    I used to catch garter snakes when I was a kid too, but I don't recall getting bit. I got my picture taken in my honeymoon with a yellow python, but I don't know which kind. I've got to find that picture! It was 15 years ago.

    Thank you for posting the tips, especially as I am about to get my very first baby BP! I’m so excited!!! He’s a normal het for blue-eyes Lucy and pied... I am not planning to breed for a few years, but I hope to someday! I’ve learned a lot on your channel, and also from Brian Barcyk.

    Do you think with all the interbreeding may have change the sweet ball python to create morphs?I am seeing more and more videos of moody morphs (I hardly if ever see it with the normal ball python!) ?? It is not just color that is being changed, life finds a way! The Spider is just the beginning! That's a whole other topic! Lol! You rock! Thanks for great video and info! Helena

      Back in the 80's, when all you could get were Wild caught or Farmed Ball pythons, They were very aggressive. After people figured out how to properly House & Care for them, we found out they were so mello.

    This is a strange question but would you ever cross breed a ball python with another kind of python ( not necessarily a blood python ) that's a bit more friendlier

  • @yankeeredneck7229

    Hey is it normal to have your ball python go to the cool end of the tank after feeding and also that is Christie thought the good work I told someone about your videos today

    • @ChrisHardwickanimaladventures
      @ChrisHardwickanimaladventures  5 років тому

      Most snakes will move to the hot spot after eating so they can digest.

    I really think it would be cool if you did one of predator B p's highlights or even just hadn't out the sowed where you done a discussion with another breeder because both of you will have slightly different views on things will just be cooled it wasn't a UA-cam talk about your different points on why you do this or that What have you might lower the temperature a couple degrees right before breeding season at night or one of you keep slick insisted temperature for inciting breeding

    Hello Chris, you were saying when a snake is in shed don’t handle it, how long is the shed process

    • @ChrisHardwickanimaladventures
      @ChrisHardwickanimaladventures  5 років тому +1

      Depends on the snake, some take 1-2 weeks to go through the shed. And some don't mind being handled, but my retics get really grumpy.
