The level of collab on this is amazing... If you pay attention to the sound, you'll notice that: Rhythm section on 1st verse is Akane (drum) and Ale (bass) while on the second verse it's Pau (drum) and Misa (bass). As for the verses, on the first one, Saiki takes the lead while Dany harmonize on the lower 5th. On the second, Dany takes the lead while Saiki harmonize on the lower 3rd and on the final one, both singers take the high road and sing lead in unisson. Brilliant arrangement.

Kanami wrote most of the original material. The final arrangement was done when everyone was together. BAND-MAID are incredible musicians. As a hardcore TWA member, I can't stress how good B-M are. The Maidiacs are awesome fans too. Please show them love. I love Misa, the bassist. Her technique is flawless. She cried because she didn't get to spend enough time with Ale. Check out The Warning’s Vlog of their time with Band-Maid. They are amazing together, working together on the song in the same room. Their friendship and affection for each other can be summed by the two bassists who became very close. Band-Maid’s bassist Misa was in tears when she and Ale said goodbye. Misa’s bass outro at the end of this song, a tribute to Ale’s bass outro in TW’s song Survive. The Warning have invited Band-Maid to perform with them in Mexico and teach them to sing in Spanish.
I was at the show they did tigether in Tokyo. There was no battling, they were celebrating each other's skills. The love and respect they have for each other was palpable. If you watch the most recent video of their time with Band Maid. The memvers of BM are simply incredible musicians. They make it look easy. The live orrformamce was even better.

A great friendship binds these 8 young women since the Aftershock festival in 2022 and a wish to work in a common project. It is likely that another collaboration song with The Warning will be made in 2025 in Mexico, a country that loves Band-Maid very much because they did one of their first full concerts there in 2016 during their first international tour. This is a great collaboration between two powerhouse bands that just happen to be friends, too! A collaboration, not a competition, just fun rockin music!
It's funny you said that it was more like a Band-Maid sound because it didn't sound like The Warning. Many of us, Band-Maid fans, thought that it was The Warning style song when we listened to it for the first time. It turned out that Kanami (Band-Maid's lead guitarist/the main composer of this song) wanted to create a song neither band would typically do. The Warning chipped in many ideas, and the end result was this song!
So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. They went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to go to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color. There is now a behind the scenes video of the two bands together on TW's YT channel. So band-Maid’s shtick is dressing as French maids. Miku, the rythm guitarist, worked in a maid café where the servers dress as French maids. She had the bright idea to build a rock band with all dressed as maids. So she recruited the others. They are Saiki, singer, Kanami, lead guitarist, Miku, rythm guitarist, Akane, drummer, and Misa, bassist.
During their live performance of this in Tokyo, everyone was playing except for when they stepped back for the other doing their brief solos. It is quite an achievement that both drummers and both bassists were so tight that you don't notice even the slightest error in synchronization. Kanami, BMs lead guitarist is quite a shredder, but her style is a good bit different than Dany's. It's kind of like comparing two sunrises. It's pointless to try to figure out which one you like best. Kanami composed the initial draft of this song with TW in mind. They worked together with TW to arrive at this arrangement. It kind of strikes a balance between the two of the groups' styles. For your reference BM consists of Akane on drums, Misa on bass, Miku on rhythm guitar, Kanami on lead guitar, and Saiki on lead vocals. There is a behind the scenes video on The Warning's YT channel. It shows the collaboration and the strong bonds and deep respect they have for one another.
For my money THE 2 best active rock bands going right now. Band Maid is a genre all of their own. The way they mix rock, pop, metal, pop-punk, progressive, the-kitchen-sink, etc., is amazing. All at the highest level, too. You already love The Warning so I don’t need to tell you how special they are!
Band-Maid was delighted to open for The Warning in Tokyo this year. They met at Aftershock in 2022 and promised to get together to "Do Something Together". It's taken awhile, but they finally did it when The Warning finally toured Japan. Band-Maid was extremely busy in 2023 doing their lengthy Tenth Anniversary Tour, while writing songs and recording a new album, and planning the marathon tour final at Yokohama Arena.
Music composed by Kanami (Band-Maid) to accommodate both bands styles. Which as you say, not sounding like either prticularly, but a mix of both. This collaboration has been in the pipeline since 2022 when they met each other at a festival in the US. In some part due to the fact that most views for Thrill, as song that made Band-Maid in 2015, came from Mexico strangely enough. Show Them was recorded in Japan when The Warning did a 3 date tour recently, with both bands appearing together- just to do this song, at one show. Show Them is on Band-Maids new album, due 25 Sept. Two great bands- hope you enjoyed Band-Maid. They are all exceptional musicians.
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 Band-Maid is one of the best bands in our country, especially in live performance. I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played together (once and only to date) as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Tokyo. My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣 (FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other. 😄)

