@@geometerfpv2804 She didn't stop when the officer attempted to pull her over, blue lights were on - she admits that she saw him trying to pull her over after first claiming she didn't, that is felony fleeing. You can't just refuse to stop and then go into your house pretending the officer isn't there. Anyone else would have been immediately placed in cuffs and charged for refusing to stop and continuing to drive off. She then very clearly played the "do you know who I am" card. Amazing to me that you'd defend this behavior. Clear example of "rules for the and not for me - the prosecuting attorney." Sure, don't believe your lying eyes. No one is saying they should pull their service pistol, but in this situation, people are arrested for exactly what she did.
@@geometerfpv2804what she did was an arrestable offence yes she got a ticket most people would have been arrested that's the preferential treatment
I don't understand what needs to be investigated? The body camera shows it all. She is guilty and should have been arrested! She was entitled, arrogant, rude, and felt that she was above the law. Why investigate? It's all there. Arrest her, charge her, and fire her.
exactly
Investigate is a euphemism for delay, hinder, and cover up. The longer the "investigation," the more likely it can be forgotten or dismissed.
To buy time till everyone forgets and they can sweep it under the rug.

Absolutely, or worse
A few days later, her apology was a joke. 'I had 3 murders to prosecute', etc. ---- that's your job, sweetheart! She could have/should have been arrested for intimidation and evading alone. Can she prosecute herself on traffic violations???? Her license should be yanked.
Not to mention the cops are usually the ones at the scene of the murder
The attorney has to resign. The arrogance of the attorney is unacceptable. The judicial double standard is alive and well.

The police chief should resign too
Not arresting her for fleeing and eluding is the exact opposite of integrity.

Hell yeah.
If this was Normal Joe Blow, those cops would have had guns drawn and yanked that person from their car at gunpoint

Yep, everyone praising this guy after he continually sucked up and apologized when anyone else would have been thrown to the ground and cuffed. Everyone in this video is a perfect example of what is wrong in America.
Then we all should have the chief's phone number so we won't get arrested when we commit crimes.

Gov. Kathy Hochul referred Doorley to the Commission on Prosecutorial Conduct in the aftermath of the traffic stop incident. The Monroe County Office of Public Integrity opened its own investigation, and in July released a report finding that Doorley's behavior was "rude at best, and more accurately described as abusive", and noted that her unsafe driving of a county-owned vehicle and attempt to "secure unwarranted privileges or exemptions" for herself were both violations of county ethics codes. It referred the case to the Monroe County Board of Ethics for action and cooperation with other investigating agencies
The fact that she says “I don’t really care “ is just crazy. Fire her immediately.
Exactly!! Everybody can make a mistake but to then say "I really don't care [about the law]" is just unacceptable from a DA
She’s an elected official. She can’t be “fired”
Residents of Monroe County: start a petition and submit it to the bar association, State Attorney's Office and the state supreme court! Get this crooked, entitled Karen out of your public office before she does any more damage!
She still thinks she is above the law, almost as if she is royalty!
Man! She KNOWS, she is above the law. She knew she was being recorded and continued to think she would get away with it.
Is she going to plead guilty to fleeing an office or just continue to lie about it
So the Chief said exactly nothing. The officer's actions aren't in question.
She flees, talks on the phone while driving, and insults a cop in her county -- and says she is a better expert on the law.
She said "I'm the one that prosecutes it" thats insane
Repugnant

Hubris of epic proportions!
You missed the part where she called him an asshole and told him to get the fuck out of her house.
She did not hesitate for a second to imply she would rig the evidence
I hope the town doesn't let this get swept under the rug. There are too many implications. I would question why she was brazen enough to call the Chief of Police to get out of this.
Not only that, but WHILE she was eluding the officer she actually says I’m not stopping for him. I’m not a threat. I’m going home. Who does she think she is??
Oh tag. You’re it. If I get home I’m safe?!?!
Yup. The district needs to keep speaking up. She's absolutely expecting this to get swept under the rug. Otherwise, she would have resigned by now.
Chief is the one that gave her the FREE PASS to do what she damn well wants! Listen to the video, all there, "why would he pull me over" rookie cop wasn't told to leave THE DA alone! She is immune and Chief part of it with supervisors! Got caught on tape, wasn't supposed to happen! Really surprised PD didn't say video was stolen by the Russians?
Why after over a month since this sickening event happened are we not hearing that she has been fired, thrown in jail, and disbarred? Everyone needs to email her boss. I did!
The Chief needs to go also. The fact that she can call him and avoid being arrested for something the rest of us would have been face down in the street. He's as bad as her.
I agree 100%.

She is still using something if you look at her eyes in her, cough, apology video.
I'm glad you see through all the bs also! Why wasn't a sobriety test administered? She changed her story on why she didn't pull over a couple of times. Did you notice the few times she implied she thought the webster cops all knew that she drove a black suv, and she gets a pass? She was laughing about it talking to the dude in the garage, 'I thought you all knew my vehicle'
All the tax $$ in her retirement & pension hell no she won’t resign has to me remove by the people 😊
She did seem off. Also, why was she so determined to get her "lunchbag" into the house? Did she have drugs or booze in there?🤨
Wow good observation how did I missed that 😊
Having a DA call the Chief of Police on the spot is a disturbing tell. I love these "do you know who I am?" situations.
Unconscionable that this woman Sandra Doorley is still exercising as the Monroe County DA! What is going on? Is she special? Different treatment for her than for the regular citizen!
This has gone viral nationwide. There’s no way this woman can avoid notoriety, she’s forever connected.
I'm in Vancouver Canada and it's on my feed here. The DA should be let go as she no longer has the confidence of the public. She's an embarrassment to her office, and the New York State Bar Assn should be prepared to receive a complaint about her ethical conduct.
I'm half way around the world and this is all over my feed, too.
I'm in Australia and it's on my feed too. She should resign.
She's a Horrible person. All credibility lost.
Why wasn't she arrested? If it was a regular citizen, they would have been arrested immediately. This is how the law makes everyone not trust it.
Right she just felt she was so entitled and it was allowed. Had it been a regular citizen this would have gone a totally different way. Kudos to the officer for being so professional.
She drove home from a traffic stop, told the cop to leave and let her dog out like it was a regular day 😂
She is entitled, and was not arrested due to her position as DA. It wouldn't be a surprise if she still keeps her job.
She's above the law like most thin blue line public servants.
Exactly and they wonder why ppl don’t respect them. That cop is a pussy too
How on EARTH can she ever prosecute a "Fleeing a Traffic Stop" charge in court again?? Get your résumé ready, lady!
How can she convict someone guilty of speeding up to 20 mph over when she didn’t care she was speeding?
15:27 the fact that he apologized to her after letting her go with a ticket is absolutely disgusting to watch

Yep. The cop's supervisor that showed up was sackless.
There just waiting for it all to blow over and be forgotten ! Any normal person would already have been in front of a judge for fleeing and eluding by now complete with bruises and cuts from excessive force and a written off car from a pit !
Also, the chief doesn’t denounce her behavior in the statement
The chiefs statement is garbage. HIS officers should've followed the LAW but didn't. By follow the law I mean they should have treated her just like everyone else and beat her, robbed her, cuffed her, charged her and jailed her. Or they can start treating all of us just like they did her. 🎉🎉🎉
A DA (particularly a DA like this) can endanger the life of all officers, so the chief was rightly cautious.
They can come on camera and apologize all they want, but the body cam shows who they really are.
Funny how Doorley "knows" the law but she was wrong about everything including going 55 in a 35 and fleeing police.
No she new she was breaking the law she is just use to flashing her district attorney or prosecutors ID to get out of it
