Are the top riders still locals or are pros from other countries coming to poach the KOM? I did it 10 years ago and the competition was nothing like it is today. I would get destroyed. 😂
@@CyclingChiangMai I still wonder if he did it on purpose. That Thai guy is already really very strong ... what the f... doing what he did. He won a really nice Trek frame though lol... probably was worth it for him if he is not a ''rich'' Thai.
@@r.briquet1117 I don't know the guy but I would like to think he didn't do that on purpose. He must have chased alone for a long time, I remember him joining us on the first group around km 18. Regardless his intentions, the rule is stupid, this is a road race not a time trial, first across the line should be the winner imo :)
Congrats! 👍
Thank you Mike!
Great job, Luis!
thanks!!🙏
Great effort, Luis, on the hardest climb in the world.
Thanks Rob!! 🙏🙏

I would say more than half of the riders ahead of me where locals, and I ended 20th 👍🏽
unfortunately Martin didnt actually win due to the nature of the chip-timed racing
Lol yeah, the guy that got dropped by Marto almost a minute on the road and came fourth over the line and then "won" the race, only in Thailand :)
