In this clip, De’Aundre Bonds reacted to Vlad interviewing Michael Thompson, a former leader of the Aryan Brotherhood, who turned on the group for a violent incident that targeted a former member’s family. De’Aundre explained that he was around all of the gangs in prison, including a Black Gorilla cellmate, and he laughed when Vlad asked if you could interact with Mexican gangs or Aryan Brotherhood members. De’Aundre added that you could have respect on the low, but never out in the open. From there, Vlad asked De’Aundre what would happen as a non-affiliate as himself sat down with a member of the Aryan Brotherhood. I did 5 yrs in Cali prison.. the politics are racial, but majority of the inmates on either side don’t really hate each other. There’s definitely some dudes that have that racism in them but I met some black dudes that I was closer to than my own race .. u abide by the prison politics but at the same time learn how dumb it is to hate someone else cuz if their color..
Damn near everyone knows prison politics are fucked, but it’ll never change. We don’t like change, &it’ll take to much trust for it to change. I’ve been out about 2 years now, &I know everything’s still the same. If I went back on a PV, it’d be the same. I’d have our table, our poker night, same team. If the politics changed, I’d be lost. But, I’m not going back, I’ve came way to far&have so much I’d loose if did.

Prison is the most surrogated the most racist, the most double standard living environment I've ever seen and have been a part of. You see true racism in prison.