Band Maid is more hard rock than metal. Saiki on lead vocals, Miku is rhythm guitar, band founder, and primary lyricist. Misa on bass, Kanami on lead guitar , and drummer Akane. Miku used to work at a Japanese maid cafe, the maid aesthetic was her vision. Song will be on Band Maids upcoming album. Been together over 10 years now. The Warning went to Japan in June for 3 concerts, 1 with Band Maid. TW went over a couple weeks early, met up with Band Maid, finished the song, and recorded the MV. They did play it live , with all 8 ladies on stage, but only a short teaser clip had been officially released. Kanami composed the song, making it challenging, wrote it in a key higher than Dany or Saiki usually sing in. Lyrics by Miku and The Warning. In the lead up to the mv release, shorts were posted highlighting the 'duels', ALe vs Misa, Pau vs Akane, etc. Miku got a solo short. In an interview on PRS Guitars Japan, with Kanami and Dany, they said the bands should do a return engagement in Mexico. Dany made the challenge to do a song in Spanish. Band Maid’s schtick if you will when they started, was to all dress in maid’s costumes, hence the name. The Warning recently released a heart-warming BTS Vlog on their channel of their visit to Tokyo and working with Band Maid. Sure you guys would enjoy it! 😎👍
From Japan Thank you for your interest in BAND-MAID. I was at the concert where this song was played for the first time. The first performance was amazing, with the band and the audience united. This song is a song that everyone sings together in the venue. To see what BAND-MAID can do, the instrumental song "From now on" is a good choice. It's the song they start their live performances with at festivals. For rock songs, I recommend "Thrill", "Dice" and "Puzzle".

This collab screams "GIRL POWER!" The two bands and their production crew NAILED this video! Dany, of The Warning, hinted that the two bands plan a future collab together. They both had respect for each other before the met at a music festival in the U.S. and really liked each other and stated that they would love to do a collab together and it happened. Band-Maid and The Warning may become the new "Power Couple" in rock.
@@TouchyReactions Band-Maid sings mostly in a hybrid of Japanese and English. They have a few songs in straight English, but most songs are a combo of both. Miku, the lyricist and founder, likes to mix the languages to be inclusive of all their fans. (it's pretty common in Japanese music in general, but not to this degree.) Especially for live shows so everyone can join in, no matter their native language. Good thing is that most videos also contain well translated captions to help. (Funny enough, plenty of B-M fans have taken to learning a bit of Japanese over the years, myself included.) However, don't be surprised if Miku ends up writing lyrics with some Spanish words one day. ぽ
Thanks for the reaction…I became a fan of The Warning after I saw the post of them meeting at the festival 2 years ago. Now I’m part of the TWA. They are fans of each other and you can see the respect they have for each other. These two bands didn’t just talk about a collaboration but actually did it. This songs was more for Band-Maid since it is being released on their new album “Epic Narrative”. There is also a PRS interview with Dany and Kanami where it was hinted that there is more to come with Band-Maid going to Mexico with TW composing the song and challenging BM to sing in Spanish. Band-Maid and The Warning met at the Aftershock festival in 2022 ! Both Bands usually play a heavier style of rock music ! Folks, I wish you'd have gotten a chance to listen to Band-Maid sooner. They were in Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte and Silver Spring, MD. (Nearest destinations to you.) They were, of course, in other cities in the US in 2022 and 2023.

But do check out more BAND-MAID. There's nothing they can't do, so they tend to do it all. You'll never get to the bottom of that Pigeon Hole. They just did their 10th Anniversary Tour last year with well over 130 songs and counting. They appeared in a movie and have many anime theme songs and even appeared in anime form themselves.

