In this clip, DJ Vlad shares a story with TK Kirkland about getting robbed for the very first time in his life by police in Mexico. Vlad's takeaway from the incident was that he somewhat brought it upon himself by getting drunk and walking around Cancún by himself in a foreign country. TK responded by pointing out how important it is for people to know their surroundings, especially given that so many rappers nowadays are getting assaulted in public.
Later in the discussion, TK Kirkland talked about some of his upcoming standup dates and announced that his new special will be dropping soon at a discounted viewing price for VladTV viewers. TK and Vlad also discussed some of the perks of their careers, particularly as it pertains to travel and the inspiration they wish to give viewers as opposed to s******* on them with their lavish experiences.

The same thing happened to me in Cancun Mexico. Got stopped by the Police while driving. They were two deep, a male and a female officer. When they saw that I had a Massachusetts drivers licence. They threatened to tow my rental and throw me to jail unless i gave them $300 US. Luckily I had a mexican guy that I met in Cancun because he spoke English and he was showing me around. He talked to the police and negotiated for me then they agreed to take $200 US to let me go. I feel like if wasn’t with the mexican guy they would have searched me and my car and take all the money and everything valuable that I had in the car
All Vlad had to do was flash his badge and inform them of his international security clearance 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

The police in Tijuana Mexico did the exact same thing to me and 5 of my navy shipmates they stopped us all on this bridge made us assume the position and took our wallets took all the money out and returned our wallets and said "get the f### out of here" we complied 🤷🏾♂️. They were only 2 deep but we were on their soil and along way from the ship and they had guns.

They got me for 60 bucks and cologne that I had in my truck I got lucky good thing they didn’t strip me down cus I had 500 cash in my socks. Getting robbed in Mexico is normal if you caught slipping in the main city area.
If you in the kinfolk location its not as bad, but if you in party centro parts of Mexico, tuck your money in your socks, that's the least likely to get robbed than having it in your wallet, pocket, cargo.
