@@stateofmind578yep. Each open world has a hospital esque place where you can buy books that increase your stamina or health. And you buy them with medicine bottles
Yeah, I was going to point this out as well. Her office is in a little alcove in a street not far from where Antonios office is, she is behind a counter with a little book display on it.
It boggles my mind that you didn't think to pick up the medicine bottles, how long have you been playing video games for? Even if it was a usable item, you should be picking everything up that isn't nailed down that can be placed in a backpack with no carrying limit.
Its literally a game made for horderes and cleptomainacts if you can move it pick it up. I found a code for a chest that revealed when I turned a lamp off! Blew my mind. Love this game. Indis outfit auto equips when you enter a restricted area. Not true if you're in a restricted zone and you have the correct outfit your OK as long as its not a capitan they will alway recognise you if you get to close
One tip I wish I paid attention to earlier is getting the camera as soon as possible at the Vatican. I opted to explore before visiting the post office, but that was a mistake. Get the camera first, THEN explore. Pay attention to the camera icon to take pictures and gain adventure points. Some side missings require your camera, and you can whittle away at them early on by having the camera handy.
When fighting, is you parry, follow up with a hit opposite side of parry. For instance, enemy punches you right side, parry and use left trigger. If you hit same side as parry, u will only push enemy away.
Opposite actually Pressing the same side where the attack came from/where you parried does a follow up punch. Pressing the side with your free hand pushes them away
I’m stuck in the Vatican where Gina finds the door behind the painting. She boxed me out, and shut the door behind her. I was stuck in the room, and couldn’t go anywhere. I went back to my last checkpoint, and now she won’t pick the lock to get into the room where the painting is. I went and did other sections, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and she still just stares at the door and doesn’t pick the lock. Thinking I’m gonna have to start over, which isn’t terrible. It’s a fun game.
Have you tried going up to the door to interact with it? I got stuck in the game a few times not knowing you need to push Indy's face against the wall before a prompt comes up.
The AI isn't dumb if you put the game on hard, plus I turned off the icons over thier heads when they spot u. It's way more realistic. I turned up all the volume too.
I played through 90% of the game and never knew I could fast travel, totally missed when they mentioned it, I saw the signs but thought they were for “directions” so never really inspected them 😂. Definitely would have liked to have known that.
This game is close to RD2 in terms of hidden dialog and things you can find in the game. People will be finding stuff for awhile that nobody knew about. I've been playing for a week and am still in Egypt trying to make sure I didn't miss anything. A lot of it is you don't know what you don't know, as many hidden quests you just come across so you really have to comb every area of the map to find them.
Books like the medicine one you find in that crate, there are often a selection of those type books at a vendor in each location as well. They are sold at the post office in the Vatican and there is a woman in the market in Gizeh.
Does anybody by chance know how to get out of the cave after fast traveling back to get a few pictures you forgot to take? I can't go through the door that leads to the cave of darkness and I can't backtrack because it's a dead end.
Definitely loving this game not looking forward to it ending. Some of the lock chest codes were tough to figure out. Overall this game just blows me away as a huge Indy fan, cutscenes, facial expressions, even the beginning of the game was almost shot for shot the Raiders scene. My only complaint is the unrealistic use of the whip. When you recorded this, how do you capture your game content and voice over it? I’m trying to start making my own content but I don’t know how to start
I struggle most with gathering items, for example...when the "?" icon (or any icons) appears in an area, it seems like pinpointing the exact location is a task all by itself. Is that because I haven't purchased a corresponding booklet? Those dotted yellow circles seem vague too. Can you make a post giving detail to this? Thanks.
Make it a priority to get as many books as you can to build up Indy's fighting perks. I had to restart the full game because i had ignored that and at the tail end of the gizeh cycle, there is an enemy that will mop up the floor with you if you did not jack up Indy. The fight is against a giant and in pitch dark until you activate the lights. If you can at least activate one you have a slight chance. Also before that fight starts because it is in several phase, go around and gather any of the metal rods and scepters pick them up and deposit them in front of the room's statue so you know where they are and dont have to run in the dark freaking out that you cannot find anything to hit that crazy giant with. That fight is terrible Nintendo like boss. I am not even back at him yet because i am still in gizeh trying to jack up....
there is also a second chance in a fight perk in the vatican, i think it is early in the story, make sure you pick it up. I missed it the second time and i think you cannot go back between regions.
@@PierreStacheYou can go back to previous locations and pick up everything you have missed. When you open the “journal menu”, go to the Travels tab and you can revisit every location.
"The actual traversal, when you're in like tombs and stuff, is really fun." 5 mins in, you should be able to hear our chap has an Aussie accent not the Queen's English. The ability to understand other accents is far more important than forcing RP on everyone.
Seriously, dude. First of all, you talk about exploring and then don't you know that medicines can be exchanged in the Vatican? Secondly, talking about mistakes that can be made is one thing. But revealing the code to a chest in a game where puzzles are the most important part is already a spoiler and shouldn't be there. The biggest mistake many people make is doing only story missions. And it's worth doing everything. Sometimes these additional tasks open up additional paths in the main storyline. However, some of them appear only after completing some part of the story. So you should check the diary regularly and often.
Theres actually no information of value here for anyone thats played the game even a little bit. This is all pretty obvious stuff and it kinda blows my mind you purposely didn't pick up the medicine bottles in a game that allows you to carry as many as you want.
The biggest mistake was buying ultimate game pass to play this annoying game. Praise the Lord MS refunded me. More like Indiana Jones the Great Running Around In Circles. The dumb ass AI is a freakin' joke in 2024.
The Medicine bottles are also used to buy upgrade books in the Vatican Pharmacy
That's a good tip, i didn't know that 👍

They are good upgrades too! Health Increase and Stamina Increase!

didn't know that .. I collected all of them and barely scratching Gizeh at the moment ..

This was a game changer for me. Couldn’t beat the boxing challenge in Gizeh until I realized to punch opposite the block lol.
You dont have to wait til Gizeh to get bonuses from the medicine. Theres a merchant in the vatican that does the exact same thing.
Was stoked when I figured out the torch through the wall secret 😅... soo great!

Go up and try the door yourself, she should come up behind and then pick the lock.
same thing happened to me. go to options, and there is a save rollback feature. its limited, but it saved my ass in that spot.
When i enter a tomb or something the game automatically switches to indies outfit

Theres a nun at the Vatican whe gives you health and stamina upgrades

I didn't expect that my main concern in a game as it gets harder would be to use the butt of a rifle or to fire it. And a Sudoku puzzle of when.
That costume changing to do things had me baffled trying to pick up that dragons claw in the Vatican 🥲🥲🥲
How did you find that code for the chest for the medicine bottles locations
The ticket.

I turned off highlight object, game is very easy, the map looks good
Can add chapters to this video?
I regret clicking on this video
Do any items respawn in the world ? Like bandages and stuff i mean .
Yes

Make sure you crouch to avoid him hearing where you are at. Hit him and recrouch.
fights easy once you know what to do you could probably do it with no upgrades it would just take more hits

Laura Croft has her grappling hook, Indy has his whip.
Made the same mistakes with the bottles.
A cut scene simulator with a few button prompts to remind you it's a game. Play shadow of the tomb raider instead