Great reaction you guys. Band-Maid is miles away different IMHO than Babymetal. With Babymetal you have these cute girls dancing and singing out front with metal musicians in the shadows behind them. A different dynamic and sound. They’re good but I enjoy Band-Maid far more. This collaboration is a fun one.
I've genuinely said since I first heard both bands at the end of 2021 that Band-Maid is the best band this century and The Warning is the best in the West today. You should definitely check out more Band-Maid. I highly suggest Domination LIVE (NOT the MV) and Hate Live just to start. While those songs are easy go-to's for their live performances, their versatility in rock is unmatched by any band today. You have to go back to say Queen to find another band with such versatility. A decade in and they're still finding new subgenres in rock they master on the first try.
The song was cleverly written. Both bands can also include it in their programme. It has the typical length of The Warning songs, but can easily be extended with the typical Band Maid solos. Who is playing the instruments is irrelevant. Everyone can show off their skills. Only the vocals need some work. But I think it would work with just Saiki or Danny's voice. Including the harmonies of Miku or Pau or Ale.

Kanami (Band Maids' Lead guitarist and songwriter) wrote this song with A LOT of input from The Warning, so this song is pretty much "Middle Ground" for both bands. Both are different in terms of sound and style, but both are great. It is easy to be a fan of both... which I am. In am a "Maidiac" which has signed up for "The Warning Army". Ale is a great bassist (plus she's beautiful, but MISA, the (lead bassist), is considered many many critics and musicians alike as one of the best bassists in the world. You need to start reacting to Band-Maid's videos, especially their official live videos. I suggest you react to "Hate?", the official live video by Band-Maid as a start. The band has over 130 recorded songs in their musical catalog.

The level of collab on this is amazing... If you pay attention to the sound, you'll notice that: Rhythm section on 1st verse is Akane (drum) and Ale (bass) while on the second verse it's Pau (drum) and Misa (bass). As for the verses, on the first one, Saiki takes the lead while Dany harmonize on the lower 5th. On the second, Dany takes the lead while Saiki harmonize on the lower 3rd and on the final one, both singers take the high road and sing lead in unisson. Brilliant arrangement.

Check out The Warning’s Vlog of their time with Band-Maid. They are amazing together, working together on the song in the same room. Their friendship and affection for each other can be summed by the two bassists who became very close. Band-Maid’s bassist Misa was in tears when she and Ale said goodbye. Misa’s bass outro at the end of this song, a tribute to Ale’s bass outro in TW’s song Survive. The Warning have invited Band-Maid to perform with them in Mexico and teach them to sing in Spanish.

A great friendship binds these 8 young women since the Aftershock festival in 2022 and a wish to work in a common project. It is likely that another collaboration song with The Warning will be made in 2025 in Mexico, a country that loves Band-Maid very much because they did one of their first full concerts there in 2016 during their first international tour. And the audience was very enthusiastic. Likewise, The Warning will become very popular in Japan and they deserve it. Thanks

It's funny you said that it was more like a Band-Maid sound because it didn't sound like The Warning.
Many of us, Band-Maid fans, thought that it was The Warning style song when we listened to it for the first time.
It turned out that Kanami (Band-Maid's lead guitarist/the main composer of this song) wanted to create a song neither band would typically do. The Warning chipped in many ideas, and the end result was this song!
So a true collaboration. Nice.

So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. They went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to go to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color. There is now a behind the scenes video of the two bands together on TW's YT channel.
So band-Maid’s shtick is dressing as French maids. Miku, the rythm guitarist, worked in a maid café where the servers dress as French maids. She had the bright idea to build a rock band with all dressed as maids. So she recruited the others. They are Saiki, singer, Kanami, lead guitarist, Miku, rythm guitarist, Akane, drummer, and Misa, bassist.
So cool for both bands.
During their live performance of this in Tokyo, everyone was playing except for when they stepped back for the other doing their brief solos. It is quite an achievement that both drummers and both bassists were so tight that you don't notice even the slightest error in synchronization. Kanami, BMs lead guitarist is quite a shredder, but her style is a good bit different than Dany's. It's kind of like comparing two sunrises. It's pointless to try to figure out which one you like best. Kanami composed the initial draft of this song with TW in mind. They worked together with TW to arrive at this arrangement. It kind of strikes a balance between the two of the groups' styles. For your reference BM consists of Akane on drums, Misa on bass, Miku on rhythm guitar, Kanami on lead guitar, and Saiki on lead vocals. There is a behind the scenes video on The Warning's YT channel. It shows the collaboration and the strong bonds and deep respect they have for one another.

