The vibrato pedal makes it sound like Spongebob music
Burt Gaming I was thinking that same thing
That's what we're going for.
@@Yumemaru. Use a slider
also Mac DeMarco haha
@@CloudIsla yeah lol
I'm getting a heavy Mac Demarco vibe from all this, I love it
bruuuhhh
I was searching for that but without the bit crusher
@@marcopiermatteo9606 yeah me too, I was trying to get a Macdemarco preset for gitar rig
he uses vibrato
That’s the sound of my dreams with the bit crusher 😍
Omg ive been looking for something like this forever
Thanks for posting! Very helpful!
came for the effect, stayed for the chords, nice sound bruh
really nice sound bro
Thanks for the heads up on the free Izotpe vinyl plug in, love it!
Awesome tips. I love it!
Yo, is it possible to show how your brother built that vibrato pedal? If not, is it possible to sell the pedal? Cause my god it’s an amazing pedal that I’d love to use.
I second this
@Evan Sievers The cheap behringer vibrato is kinda too fast for lofi I would say
As an update, I’ve gotten a TC electronic Shaker. It works amazingly and I really recommended it to anyone who wants to get that vibrato sound. The Shaker mini is also great too. (P.S Doug, if your brother is gonna release that vibrato pedal I’ll buy it just saying)
You stared straight into my soul
I'm just caught by that progression..
0.o
Please make a full version of that beautiful song
Ik its 2020 but i got goosebumps from the guitar chords and stuff...mad
Do you have schematic diagrams for the vibrato and bit crusher?? They sound great
Omg that vibrato pedal. Where can I get that I need one immediately
Here’s a tip if you own a boss CH-1: if you connect a spare patch cable to output B while you’re connected to your amp through output A, you now have a vibrato pedal.
Does it work for CE-5? It has 2 outputs so I think it would, and also what do you mean by a square patch cable? I assume you mean a cable not plugged in but thanks in advance!
@@willfowler8540 Haha, “spare” patch cable. I meant a dummy cable so yeah, it’s not connected to anything on the other end. I don’t own a ce-5, but you can certainly try it if you got one 👍
@@AbuseForViews ok. I'll try when I get home later today and tell you how it goes
@@AbuseForViews oh my god I read it as square. Sorry, long day
@@willfowler8540 No worries. Hope it works for ya
Superb
Wow good video!!
Thannnkkkk youuu so mucchhhh
That vibrato was gorgeous. Ref the Ableton plug in, I wonder if there's a similar plugin in studioOne?
GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
The Julia pedal by Walrus Audio is probably the best for the lo-fi sound imo
LXXXVIII That’s a good choice!
But that doesn't have warble vibe. It's more for different purposes.
Nice tones you achieved bro, love your channel
Could you describe what the knobs on your vibrato pedal means? It doesn't sound anything like an amplitude or harmonic vibrato
I just rewatched this vid by chance and now I realized it's just a Uni-Vibe Clone
this music takes me to 90s era
Hi there! Great video, I am wondering what vibrato pedal that is you are using is called? The amazon link takes me to a different vibrato pedal :(
For the guys that are asking is not a rule having the vibrato pedal just buy a pedal called modulation pedal that haves not just the vibrato but other tipes of distortion.
Amazing stuff man! What do you think of the Xvive V8 Chorus Vibrato pedal?
Thanks! I haven’t tried that pedal, but it looks like it would work for this type of sound. Let me know how it is if you decide to get one!
The Bit Crusher is also in aliexpress
It sounds like you're playing in the same mode in a lot of these videos you make. Kinda dreamy, kinda nostalgic. What mode is that?
Tanuki Core if you're asking what genre is it, its called dreampop/bedroom pop or whatever.
Ride My Lightning he’s.. he’s asking what guitar mode.... like... a scale? Why are you here?
@@nehemiahzo_ had my mother lenguage mixed up with this :p sryy
Ride My Lightning ahh. Understandable :)
Hey do you have this song uploaded somewhere? I love this man.
DreamySteezy It isn’t on Spotify or anything but the song I play at the end is from my “Lo-Fi Guitar Beat #4” video.
ua-cam.com/video/EhH8asnBfvo/v-deo.html
Those chords are great. Can I get a tab of this?
:(
I agree with that
Frrrr
Great vid
What did u use for drums?
what guitar do you use?
Doesn’t the pedal sound like a UniVibe? Could I get the same effects from a UniVibe? Thanks for making this video 🙏❤️
Hi, great video!
I really like this soud and i was wondering if using a Mooer Lofi Machine and a tc electronic Shaker Mini Vibrato would do a good lofi sound...
Can you help me please ?
Therega 34 I just checked out those pedals and yes, they should work for this sound. I would keep the speed on the vibrato pretty slow and then keep the lofi machine depth pretty subtle.
Good video! I would like to mention this TC electronic Corona Chorus. Gets some pretty dope lo-fi tones. I play a lot of bedroom pop and this works for me. Cheers mate!
I would recommend against the corona chorus. can't go deep nor slow enough. Also can't go fully wet so you can't ever get a true vibrato effect.
How do I get your normal guitar tone (before the shown pedals and everything)?
