So yes, the officer most certainly can be trusted as he did what he was told to do. No one has to defend the officer but we should all notice that he didn't back down. Instead of walking away the officer stayed, continued with the traffic stop, advised her of the law and how she broke the law. He absolutely should have called his supervisor, which he did. The Police Chief told his officer to write the ticket. Her other crimes like failing to stop and refusing LE has been given over to one of the state's Attorneys to decide if there is enough evidence to charge her.
My opinion is since this has gone so public and viral the State DA will agree that she should be charged which is a felony and she will lose her job. The only question is will she resign or will she be fired.

@@geometerfpv2804 She didn't stop when the officer attempted to pull her over, blue lights were on - she admits that she saw him trying to pull her over after first claiming she didn't, that is felony fleeing. You can't just refuse to stop and then go into your house pretending the officer isn't there. Anyone else would have been immediately placed in cuffs and charged for refusing to stop and continuing to drive off. She then very clearly played the "do you know who I am" card. Amazing to me that you'd defend this behavior. Clear example of "rules for the and not for me - the prosecuting attorney." Sure, don't believe your lying eyes. She also lied during the entire interaction bc she kept telling all the officers that she didn't know his lights were on for her and that he was attempting to pull her over bc there were so many other cars on the road. Yet, she tells the chief on the phone to tell the officer behind her that she's not a threat and is driving home. Both can't be true...so she's a liar as well. Both need to resign.
