- There are a few sneaky rules in Disney World that you might completely miss and end up breaking. If it’s truly by accident, you won’t get kicked out of the parks but we’re here to let you know the rules you need to stay aware of to keep yourself out of any tricky or awkward situations.

It would be great if you could do a vlog educating guests on Service Dogs. As in …just ignore them. In Sept and Oct. 2020 my daughter and I were at the parks with her large service dog who was attacked by a man trying to beat the dog with his fist and screaming at him, pet from behind without permission multiple occasions, photos taken of him without permission and questions asked of us so many times that it was intrusive. People with Service Dogs are there just like everyone else to enjoy the parks without constant interruptions. One day it took over 30 min to walk down Main St USA because of being stopped by other guests asking can I pet your dog? what breed is he? Kids have swung lightsabers and swords at him. Adults have driven their strollers with kids right up into him so they could pet him. All of this behavior is not only disruptive and intrusive to the disabled handler’s Disney experience but it is also illegal to interfere with a Service Dog as well as dangerous for the handler who’s dog may miss a potential health risk that the dog cannot alert to. PLEASE help educate Disney guests to the proper behavior when they see a working Service Dog in the parks. It’s as simple as IGNORE THEM as one would a wheelchair, walker or a cane… all are medical equipment. Service Dogs ARE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. Thank you.
Unfortunately the ones that need to see a video like this won't see it. People just have no common sense anymore, for that I'm sorry this has happened to you and your daughter.

@@michellem5647 Absolutely! How many pet dogs does one see at Disney? It’s not like Disney is a pet friendly venue. Only service dogs are allowed. So why would anyone think they can interact with a dog at Disney since ONLY service dogs are allowed? If there’s a dog at Disney it’s a Service Dog. Yes my statement is circular. There’s no other way to explain it. One does not pet, interrupt, hit or distract in anyway, a Service Dog. The public knows this. So then why does it happen? I even wore a shirt printed stating…
Service Dog. If this dog can control its impulses so can you.

Yes, PLEASE keep your flash off, people! Haunted Mansion seems to attract the worst offenders.
So does Pirates. They film the entire ride with the flash on… and then they act like they don’t know English when you make a comment to them.
So many people seem to think the flash will make the picture better, but it actually makes it look worse in most cases. People just need to learn how to properly take photos instead of going for quick snapshots with a phone set on auto.
@@Nelwyn It depends entirely on the camera or phone. Some can adjust shutter speed to let extra light in so the picture isn't underexposed but not all are the same. A long time ago, I once took a picture of something while riding COP and totally forgot my flash was set to "ON". It went off. I was shocked and embarrassed to death. When the ride ended, I could hardly keep my head up, thinking the Mickey SS would swoop down on me and haul me off to jail (yes, there really IS a jail in the theme parks. On the other hand, is it all bad to have a citation saying "busted by the Reedy Creek Municipal Police"?). Nobody said a thing and the CMs didn't even look! It wouldn't have been hard to spot me as I probably had the reddest face of everyone who got off the ride!
Another rule is adults can’t dress up as characters in the park it confuses kids

Someone needs to tell that to the Japanese, every time I go down there are always Japanese women dressed up in princess gowns

Just left the park after a week long trip yesterday, you guys are gonna love it. Just like Disneyland but on a WAY bigger scale with a little bit of stuff for everyone. You don’t even have to ride the rides to have fun (although I don’t recommend that).

Two very important rules not mentioned in this video.... 1) DO NOT climb out of the Living with the Land boat to grab a vegetable! 2) Hold on to those balloons when Merida's horse is walking by. (I know that second one wasn't intentional, but that was still a very scary situation)

About 15 years ago, CM yelled at me for biting Mickey’s ear off. I got really scared. I didn’t know what to do. All I could think to do is stare at him as I bit the other one. The look of pure shock on his face was priceless. My parents laughed so hard. That was the best Mickey premium bar I ever had.

oooo line jumping really irks me! one time i blocked the entire aisle at slinky dog because kids just kept coming from outside of the line to go stand with their parents. like 10+ children it was about 4 families; not just 1 or 2 kids! everyone behind me was cracking up and cheering because no one wanted to wait an extra 45 minutes so their family reunion could get in front of everyone!
One time in 2019, I cut the line at Flight of Passage. I had never been to Pandora before, but typically when a group of people decide to block access to a line to ask a CM a question that could easily be done off to the side, it’s always the fastpass line. Gotta make those people wait ya know. So I made my family walk around them, which is how I missed the signs. We walked the ENTIRE fastpass line which is insanely long only to realize that it was fastpass.
As soon as a cast member asked us to tap the styles, that’s when I realized. I apologized greatly, and then had to walk that super long way all the way back, which basically felt like a walk of shame. I had hoped no one in the regular line had seen me. Plus, I thought I was an expert, yet displayed a massive epic failure in front of my family. Not to mention that because the walk was so long, we basically added 15 minutes to our standby wait time.
Left out a urgnet safety rule: keep your hands and arms inside even during coaster rides. You may get injured from low ceilings adn they're fast with sudden drops. So never even have them up a little.
The holding the table one really bugs me when you’ve got hot food and there’s nowhere to sit
Yup, it really smacks of the "I'm going to worry about me first" mentality some people have. Now granted it's not always obvious, and certainly is understandable especially if you have a larger group but as mentioned in the video, tables are for people who are eating, not for socializing, not for waiting/relaxing, so do the collective community a solid and let people with food sit because that makes it smoother for everyone else.