I bought like 9 things for electric guitar. Idk if air transport is safe for all the things. I bought from thomman so wondering if u could help me if thomman's air transport safer than others.
What amp are you using? Also that pedal sounds absolutely amazing
seán callaghan For this I’m going direct into my audio interface!
I was thinking, what's your musical influences? I never heard nothing like that
this is the San Holo starter pack lol
How can i make this in a line6 stomp?
how do u get the sound before u used the vibrato or the bitcrusher
what guitar sample did u play
Hey do you think it'd be possible to use a vibrato pedal and a chorus pedal later in the order? Or do you think the chorus pedal would kill the feel of the vibrato?
DreamySteezy Personally I like the sound of Vibrato a lot better than Chorus and I think it gives a better “warble” effect. But go ahead and try the Chorus after the Vibrato and see what you think! Maybe having some subtle Chorus would add a nice depth to the sound.
is there any free alternatives to ableton live?
what brand is that vibrato pedal?
is there a way to get the chords?
What amp or vst are u playing into? I need help with the tone before pre fx
For this I went straight into my audio interface, which is a Presonus Firestudio Project.
Anyway your brother can like sell these pedals?
Aidan Taylor I’d definitely buy
Aidan Taylor I'd buy one.
I’d buy one too
I don't know if I'd 100% buy one, but it would definitely be in my consideration set (among other high end pedals): Walrus Julia, JHS Emperor, Iron Ether Polytope, Strymon Ola, etc.
I would 100% buy one
What is that exact pedal called
Any pedals for bass guitar which is good for lofi or can i use the same
You can use the same!
what guitar does he use?
Why not just use the trem bar?
is it possible to find a vibrato just in vst but exactly same effect
Metro Lego MVibrato is great and straightforward and it’s free
What guitar do you use in this video? I can get the right vibe from the pedals but my guitars just don’t have that indie rock or lofi sound.
It's the player and mess around with your pickups and tone volumes
Enrique Gaxiola ok thanks
basically, your tone knob all the way up and use a bridge pickup
yo what guitar are you using ?
HEAL Fender Ash Telecaster
저 패달 사고싶어요 만들어주세요 please
Sounds like ichika nito
What song are you playing in the vid
bazamichael It’s one of my lo-fi guitar beats. ua-cam.com/video/0FHHC9om6cE/v-deo.html
Doug Hanson dude I knew I knew this haha I was legit listening to it while doing homework earlier love ur stuff 👏 👍
some affordable pedals that can do that?
Zoom Multi effect pedal
quentinateacid Not sure if you ever found one, but the Mr. Black Mini Chorus is $99 and the EHX East River Drive can go for about $75 or so.
78diegox does ge100 can do this also??
what is the name of the song that u playing in this video ? is it yours ?
Andrian Agung Yes, it’s one of my lo-fi guitar beats. ua-cam.com/video/EhH8asnBfvo/v-deo.html
Your string gauge looks pretty big
Brooo what vibrato is that?
Elias. S. I think he made it himself. I think he based it off a julia, just a guess from the artwork.
What amp do you use
AeroDynamics I recorded this direct into my interface, so no amp. But I usually use a Vox AC4C1-TV
@@DougHanson ah vox, a man of culture.
What guitar are you using?
CLASSIFIEDGTA Fender Telecaster
@@DougHanson hey your the only person who's answered me so thanks a lot, but I'm wondering what guitar I should buy to get a lofi indie sound. Like Mac demarco, boy Pablo or king krule. Maybe listen to these songs for reference so you can help me out?
Boy pablo- ur phone, Zack villere- bloo. Thanks a lot, any suggestions would be really appreciated.
@@Yumemaru. Dude, that's not how it works. You can't buy a guitar for Lo Fi. You have to get pedals, right amplifier and more. Guitars are what least matter. Get a Telecaster or Stratocaster, they're very versatile and will work for almost any type of music
@@Max-dr6rz I bought a Jazz master and a vibrato pedal. Also, the guitar does play a part in the overall sound of the chords, there's a reason there are different types of guitars.
what vibrato pedal is that
Alpha Moose It’s a pedal that my brother made, but any vibrato should work! Thanks for watching!
@@DougHanson your brother made it ? Dude put us on it sounds dope I would buy one depending on the price
please made them and sell to social
Is it effective if I just use a whammy bar?
MynxLynx
If you are a master with that absolutely.
The thing in lofi vibrato is that vibrates all the time, creates a feel of artificial sound.
@@joselekiwi5695 true. thanks
This is an electric guitar right?
Lmao yes how else would he use pedals
Step 1. Use RC-20 lol
Lo-Fi. . You want Lo-Fi? Try plugging in a Kay arch top equipped with a D’armond adjustable PU and play that though a ‘59 Kay amplifier with a 10” speaker and you’ll get more Lo-Fi than you asked for. . . and cheap too!. Having come up in the fifties listening to 45’s I’m totally confounded why anyone would pay multiple hundreds of $$ get their thousand of $$ worth of guitar and amplifier to sound like a POS 50’s era 45. wtf?.. wow 😂. .
$200 just to make my guitar sound like lofi 🥺 man :(
nobody on the planet knows what lo-fi means anymore