Band-Maid was delighted to open for The Warning in Tokyo this year. They met at Aftershock in 2022 and promised to get together to "Do Something Together". It's taken awhile, but they finally did it when The Warning finally toured Japan. Band-Maid was extremely busy in 2023 doing their lengthy Tenth Anniversary Tour, while writing songs and recording a new album, and planning the marathon tour final at Yokohama Arena.
Music composed by Kanami (Band-Maid) to accommodate both bands styles. Which as you say, not sounding like either prticularly, but a mix of both. This collaboration has been in the pipeline since 2022 when they met each other at a festival in the US. In some part due to the fact that most views for Thrill, as song that made Band-Maid in 2015, came from Mexico strangely enough. Show Them was recorded in Japan when The Warning did a 3 date tour recently, with both bands appearing together- just to do this song, at one show. Show Them is on Band-Maids new album, due 25 Sept. Two great bands- hope you enjoyed Band-Maid. They are all exceptional musicians.

I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played together (once and only to date) as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Tokyo. My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣
(FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other. 😄)

Band Maid is more hard rock than metal. Saiki on lead vocals, Miku is rhythm guitar, band founder, and primary lyricist. Misa on bass, Kanami on lead guitar , and drummer Akane. Miku used to work at a Japanese maid cafe, the maid aesthetic was her vision. Song will be on Band Maids upcoming album. Been together over 10 years now.
The Warning went to Japan in June for 3 concerts, 1 with Band Maid. TW went over a couple weeks early, met up with Band Maid, finished the song, and recorded the MV. They did play it live , with all 8 ladies on stage, but only a short teaser clip had been officially released.
Kanami composed the song, making it challenging, wrote it in a key higher than Dany or Saiki usually sing in. Lyrics by Miku and The Warning.
In the lead up to the mv release, shorts were posted highlighting the 'duels', ALe vs Misa, Pau vs Akane, etc. Miku got a solo short.
In an interview on PRS Guitars Japan, with Kanami and Dany, they said the bands should do a return engagement in Mexico. Dany made the challenge to do a song in Spanish.
There is a live version, but fan cam footage. DO NOT react to that fan cam version, many that did got copyright strikes. Hoping they officially release the live soon.

Thank you for your interest in BAND-MAID. I was at the concert where this song was played for the first time. The first performance was amazing, with the band and the audience united. This song is a song that everyone sings together in the venue.
To see what BAND-MAID can do, the instrumental song "From now on" is a good choice. It's the song they start their live performances with at festivals. For rock songs, I recommend "Thrill", "Dice" and "Puzzle".

This collab screams "GIRL POWER!" The two bands and their production crew NAILED this video! Dany, of The Warning, hinted that the two bands plan a future collab together. They both had respect for each other before the met at a music festival in the U.S. and really liked each other and stated that they would love to do a collab together and it happened. Band-Maid and The Warning may become the new "Power Couple" in rock.
Does Band-Maid usually sing in English?
@@TouchyReactions Band-Maid sings mostly in a hybrid of Japanese and English. They have a few songs in straight English, but most songs are a combo of both. Miku, the lyricist and founder, likes to mix the languages to be inclusive of all their fans. (it's pretty common in Japanese music in general, but not to this degree.) Especially for live shows so everyone can join in, no matter their native language. Good thing is that most videos also contain well translated captions to help. (Funny enough, plenty of B-M fans have taken to learning a bit of Japanese over the years, myself included.) However, don't be surprised if Miku ends up writing lyrics with some Spanish words one day. ぽ

Thanks for the reaction…I became a fan of The Warning after I saw the post of them meeting at the festival 2 years ago. Now I’m part of the TWA. They are fans of each other and you can see the respect they have for each other. These two bands didn’t just talk about a collaboration but actually did it. This songs was more for Band-Maid since it is being released on their new album “Epic Narrative”. There is also a PRS interview with Dany and Kanami where it was hinted that there is more to come with Band-Maid going to Mexico with TW composing the song and challenging BM to sing in Spanish. One thing you will learn about BM is they love challenges and trying new things.