@@Mike__B Disney World in general brings out the “i only care about me” mentality. People think they’re the only ones paying big bucks to be there and so they just forego manners to have a magical experience.
I remember in 2018, going to Pinocchio Haus and I was looking for an extra chair since we were a party of six. a woman had her BAG on a seat and I said, excuse me, may I have this chair and she had the nerve to say, NO, it's for my bag and I just looked at her and she said, FINE! SMH
There's not enough places to sit to eat to begin with. When I had season tickets I stopped eating at those places all together. Table service only for me.

With the line jumping thing, there’s an even easier solution: ask the people already in line, “ excuse me, is this the end of the line?” They are usually really polite and helpful
Headed to Disney World on Sunday ( July 4th- 7 days of fun) all parks access including water.
I’m more excited than my daughter, she’s in for a rude awaking as she sees mom transform into a kid again.

I can't remember what airport it was but they had a very small 'smoking room'. It was vented to the outside but they cleaned it only once a day, it was just filthy - they did it on purpose so people wouldn't linger in there. If you're jonesing for a smoke, you'll go in there but you won't stick around. Just get your fix and go. I think it was brilliant.
DC airport has this and the ones in Haneda airport in Tokyo are the nicest I've seen 😅

Vegas has these "smoking lounges". of course they put slot machines in there so not only is not pleasant to be in, but you'd also be standing inches away from everyone else
@@themarcusismael13 I've been in there many times and they're almost always empty, maybe one or two other people. I don't fly busy times of year tho to be fair
To my surprise, Universal Orlando had a slightly enclosed section near "Springfield" where people were allowed to smoke. It was kept spotless and they made sure no cigarette butts left the trash cans. I have no idea if the smoking section is still there as this was before the scamdemic.
In terms of lines, people shouldn't be able to "hold spaces" for people to join them in line either. We were in line for a ride in the dinosaur section of Animal Kingdom. There was a pair of teenagers ahead of us, fine. Then we noticed a few more join them and eventually over 20 people had line jumped ahead of us. I made a stink about it and they let us go ahead of them. Sending one family member to stand in a long line while the others go on something with a shorter line, then come join is equally annoying. If you don't want to stand in lines, perhaps go on another type of vacation.
Meh they are kids. Annoying but at least they let you in
While standing in line for Big Thunder my family had two kids who asked us if they could pass by us to catch up to their family. We said yes and they went ahead. Their family turned out to be behind us and filed through in front of us to catch up 🤦♀️

Adding on to the holding a table rule: don’t sit at the table chatting when you’re entire party is done eating. Eat and go. Especially at Cosmic Rays!!!! It’s huge yes but it’s most populated counter service restaurant in MK. Tables are not easy to come by and so many people think they’re just allowed to chill while ppl are clearly looking for tables. Please move along when you’re done eating.

haha, looking down a hallway for a Hidden Mickey I heard the "Excuse me sir? Can you come over here for a minute?" and had to explain to a CM what I was doing looking like I was gonna bail down a CM hallways at the edge of Toon Town. The Hidden Mickey Guide doesn't mention that part!
The smoking on your balcony thing is another one that can get you banned for life. Have seen it up close and personal next to us at one of the Epcot hotels...
I just got back from Disney and there were so many people who broke the flash photography rule. It drove me up the wall. Extremely rude and annoying
9:54 The government doesn't want you to know that the ducks at your local park are free and you can take them home. Lol.
I laughed too hard at this.
I heard a story about a family watching a guy pick up full grown ducks at the local park and carrying them off. They called the police, but it turned out the guy had raised the ducks and released them in the pond as their new home as part of a city beautification project so the ducks were perfectly happy being picked up by him and fed a safe diet he kept giving them to make sure they were well fed and healthy.

