Born and bread in West Croydon left there 35 years ago. Its certainly changed a lot other than the weather that's not changed at all. and its a little bit different to where I live now in Australia.
Croydon Road , Beckenham High Street and Rectory Road are not the worst, even though there are posher bits of Beckenham. Croydon (my manor) is sometimes else.

I live along London Road and quite like it. All the late night shops of every nationality, 24h buses, dodgy characters. Its not to everyone's tastes, but at least its alive 😀

@@thecockerel86 Croydon and Bromley (the latter being alot more affluent) is a real mixture. There are some very nice leafy suburbs
