed. Thank you so much your teaching style is amazing
I teach English as a second language to elementary 5th grade in a 100% French-speaking region of Quebec. I have a new student who just immigrated from Tunisia arriving soon. Your video is pretty much what I was looking for, thanks.
Exactly, most twensa (tunisians) would say 'chismik', and once we share our name we say back to the other person 'chismik enti' then 'ntcharfou'. Writing Tounsi (tunisian language) with the Latin alphabet we use the French 'ch' for 'sh'
Amazing to see your interest in Tunisian culture and language. Absolutely love the content!! Just thought I'd chip in for the toilette it would be "Ween/Feen i'toilette". The i is a very, very quickly pronounced 'il' to the point you cannot hear the 'L'
I like to think of "Le bes" translatrs as (All is well) so it makes sense as a question and an identical response. Me : All is well? You : All is well. 😊
Tunisian is the easiest North African language and very easy compared to other languages. I think it coule be in the top 10 easiest languages to learn. Also you wrote many things wrong and missprounounced everything but still understandable.
I’m at Tunisian girl but I can’t speak English French Almon and too many other languages and Tunisia is a something when you could learn all the languages you want
All dialects of the current Arab countries differ a lot from Arabic that they've become languages themselves. It's like you're saying Spanish and Italian are dialects of the Latin language. Which is partially correct. They share many of the same structures, words, expressions etc but now they are independent languages and check all the boxes required for what makes a language a language. The only difference they're only spoken and linguists didn't document them. Also, almost everyone who were born in any Arab country have diglossia , which is the use of two languages under different conditions within the same community.
haha i feel so bad to mention it, but your pronounciation is too far off. If it was accurate chances would be higher that non-speakers would hit the right pronounciation, but cuz you abused the offset like that, i doubt anyone would understand viewers of your video when they use the phares IRL.
its not la bes how you sai it, its Le bes. How i know? I,m half tunisian from father side ;) when you go away from a friend,s home or a fmily you say bi slema ;) But for anyone who forget use the most famous salam aleikum☺So now masaa il cheer everyone 🥲

There is no such thing called Tunisia language, the people of Tunisia speak Arabic