Disney actually trades back fake pins to guests… I’ve gotten a few from cast members
I got a pin I think is fake, it’s the Tinkerbell Cupcake hidden Mickey Mouse pin and I got to it by trading an authentic pin! I was so upset when I found out because the pin is really cute! :(
I feel like the #1 rule is to just remember you’re not the only guest at the parks. Yes, we all spend a pretty penny to get there and feel deserved of a certain level of service. Just remember no one is perfect and to roll with the punches that may happen. Legitimate concerns will be addressed and everyone can enjoy their stays when we stay positive when something goes wrong. Enjoy your stays everyone!!!

I can see how holding a table might be something someone would do without ill will, yeah...
I've only been in a Disney park once (the Paris one), and a lot of people were doing that. We ended up getting snacks at a booth and actually eating our lunch out of peak hours, when it was quieter and half or the tables were actually free, in the restaurant we choose.
holding tables INFURIATES me! i completely get when it’s a family holding the table with kids whilst another member of the family orders but when it’s people without kids holding tables? No. Ive had so many encounters where I’ve had to loop around QSR multiple times and then had to result on sitting on the ground outside because people were holding tables 😬

I got in a line at the wrong place one time and a lady told me she would break my knees. Never made that mistake again. Now I ask where the end if the line is. The line I got in went around a corner and I did not realize

We tried to check out other resorts a couple years before Covid(Dec.2017)and were turned away. My wife and I wanted to check out Boardwalk to see what it was like since it was close to EPCOT, and we were questioned at the Grand Floridian even though we had reservations at Narcoossee's and were encouraged to head directly to the restaurant. It was sad, we really wanted to check out some other options for our next trip.
I just got back and I have one minor correction: you can resort hop to Saratoga Springs if your end location is Disney Springs. Cast members directed us to do that to get from a park to the Springs quickly.
I stop trading pins with cast members. Last time, I chose a pin that the back was obviously a fake pin and the cast member did not want me to returned my real pin. It kind of ruin the whole experience.
AJ: In the last three years I have gone to Magic Kingdom probably as many times as you and your group and I have NEVER seen a CM say anything to a guest holding a table (for the family member picking up the food . . as you said, for 15-20 mins. using a table spot that others can be eating at)..Just never happens. So frustrating; but there IS a solution; have a CM standing at the table area with a sign saying :Tables only for guests with food in hand" or such. At Universal at The Leaky Cauldron that is exactly what they do . . and it is bench (picnic table) seating. A Universal attendant takes you to your table upon ordering . . .and it IS fast food, so can be done.
Skipping the line by accident is more or less inevitable in Tokyo Disney too. Only the small rides like Dumbo or the Merry Go Round have people holding "Line starts here" signs.
You are allowed to resort hop if you are staying at a dvc hotel and are a dvc member. They will check your band though.
I've eaten at Sunshine Seasons (Epcot - Land pavilion) exactly once. I got my food, and everywhere I tried to sit someone claimed they were saving the table. Eventually I just sat down somewhere and ignored the person claiming to save it. But it was such a bad experience I've never gone back.

At Caribbean Beach a few weeks ago, people were smoking everywhere and anywhere.
Queue jumping is a real problem at DLP- intentional not accidental- but I’ve never experienced it at WDW
When in Spaceship Earth, one of the girls in front of us kept taking photos with the flash on because it’s so dark in there and it’s was annoying and ruined a lot of the scenes

Someone did this on Haunted Mansion which is pointless and annoying. And I honestly had to yell "Yo Dude! Chill!" 😂.
We walked off the Liberty Bell and they were using the exit for the haunted mansion queue. We stayed in the line and the guy behind us was quick to point out where the back of the line was.
One rule I'm glad about is the No Smoking Rule in Disney Springs. Yay! Ditto for smoking areas away from waiting lines.
Yes hunting we did in February what a pita. But we only waited one hr. But we never ever set our timers to see if time was correct!

I resort hop all the time. No one has ever challenged me. Not even cast members I see at the resorts every week have ever mentioned not being able to be there without a reservation. I'm sure security people have noticed me, too, but not a one has ever confronted me.
This was literally posted the day I went to Disney Springs and I'm watching it just now, my friend and I we're about to enter the Lego store through the exit and had no idea we had to go around the store to enter until a Cast Member told us at the door. We waited that long just for me to be the only one who got something
Sad part is, no matter how many times you tell people to turn off flash there are always idiots that still leave it on. It doesn't work past a few feet!!! Just turn it off!!!
Cuz people don't pay attention or listen to spiels. In one ear, out the other. Some people drop their brain at the main gate. And some people are jerks and just don't care.

I normally don't go to WDW but when I do, I try to break every rule they have and some rules they have not even thought of.