It's not a BAND-MAID song or a Warning song. But it's what it had to be for both bands to do their thing without it becoming a train wreck, which in itself is amazing. But do check out more BAND-MAID. There's nothing they can't do, so they tend to do it all. You'll never get to the bottom of that Pigeon Hole. They just did their 10th Anniversary Tour last year with well over 130 songs and counting. They appeared in a movie and have many anime theme songs and even appeared in anime form themselves.

And a thing about the maid outfits, Ryan & Cindy: as Fans and Maidiacs know, Miku -- the 2nd guitarist, lyricist, founder and who worked at a maid cafe -- wanted to show that everyday working "Kawaii" girls dressed as maids in high heels while having fun and smiling could rock as hard as any guy band sweating it up in their hip, poor tortured artists "outfits"... and by showing that contrast (the Gap), it would generate interest, which it so successfully has done! It also represents Woman Power (Equality), which is an important theme with the Maids.
Now they show up as Maids for all band business and interviews, etc. and have created a long-lasting, unmistakable, visual band brand. Very cleaver, Miku. Your diabolical plan for world domination is working, Po! Of course, none of this would work if their music and stage performance wasn't at such a remarkably high level. Band-Maid is considered by many of their fans and Maidiacs to be the best hard rock band in the world - maid outfits and all!

Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Don’t Let Me Down, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

Great reaction you guys. Band-Maid is miles away different IMHO than Babymetal. With Babymetal you have these cute girls dancing and singing out front with metal musicians in the shadows behind them. A different dynamic and sound. They’re good but I enjoy Band-Maid far more. This collaboration is a fun one.

I've genuinely said since I first heard both bands at the end of 2021 that Band-Maid is the best band this century and The Warning is the best in the West today. You should definitely check out more Band-Maid. I highly suggest Domination LIVE (NOT the MV) and Hate Live just to start. While those songs are easy go-to's for their live performances, their versatility in rock is unmatched by any band today. You have to go back to say Queen to find another band with such versatility. A decade in and they're still finding new subgenres in rock they master on the first try.

The song was cleverly written. Both bands can also include it in their programme. It has the typical length of The Warning songs, but can easily be extended with the typical Band Maid solos. Who is playing the instruments is irrelevant. Everyone can show off their skills. Only the vocals need some work. But I think it would work with just Saiki or Danny's voice. Including the harmonies of Miku or Pau or Ale.

Kanami (Band Maids' Lead guitarist and songwriter) wrote this song with A LOT of input from The Warning, so this song is pretty much "Middle Ground" for both bands. Both are different in terms of sound and style, but both are great. It is easy to be a fan of both... which I am. In am a "Maidiac" which has signed up for "The Warning Army".
As for YOUR next Band-Maid songs....... I'll go against the grain...... Try.... Warning, Manners, Dice, Puzzle (Live).

Ale is a great bassist (plus she's beautiful, but MISA, the (lead bassist), is considered many many critics and musicians alike as one of the best bassists in the world. You need to start reacting to Band-Maid's videos, especially their official live videos. I suggest you react to "Hate?", the official live video by Band-Maid as a start. The band has over 130 recorded songs in their musical catalog.

Compared to "Show Them", most of Band-Maid's songs are faster, with lots of riffs (melodic and rhythmic), with longer guitar solos, heavier double bass pedal presence, an aggressive melodic bass, and fast-phrasing lyrics... the next one could be a good example of some of these characteristics, "Blooming":

No, it doesn't sound like BM or TW. Here is a typical Band-Maid BAND-MAID / HATE? (Official Live Video).
BM girls play instruments themselves, and very masterfully, and also write their own music.
For information, Japanese rock and metal has more than 200 groups, and they are all different, it is huge.
BabyMetal is more of an idol project with metal music. And the other groups are not like it. If there is interest, I can share the most interesting groups and singers.