I don't think they even check.
It has been several years, but in my experience, smokers do not care that they aren't supposed to smoke there.
I feel that it wouldn't be my duty, as a very frequent guest to the parks, to provide some updated information.
While I can't necessarily speak for other hotels (although, I don't exactly see why this would be a big problem), at Coronado Springs, I have mentioned that I was dining at the Three Bridges bar, and they just let me in (whether or not I was, at the current time, lol).
In terms of backstage photos.... Yes. Disney DOES take that VERY seriously. DO NOT DO IT!
What I will say is that on the Backstage Magic tour, there ARE, IN FACT, pre-designated places, backstage, where you CAN take photos.
On the tour, they do allow for this, and it IS encouraged to do so!
The caveat here is that, of course, these areas don't really give away any Disney secrets. We are talking about with an Audio Animatronic that was once used on an attraction, or
somewhere like the thread storage wall in costuming. Stuff like that.

I ALWAYS send another person to save a table, at counter services locations, while I am getting our food. I have never been approached by a cast member over it. Luck? Is it because we are only two guests and not a big family?

Does anyone know if you can park at a resort if you want to take your child fishing (renting poles etc via Disney)? We have two kids that want to fish and one that doesn't but I wasn't sure how we would handle parking we are staying off property. We aren't going until February 2022- any tips appreciated!
I'm pretty sure that you can't rent poles etc, but there are guided tours you can book through Disney if you are interested in that sort of thing.
I was there last week and I didn't see much social distancing going on. That wasn't a problem for me I'm just saying I didn't see a lot of it going on.
I believe that they have been back to normal with the whole social distancing for a little bit now so that is why you didn't see it.

MOST of the pins listed on ebay and amazons are fakes, so I wouldn't encourage people to try to find authentic pins there. The only way to guarantee you are getting authentic pins is if you buy them directly from Disney.
Yup. I got a pack of pins from amazon before my 2019 trip and was checking for fakes, I pulled out an obvious one, the other ones looked like they might be legit but it was honestly hard to tell if they were or not, we kept several of them for our pin book (I honestly don't care if the are fake or not, we trade for the characters and to keep it as a memory of our trip, but I can understand people getting mad getting fakes with how much the pins cost), but can confirm, packs from amazon may contain fakes.

In 2018, we got stuck towards the end of spaceship earth where you start to go backwards and can see the stars. It was really pretty to look at and get to stare at the “stars”, but then someone at the next car over kept taking flash photos and it ruined the magic :(
To be fair to the guy who got banned for life, he WAS going on adventures FOR US. And he didn't ask our collective mother's on purpose!
And they eventually lifted his ban, which was nice of them.

On our trip this spring, we found ourselves asking other guests, “What line is this? What are you waiting to ride or enter?” 😆 It was really confusing!

THIS. i was so excited to trade pins when i was 8/10? just recently just found out my first traded pin was actually a fake and majority of what i had on my boards i had to get rid of. so how much money did i put into buying starter packs and getting fakes instead!? UGH! wish there was a better way to regulate it.
You mean the online boards? I know a handful of artists that make high quality ones at least. Are people sharing pics of bad fakes?

We literally can't get inside Pecos bills until the food order was ready and even then we got scolded by a cast member about sitting at a table until we have our food. We're inside the building we obviously have food ready was my entire family of 8 suppose to stand behind me like a row of ducks ?
Yep! Because another large family could have been waiting in line together like they were supposed to before yours got in and needed a big table too. I was a former cast member and have had to tell people they need to get up until they have their food. I agree its a sucky rule, but its a rule for a reason. If we don't make you move and a superior CM has to do it instead or the family following the rule complains it doesn't always end well.

I'll never understand why anyone feels the need to take pictures on rides or recording fireworks... Are you really going to watch it later? No, probably not. If you want to just watch the millions of videos or pictures that are already online and enjoy the experience in person instead. Just know you're probably bothering someone when you're doing it.
Where can I get the best food out of the parks?? I’m heading to Orlando this Friday but not the parks :( but would LOVE some Dole Whip or Chicken nuggets!!!

The problem is, nealy all the pins on a pin board or on a Cast Member pin lanyard are fake. And when you bring it to their attention,, they say,, "Yeah I know. Its unfortunste but it happens." I've literally had multiple CMs tell me this. Then leave the pins where they are.
none of those tells are 100% accurate. I have legit pins bought at the parks with missing spikes. Magnetic, or off centered Waffling.
There are more fake trading pins in the park than this video leads people to believe. Also, the fakes/scrappers are harder to spot then this video leads on, especially for traders who do not trade as often. Learning the ins and outs of trading pins, I received a ton of fake pins from trading with cast members at WDW and was frustrated since I traded authentic pics for one of the thousands of fake pins in the parks.

Is Disney already at 100% capacity??
Not sure, but I believe they’re increasing capacity through July. I’ve been checking back on ticket reservations, and dates that were once crossed out now have availability again. I’m excited to return in mid-July!
